SETTING OF THE PLACE
Allerton Castle is a Grade I listed nineteenth century Gothic house in North Yorkshire, England. It was rebuilt from 1848-1853 and has:
~7 principal class rooms
~45 principal bedrooms
~18 bathrooms
~a chapel.
The great hall is 80 feet (24 m) high. It now stands in 6 acres (24,000 m²) grounds, and has a 40,000 square foot (3,700 m²) ground area.
An earlier version of the house was once used by HRH Prince Frederick, Duke of York (brother of King George IV).
Allerton Castle was originally called Stourton House, and was bought in 1983 by Dr Gerald Rolph from the Hon Edward Stourton, whose family owned the house 1805-1983 (the Lords Mowbray). The contents were sold in 1965.
It is run by the Gerald Arthur Rolph Foundation for Historic Preservation and Education.
The castle was damaged by fire and it took 12 hours to extinguish it.
Now this is a School of Wizardry where everyone is invited to join.
The shool believes that everyone has talents and everyone has the right to learn.
Each bedroom can occupy 5 students.
Each bathroom has 5 showers and 5 cubicles.
The principal classrooms are used for the subjects which requires privacy while learning in classes.
There's a wild forest nearby where students studies wild animals who can transform into beasts at certain times.
There's a field where students are taught to fly using broomsticks and taught to levitate theirsleves.
