Religion is a big topic to face. It always has been and forever will be. But what is religion for. Is it all real, is it there to motivate ppl, or is it there to keep a certain order? That is for every single person to decide on his or her own. But let me tell you this: All religions can't be true.

This is what I believe. Religion is fake. None of it is real. It is nothing but stories and rules that were made to scare ppl into behaving his or her self. Especially Chistianity. The bible. The new and old testiment. All fake in order to keep order. The commandments, simply just "laws" made before Government existed. And all those lovely stories about killing ones own son and gathering every animal on a boat, simply stories that have morals to them and if are believed, them the commandments will be followed. The stories are really just a scare tactic. And what about Jesus? Well i think you could just call him the first recorded magician. An early early day Chris Angel. He tricked the people to make him a God. Most believed, but the few that didnt were smart enough to take advantage of this and take order. Who knows, maybe Jesus was in on it.

Now don't go believing what I say, unless you truly think I'm right. This is just what I believe, and i thought that I would share it with you. What i would like is for other ppl to reply to this and say what they believe in. There are many religions and beliefs out there, what is yours?
To tell the truth, I am not sure what to think as far as religon goes. It might be real, it might not be. I tend to lean towards it being real, even though I am not very religous myself. Whatever religon I choose to follow, I dont pray, worship or any of that stuff. I just acknoledge the existance of the god who I choose to follow and that happens to be the Abrahamic God (The one accociated with Christianity, Jewish, and Muslum). You may find that strange being that I am a Philosphical Satanist, but thats just the way I am. I am more of a Philosphical and Spiritual believer than a religous one. In fact, I am the only one in my entire family that doesnt carry total christian beliefs.
I am not positive if the Bible is filled with stories, but the main reason why I don't believe in Religion is because I disagree with some of the s**t that is in it. I believe there are contradictions throughout it all, which makes it uncapable to live by.
Religon confuses me in one sence. I figure the thought of religon is great. It gives everyone something to belive which is important for the growth of a human being. But to take it and subdivide it is where I get lost we took a great thing and turned it into something horible. Can someone help me out here.

I agree. Christianity has so many contridictions in it. Like it says that God and Satan are two different people. Well, my question is, how can that be true? God is supposed to the Ultimate and pure good, and Satan is supposed to be the ultimate and pure evil. Well, all humans are comprised of both of these. If God created us in hos own image, then how did we become to have an evil side?
I believe in knowledge. it's not an official religion, but heck, compared to the other stuff out there, it has more of a right to be a religion than most religions....

That's how humans are. They think they're right, they disrespect other people's opinions-- which leads to harrassment, murder, etc.

Quite frankly, if everybody would just practise what they preached then they wouldn't have this problem.
If an idea helps you get through life and treat your fellow man with love, caring, and decency, then who the hell cares whether it's a lie or not? Ideas are more important than truth and lies. Ideas get you off your a** and do something. Whether it's based on truth or not is just convenience.

You do have a point, but they'd probably tell you that it's because they ruined that said purity. When Adam and Eve sinned, I guess you could say the "evil" of the human came out.

That could be true. buty the way I think about it is that God and Satan may actually be one person. That They are the same person possessing both the Ultimate good and The Ultimate Evil.

.

You have to remember that the Bible says Satan was once an Angel of God. He was cast out of Heaven because he thought he was "more powerful" than God, and questioned God's authority.

True, but one doesnt always have to follow the way the bible explained everything. The bible can be interpreted in so many different ways.
I believe in God. I am a Catholic.

Furthermore, I am perfectly reasonable and intelligent.

I do not force religion upon anyone.

You think of me as foolish, as one who does not understand science, someone who follows blindly the maniac ideas of some people dressed in nice robes in old looking buildings.
