Door one leads into an instantly humid room, and the light level plunges - when the door closes, it locks and you cannot hear the noise from the party any more.

You appear to be in a small sunroom, maybe a greenhouse? There are plants everywhere and the only light is coming from outside, moonlight filtered through a very thick screen of foliage.
The angel sucked in a hard breath as she entered the first room with her team, instantly taking a protective stance. With Sei there, she would be careful to lead the pack and make sure he was completely safe at all times. Well, this room didn't seem too bad aside from the creepy silence and heat.

In fact, all the plants kind of reminded the angel of Ghylssa. "Everyone here?" she laughed, approaching the nearest plant and poking it.

Kia stared at the greenhouse, breathing in the thick humid air, thinking this wasn't so bad. It was a bit creepy with long dark shadows made by the cold white light... but other than that, it wasn't too bad. Plants weren't scary.

"I'm here." Kia replied, following close behind Shina, wings still tensed up and pressed against themselves and her back in a tight fold. "Plants?"

The plant abruptly opens up one large pod at the stimulus of touch, throwing beams of light EVERYWHERE - it seems to have a strongly luminescent center.

It closes again quickly, though, and the room falls dark. Too fast to really get a good look at the room.
The bright light caused the angel to jump back unexpectedly, nearly toppling over Sei and Kia. She placed a hand down to her son, making sure he was okay. The flash of light illuminated the room, causing Shina to c**k her head to one side. "This is a game... right?" The angel looked over her shoulder, switching into her spirit vision to see better. Well, atleast to see what else might be in the room with her.

"Does anyone see a way out of this room?" The dim light from Kia's wings and the light from outside did little to show the angel where she was going so, drawing her hands together, Shina set out to shed some light on the situation without poking the strange plants. A little trick left from her angelic days, Shina wove her hands over each other a few times until a very weak ball of light was spinning in her palm, casting light a few feet in each direction.

There's nothing in the room except plants, plants, and MORE plants. This is actually a pretty large room; it's just the area near the door is packed with greenery in an arch.

The plants begin to respond to the light. The glowing ones open up a little bit. A few, however, spit pollen at the new light source. It's sticky and makes Shina and Kia feel a lightly woozy; Sei is unaffected.

Kia blinked furiously, the sudden light making her eyes smart and tear. She rubbed at her eyes and stared around at the darkened room. For a second she'd seen everything but now it was dark again.

"Yea, of course." Kia replied. She continued to try and stare at things. It was impossible without a flashlight, why hadn't they brou... "Oooh, that's much better."

She beamed at Shina and but moved closer to one of Shina's sides to be nearer the light. Once that was done Kia tried to see if there was a door or something. But there was only plants. That was weird.

She stared at the plants as they opened up, some of them making a sticky something come out. Kia blinked. She was feeling kind of funny...

"What's that?"
The ball in Shina's hand slowly began to dim more and more as she attempted to shake something from her. Had the plant... spit at her? "There are... many... plants..." Thank you, Captian Obvious. Her voice sounded forced though, and the angel found speaking a bit harder than usual.

Something was strange here, and the angel did not want her child exposed to it. Approaching the archway covered with greenery, Shina wrapped her fingers around the vines and tried to pull, though she still felt very weak. "Kia... I want to get Sei... out of... here..." Having a pure heart, the angel trusted most people, but this game seemed strange and a bit dangerous.

Her maternal sense overrode her usual calm, contemplative sense as Shina reverted to more basic instincts; slash and burn, friends. Pumping her wings once, Shina yanked more and more, wanting to be in the open and in the light. On top of all that, she was really feeling strange now.

It was still going, still making her mind hazier and hazier. Kia wanted to shut the plants from making the stuff, but how were you supposed to do that?

Kia rubbed her temples, reaching down to hold onto the edge of a big pot for balance. She stared at Shina, was Shina feeling it too? She sounded like it, but her voice wasn't clear now. "Yes... let's get out."

Kia moved over to the archway, tugging hard at the vines. She wasn't strong normally, and now she was just pathetic. "Open!"

The vines twisted and snapped, the pollen ceasing, but nothing opened up.

But, as soon as the light stopped touching them, the further away plants also stopped spitting pollen. It seemed they were aiming for the light?

Down the pathway, there's a big enough gap in the foilage for light to stream in, and there in the moonbeam is a glow of one luminescent plant, being happily pollinated by one of the pollen spitters. Looks like Shina's spell fooled the plants into thinking it was something to be loved.
"Sei, stay away from the light," Shina snapped at once, unbeknownst to her that he was unaffected. With the end of pollen spitting, the angel seemed to not be getting any worse, but she still was a bit woozy. She stood and watched the pollen spitter lather up a welcoming plant and stepped back into the darkness, fully extinguishing the light she had created. "It's something... with the light?"

Shaking her head, the angel looked back toward a darker corner of the room. "Perhaps if we could direct all the plants toward a bright light source they would let us through?" More than anything, the angel wantd to work with nature, but the thick pollen was hindering her. She wanted to get out of this hot, dank room.

Deciding to give it a shot, Shina tried to make another ball of light, and upon creating it, she tossed it toward the other side of the room. It would glow while it traveled before disappating. "Kia, what do you think?" she coughed out, finding a little more ease with speaking as she wondered what the plants would make of her light show.

Wild Unicorn

Kia stared at the strange behavior of the plants, breathing in the clearer air, glad that the need to lean on something was passing again. Now her head was just a bit dizzy.

"They like light as much as we do." Kia muttered, not at all pleased about that. She had been relieved to be in Shina's light. "Could we do that? Maybe if ...well, one plant put out lots of light. Maybe they just want to touch each other, feel each other close in the dark? THen they let off light..."

She grinned when Shina made another ball of light, watching the progress. "I think that would work better again."

The pollen effects fade very fast; within a few breaths Shina and Kia should be feeling just fine.

After a few minutes of light, the pollen spitter down teh road stops spitting - apparently done with the job - and the luminous bud strains upward, then unfolds into a massive, bright purple flower, edged with what looks like pure white light on the tips of each petal. The heart of the flower glows brightly. Looks like the mating ceremony is over... and that the pollen spitters DON'T keep doing it forever...
Placing her arms up in some kind of defense (Though, really, what was she to do? Try to make the plant feel really bad for spitting pollen at her with her empath abilities?), Shina watched wide-eyed as the flower opened up, revealing what was a quite lovely flower. "Wow," Shina whispered, smiling over to Kia.

Lulled in like a moth to the flame, the angel approached the flower slowly, keeping a hand out behind her to warn her son to remain at a safe distance. She knew what happened last time she touched one of these things so, instead, the Fa'e chose to keep her hands to herself and instead she leaned over to look deep into the plant, squinting her eyes against the light.
