Rune Midgard
After a long and gruesome war between gods, humans, and demons, the land of Rune Midgard barely managed to survive. The battles were fierce and seemingly endless, until finally the three parties decided it was time to forge a truce - 1000 years of peace soon settled across the lands.
From the ceasefire, the humans who survived the horrors passed on their bloodlines, but forgot to pass on the memories. Overtime, memories of war and bloodshed were mere fragments of the past... and by forgetting the faults of the past... selfishness, corruption, and ignorance were given birth, and spread across Midgard like an incurable disease.
Day by day, strange occurrences failed to be dismissed as they became increasingly ominous. The balance of the land began to hinder, and then - A howl. A piercing shriek from the boundaries dividing the humans from both god and demon... darkness crawled from the shadows, and the peace was soon to be forgotten.
But not all hope was lost; young adventurers and brave warriors stepped forth, challenging the darkness and meeting it with sword, dagger, axe, bow, wand (and even slotted bibles!). The fight was far from over.

Valkyrie
One of the most famous warriors to fight in the initial war was known as Valkyrie. She was the first known Lord Knight, with abilities comparable to those of God and demon. Although her mindset was focused entirely on defeating the darkness that plagued her world, her heart was elsewhere. Valkyrie had fallen in love with a comrade named Thanatos, an Assassin. The two were said to be unbreakable, the blood of demons were all that was left in their wake. However, Thanatos fell victim to a demon's wrath, and his soul was destroyed... and was replaced by the demon's. With a body possessed, the demon Thanatos murdered Valkyrie the night the ceasefire was declared.
However, Valkyrie's soul was also shattered the night her lover put her to her death. The legend states that although Thanatos had been possessed, the demon's soul had been driven into sheer madness from such overwhelming pain and anguish from the real Thanatos. Some part of the Assassin still contained traces of the pure soul, and with that, Thanatos carried Valkyrie's body to a powerful god, known as Lady Tany, and begged that Valkyrie's soul be saved. The condition was that Thanatos be unable to pass on into the next world... and that Valkyrie's soul be seperated into six pieces.
Agreeing to the terms, Valkyrie's soul was split and was enchanted into six pieces of her armor... which gave birth to Valkyrie's Helm, Valkyrie's Armor, Valkyrie's Lance, Valkyrie's Shield, Valkyrie's Manteau, and Valkyrie's Greaves. Lady Tany told Thanatos that upon the reunion of all six pieces of armor, Valkyrie would be revived... and with that, the items vanished, scattered all across Rune Midgard.
However, Lady Tany took pity upon Thanatos' broken heart, and decided to give him the same fate. His soul was shattered, and enchanted into four pieces of armor; Thanatos' Sash, Thanatos' Katar, and Thanatos' Twin Daggers. These four items were then dispered throughout Midgard... never to be found to this day. At least, no one has said otherwise.

Q: How much does a character cost?
A: 20k, no more, no less, and no negotiations unless otherwise stated.
Q: How much are custom characters?
A: 100k+, but it depends entirely on the level of difficulty/detail.
Q: If I bought a Bunny Band for my Novice, will you change the character?
A: Of course, but it'll only be an edit.
Q: It's been 3 weeks, and my merchant is still a merchant. What's the deal?
A: I've deemed your RPing insufficient. The "2 weeks minimum" is just a guideline.
Q: Do I have to RP my character?
A: I've made it so that you have to tell me upon purchase of the novice whether
or not you'll be RPing the character.
Q: So if I don't RP my character after I said I WON'T, what happens?
A: The process of growth will be slower, and there will be no way of achieving Transcendent.
It doesn't bother me if you'd prefer something to sit pretty in your sigs... haha.
Q: And if I said I WILL RP my character, but don't, what happens?
A: Growth will be slower, and the chances of you reaching Transcendent are very slim. But no,
I will not take your character away.
