Those who follow the darkest paths and those stray to the corruption of light. Legia is corroded by war, but one city in particular maintains its true heritage. This is where our story begins . . .

THE FUTURE OF CHRONOS LEGIA

After much consideration, I have discussed things with Syuzuki and Yuru. Chronos Legia has been slow for updates and has had troubles formulating plot. The world came together nicely, but metaplot has always been lacking. It is too hard for the Council to keep up with some of the original methods that we were going to do growings. First, I considered hiring a new roleplay manager to help with that, but the two who applied were both very good -- and after some thought, I decided to offer them more. I offered them both to co-own all of Chronos Legia and help them through the process. The announcement was going to come on January first, but a hiccup in my plans foiled that.

The disk that held all the files for Chronos Legia got corrupted. I've tried to restore it, but it must have been injured in one of the several moves we've taken with our computers. The art I've done, the certs, the banners are all gone so there is nothing I could give Asheris and Sodashi to help them firestart CL again.

Chronos Legia will not close, per say... but, there will be no further updates. I've already talked to Syuzuki about the shop 'closing'. The shop thread is yours to chat in, talk and find friends. I hand it over to all owners. The guild will remain. Feel free to continue to roleplay there. Those who were creating your own Legians, I'm sorry that I will be unable to cert them, but it's perfectly fine for you to use them to roleplay. Those who play the Magi, feel free to continue if you like. I would like to extend an extremely huge thank you to all who participated up to this point and to Sodashi-chan and Asheris -- who on a whim were willing to take over and keep Chronos Legia alive. If you would still like to hold huge RP events, make metaplot, etc.. feel free to do so on a whim in the thread of guild. Invade the castle, burn the city, drive you characters insane, have it rain acid for a year -- whatever might be interesting. The world is free for yours to control. Just remember, please to not control another's character in the process. If any of the Magi are not roleplayed, consider it that they have vanished from the world and maybe that is why it is falling apart.

Matangn will still get one more evolved piece of art from myself for his evolution orb. :3~

Legia is a vast land with different climates. The use of magic here has warped the sky to a startling violet color mixed with blue. It could be raining one minute, sunny the next, and snowing while there's a tornado. It really just depends. There are plants and animals of various types. The structures are built with magic, so they have the ability to float, be incredibly tall, withstand torrents, fit 10 people in a space built for 1, you get the idea. Doors can go to any location. This is a land of magic, use your imagination. Most buildings on the outside look like white cobblestone or marble. Fountains in the city are numerous.

There are three levels to the city of Eonath. Upper, middle, and lower, all with their own distinct names. The city itself is not huge, but rather very tall with its several levels.

Arris, the floating city is a series of buildings set on land that floats a few hundred feet into the air, complete with its own rivers floating around the land. Arris has day and night and a tower that extends into the clouds with a spiral staircase. The Magi Council exists in the upmost hall of The Silver Tower. The lower portion of the tower is connected to a castle that is safe haven for all. Arris is covered in marble and glass. It seems to be a giant crystal when it shines through the clouds around it.

Eonath, the land coated in darkness. This is the middle level. The real sky is hidden by Arris above. Mages have cast the illusion of twilight so that stars always shine where it is always night. In some areas, the illusion does not cover and the bright vision of Arris shines through. Rildere Castle is home to those in Eonath.

Carsis, the underground levels of Eonath, only exists in some areas. Since all water on Legia is touched by magic, Carsis is located beneath the surface of water, but not -in- water. The city is perfectly normal, and the water stops a no more than 100 yards below the surface. Carsis has creatures like dolphins and fish that float in that water and above the heads of those in Carsis. If you look from Eonath down, Carsis looks like a glimmer of flame and and stone carved buildings in the city below the surface. The Black Cathedral is home to those in Carsis.

All of Legia is your playground. Your Legian may pick up any occupation or study. That is up for you to decide. Naturally, both good and evil are housed in the walls of the castle, so you may not find friends at every turn.

There are certain requirements for roleplay posts within the thread. One is that they retain a Document post type. These make roleplay easier to find. If you stick near the castle -- you have more chances of running into other people that way. Every Legian, when created by the Mages, is given a small bit of personality and a role that ties them into the story and gives them a little part for you to build on.

Now, there are some GUARDIAN requirements.

+ A guardian is required only at the beginning of your Legian's life . Basically, from the point you get your orb to the creation of your Legian. After all, the Legian might rebel and leave his/her guardian, or the guardian might abandon the Legian. Then again, they could always stay together. But you must keep your guardian until the Magi give you your Legian.

+ You guardian can not have anything to do with technology and can not be some unusual winged being. After all, that's what Legian are for. For the most part, your guardian needs to be human, or at least human looking. If your guardian is too out of line, the Magi will DENY your request for your Legian to be born.

+ No technology exists. Remember this when you are writing and when your guardian is being created. The guardian is not the main point of the story, your Legian is. Honestly, your guardian could be a random homeless person that finds an orb and takes it to the mages. Use creativity!

+ A pet peeve of mine is when people use obvious RPG names. Please be a bit creative with names. Don't just go berserk and use something like "Shadowlight" or "Starchild" for their last name.

Legia is unbound by traditional thought. The races here are diverse beyond imagine. There is a list below for some examples, but this does not include everything by far. Each race is unique in its own way, attributing to some of the design of your Legian. Don't be mislead by common ideals, here -- there are such things as cruel angels and kind demons, vampires who breath life and not death.

Races include faerie, angel (several classes), demon (several types: succubus, incubus, sins), werewolf, grimlin, dragon, pheonix, unicorn, pegasus, banshee, bahamut, baku, basalisk, imp, chimera, garm, elf, golem, gryphon, harpy, leviathan, keres, mermaid, siren, naga, tengu, wyvern, vampire, kitsune, tanuki, grim, and more.

These are only a small part of your character. They help the artists come up with ideas on what to draw into your character. You are not bound to be a blood drinking vampire if you want, and any character might know magic in this world. Technology does not exist. Only magic. Everything is powered by such. Learn to love candles again.

Legia is home to several races, windswept by the sands of change and time. The last god before the Downfall of Gods, Chronos, swept away the Sands of Change with his own breath. At times like this, they have regathered, strengthened by his will, and locked into a perfectly circular orb. Extremely rare these orbs of creation are, and twins are unlikely, but possible.

Creation orbs come in only two types. Orbs aligned with the darkness, blessed by a demon's touch, and those aligned with the light, cursed by an angel's kiss. The creation orb decides what path your Legian will follow and what side they will be on. Choose carefully, although traitors have been known to slip through.

Legians can be dark or light aligned, chaotic or just. Everything is decided in the Sands of Time chosen to birth them from. Your orb decides if they are dark or light aligned.

After your Legian has been around awhile, you might have the chance to get an Evolution Orb. I, myself, have never seen them, but from what I hear they are smaller than Creation Orbs, and bring your Legian to the next stage of evolution. I can't imagine what could possibly be after our normal lives. They are very very rare, and I hear they're quite expensive. Evolution orbs also cannot be used if your Legian is LESS THAN ONE MONTH OLD.


Evolution orbs, while being incredibly small give you options to choose and other art for your Legian. Full body chibi, Half body regular, etc. Also, they do actually promote evolutional stages for your Legian. One can never really tell what might pop out! Always wanted wings? Your legian having emotional troubles with his horn? This might be your answer.

Once you have obtained an orb you must see the Magi Council. To attempt to create your Legia by means of Deeper Magic is forbidden. You may choose which member of the Magi Council will work on your Legian. There are five council members to choose from who have very different tastes. They will decide what your Legian looks like. The Council will create the final spell. Time must work backwards to bring your creation to life. The waiting time is generally two weeks.

There is a requirement of at least one roleplay post in your journal after you get an orb. You will deliver the orb to the Council Member of your choice then. You are allowed to request a race, but not guaranteed to get it. You should get your Legia by two weeks from the date of the date of this roleplay. Possibly sooner. An artist's perogative.

Reus

Reus is the big sister type to the rest of the Magi
Council. She can be bossy and brash, and she
will not take crap from anyone. It is best to stay
on her good side. Reus is skilled in creating the
angel (rare), elf, imp, banshee, demons, fae, and
werewolf enchanted legians.

Ergo

One of the youngest Magi in the council. Ergo is skilled
in arcane arts beyond the knowledge of some elders. He
is one of the more common Magi that citizens call upon
to have Legians created. Ergo is skilled at creating the
black unicorn (rare), unicorn, tanuki, kitsune, tengu,
and mermaid enchanted legians.

Aetas

Probably known as the oddest mage on the council, Aetas
is well known for wearing feminine clothing and keeping
his hair in cute, but ever changing styles. He is the oldest
on the council, so he has absolutely no shame and isn't
afraid to either speak his mind, or say things outright.
Aetas is skilled in creating the dragon (rare), leviathan,
wyvern, pegasus, harpy, and gryphon enchanted legians.

Claus
Claus is skilled in creating the pheonix (rare), basalisk,
baku, chimera, garm, and golem enchanted legians.

Quo
Quo is skilled in creating the grim (rare), keres, vampire,
naga, siren, bahamut, and grimlin enchanted legians.

# At least one (1) in character post per month. Either in thread or in guild. Your Legian will undergo suspension after that. If two months pass, your Legian will die.

# You will have a forum created for you in the Chronos Legia guild. There will be one post in it started by Chronos Legia. Create a bio or information journal for your Legian in that thread.

# To get a Legian:
I. Purchase a creation orb when they are available.

II. You will get a journal. Post in thread or in your journal your encounter with the Magi Council. The time for this can be set up in PM, or roleplayed over the two weeks following your orb purchase.

III. The mages will take your orb, and create your Legian. The age and race vary on the talent of the mage assigned to it. Remember: You can request a certain mage, and you can request a certain race, but you might not get the race you request.

  • How do I get a Legian?
    Read the entire first page.

  • How much do they cost?
    Flatsales cost 15k. Auctions start at 15k, and auto at 200k. Guest Legians cost 10k (see rules for details).

  • How many will be sold during flatsales?
    Always two at a time.

  • Can I have the same race as another person?
    Yes, unless the mages deny it.

  • What about evolution orbs?
    Read the post on this. They can be obtained several ways. Quests, competitions, roleplay, gifts, and more.

  • Can my Legian wear armor?
    Yes, but nothing crazily complicated.

  • Are Legians boys? Girls? What about breeding?
    Legians can be either gender -or- genderless depending on their race. All genders can breed, but the mages have not approved breeding yet.

  • Do the mages accept pet trades?
    No.

  • Will there be customs?
    No.

  • What type of flatsales are there?
    Roleplay. We don't do speed here. And an important thing to note is that we -do- keep in mind if you lurk a lot in shop. So post! Be active. Let us know you are around. We'll remember your name when judging a lot more if we've seen it before.

  • Who play the magi?
    Kalindara plays Aetus, -Gabriel- plays Ergo, Kaleidoscopegrl plays Reus, Tsu 5 e plays Quo, and Yuru plays Claus.

  • Do all Magi have white hair?
    As a random fact, yes.

  • Are all Legians drawn by the same person/mage?
    Currently, yes. In the future, higher class mages will be sought.

  • Are guardians required?
    At first, yes. For more information, see the post about guardian requirements.

  • Can each mage do any race?
    The answer is no. Each mage can only do certain races, so be careful who you choose. A general guideline is here, but races are not limited to these:

    Ergo: black unicorn (rare), unicorn, tanuki, kitsune, tengu, mermaid
    Reus: angel (rare), elf, imp, banshee, demons, fae, werewolf
    Aetas: dragon (rare), leviathan, wyvern, pegasus, harpy, gryphon
