XDD!! I do have a lot of time on my hands actually. Help me out, then?

Hello! My name is Kelly, and you are welcome to call me such or any other name you see fit. I am a short Vietnamese girl with a ardent love for anime and pretty boys with awesome hair. Fourteen years is my age and I have roleplayed for but a single year. I know what you're thinking. "Why would I want a little fourteen year old child, who isn't even in high school yet, to join my roleplay? She doesn't even have years of expirence underneath her belt. She couldn't possibly know what she's talking about!"

Understandable.

However, I'm going into the tenth grade this year and I assure you I am at least literate. When I started out, I was a semi-literate. I never roleplayed like this: *walked across room* in my entire life. In that single year I have moved up to literate. Some even have said Advanced Literate. I was in Honors English 9 last year, and I'm going to remain in English Honors next year (Hemmingway's a b***h...I hate summer homework). I enjoy writing very much, and my latest project has been to write a short, short story for a scholarship. I try my best to give my writing voice, and I appearently succeed (so says my teachers). I'm not a genius (four points off), but I am definitely not stupid. I like to think I'm fairly...creative. I have times when the words don't flow and I don't feel like writing. However, I also have times when all I want to do is roleplay and let my ideas flow. So be patient with me.

I love group roleplays, with a firey passion. One on one is difficult for me, but I will do it if I really want to use the plot. I adore premade roleplays! They give extra plot, and it allows for character weaving. Something I do a lot.

Anyway, here's a list of roleplays I'm willing to partake in:
I'd like to remind that I'm referring to thread roleplays. I'm not really into one on one. But, I will if your plot is good enough.

heart Definitely heart
School/University [ 3nodding ]
Sins/Virtues (If the focus isn't really on religion)
Angels (Same as above)

4laugh Kitsuyo likes. 4laugh
Elemental
Road Trip
Fighting (If it's martial arts, however, I'm not the best at those either...) [ sweatdrop (If there are guns and such.)]
Slave/Master (If I'm the slave) [ 3nodding (If I'm the mistress)]

3nodding Never tried it, but I'll try if the plot is good. 3nodding
Fantasy
Medevil
Family
Vampire
Kingdom

sweatdrop I dunno... [aka. No.] sweatdrop
School/University of the Gifted
Series [Any anime, cartoon, or game related roleplay]
Futuristic
Pirates
Band
Sci-fi
Bar

Things you need to know:
-I only do group roleplays.
-I only do original roleplays.
-I live in Eastern Time.
-I probably can't stay on all day.
-I only join one or two roleplays at a time. It's easier to keep up then.
-I heart heart premade roleplays!
-I'm a sucker for romance (not like that, pervs). However, it's not a must. Particularly for fighting roleplays.
-I'm looking to find a job for the summer...since I'm still a minor and this would be my first job the likeliness of it happening is low. Keep it in mind, though.

That's all I can really think of right now. If you have any questions on the roleplays I'll do, just ask.

My Characters

These are my two characters. I know, I know, not much diversity. I usually use Kitsuyo as a default, since she's more like me than Kei. I do have a habit to do the more cute, shy characters, but I can be play a dominant person as well.

Kitsuyo Sakurai
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Username: Kitsuyo-dono
Character Name: Kitsuyo Sakurai
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Kitsuyo has always been a frail girl—pale and skinny. Her eyes are a soft brown, holding no anger, no ferocity. They are wide and bright with innocence, and yet hold a small defiance. Her hair is a color similar to her eyes—soft brown. Typically held up with a black ribbon, a few strands always seem to get loose and fall in her face. Kitsuyo is fairly tall, standing at 5'6'' and weighing 125 pounds. She is usually seen wearing casual clothing, since she doesn't like to stand out.
Personality: You've heard the saying "Ignorance is bliss," yes? Well, that basically describes Kitsuyo… She's a pretty simple girl. She likes being happy and smiling, so she laughs a lot. When she sees someone sad, she'll go up to them and ask what's wrong. She even has trouble with sarcasm; sometimes not being able to distinguish the difference. She isn't very special nor does she stand out in a crowd, but she sees the world in such a way that only young children can see.
Fatal Flaw: In a nutshell: Kitsuyo is stupid. She has little common sense and little book smarts. She rushes to conclusions and doesn't use logic. Naive and easily swayed in opinion, Kitsuyo believes what other people tell her. She's immature and childish, making her a whiner, but she tries not to let any of her flaws show.
Bio: Kitsuyo came from a regular old family, but she was born the middle child and was often ignored. She has a bit of a self-esteem issue, but she tries her best not to let it show. Her family is not rich, and her parents have to work job upon job so their kids don't have to. For that Kitsuyo was always grateful, but she always felt as if she was in the way. Add that to neglect…

Kei Nagasaka
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Character name: Kei Nagasaka
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Appearance: Kei is a scrappy girl, always full of energy. She has beautiful teal eyes, they're always full of expression. Whether she's happy, sad, angry, or any combination of emotion, her eyes show it. Platinum hair frames her head in a boyish looking cut. Her bangs are almost always tied back with a headband. She is actually a very feminine looking girl, but with a scrowl usually placed on her face she looks much more threatening. Her arms and legs are powerful from years of constant martial arts.
Personality: Kei is a blunt person, and she wont sugar coat anything for anyone. She's always been a tomboy growing up, she's never been very elegant at anything, and overall, she's pretty offensive. In addition, Kei is a pretty violent person. She's taken martial arts since she's been young, and likes to spar when she can. However, Kei isn't a stranger to emotion; when she's happy she'll laugh, when she's sad she'll cry.
Fatal Flaw: Kei's biggest flaw is prehaps her pride. She doesn't like being wrong, and even if she is, she will do all she can to prove isn't. Stubborn, and hard-headed, Kei doesn't mind being wrong as long as it isn't acknowledged. Kei isn't exactly bright either, she acts first and thinks later. She's the kind of person who would tackle a robber but be killed in the process. Heh?
Bio: When her parents passed away in an alcohol related car accident, Kei was sent to her grandparent's house. It was a huge change in life style, her parents were always there for her, it was strange without them. Kei was only ten or eleven when her parents died, but her grandparents were very good guardians in their place. Despite the lurking melancholic aura over the three of them, Kei grew up to be a very strong young woman. She's very independent and proud. She knows that she has to fight for things she wants. She loves fighting in general and on martial arts terms, she fights with twin sai.

A Few Examples

This first example is what I usually use for roleplays that need a roleplay sample. It's in story format, and it's an early piece of work...don't judge too harshly.
Roleplay Sample
"Consider a rose, Candice. The petals...so soft, delicate, and winding. It gives the flower a complicated appearance, does it not? Yet, when you really think about it, a rose is actually, quite simple. It desires to be secluded...to be the grace of few eyes, so it grows thorns in hopes for protection. I, with comparable beauty, must be protected from those who dare to touch." Madeline reached down to pluck the subject of her speech with delicate piano fingers. "Those with beauty deserve beauty."

"What a b***h..." Kitsuyo mumbled under her breath, flipping the page of her novel. It was beautiful that day. The sun was warm, but the breeze was cool and moderate. A perfect day for reading in an outdoor cafe. Gentle calming music played quietly from small speakers, and the area--despite the pollution of city life--smelled strongly of grounded coffee beans and fresh bread. Kitsuyo sighed. She loved reading here. The novel she was reading was nothing special, but the title caught her eye in the library; The Good, the Bad, and Those Who Get in Madeline's Way. The title amused her. Madeline amused her. It was worth it.

"Here's your coffee, miss."

The voice was familiar. Who was it? Was it...that waiter? She closed her eyes tightly and brought the book a bit closer to her face for a moment. Please don't be the waiter...! She knew he had caught her gaze when she first saw of him. She knew she had been looking for far too long to be considered acceptable in polite society; but...was it her fault he was so attractive? A shock of white blond hair, sun-tanned skin, and ice blue eyes ((A little Charles Dickens style for ya. ^^))

Kitsuyo peered over her book; her previous indifferent demeanor was fading fast. It was him. She felt like slamming her head repeatedly into the table. Bang. Bang. Bang. Yeah, that would have been nice. He held out his tray still for her to take the drink. It smelled sweet and was a creamy mocha color--just the way she liked it. "E-excuse me, but I believe you have the wrong person. I didn't order any coffee..."

"What? You don't like coffee? I was sure--" He dropped the tray on her table nevertheless, and rubbed a hand through his blond hair sheepishly. "Sorry, I was stupid again. I could get you something else"

"..." She gave him a strange look. "Eh?"

"I'm on my break, I saw Sakuya and Ryu serving you some decaf coffee before and then you put a shitload of cream and sugar in it; so, I figured..."

Kitsuyo opened her mouth to respond, but soon closed it. What the hell? Was he stalking her or something? What was is his problem?! She shuffled her feet under the chair, a habit signalling that she was contemplating her next move. "What...? What are you talking about? I didn't order any coffee. I mean, yeah, I like decaf with cream and sugar, but so what? So do a lot of people! I didn't buy it, and even if I did, I shouldn't get some sort of special treatment. I don't even go here all that often."

The waiter blinked his turquoise eyes twice at her denseness. Was she seriously...? He made a choked sound before converting into laughter. "Oh...you're funny--I bought it for you!"

A slur of emotions crossed her face. Angry, because he was laughing at her; happy, because she liked coffee and he was giving her some; confused, because...well, she was pretty much always confused. Anger won in the end, and she snapped her novel closed. "I don't appreciate being laughed at." She bit out, snatching the coffee. She attempted to dump the broiling hot drink down her throat, but only burned her tongue. She spat it out immediately, feeling incredibly embarrassed but looking even stupider. Wiping the brown dribble off her face with the back of her hand, she was horrified to realize that the whole cafe was now staring at her--and worse, that waiter was still laughing! The brunette slammed the cup down back into the tray and walked off in a huff, the rest of the cafe clapping condescendingly to her. She thought she might start crying. Not only had her recent crush laughed at her, but she made herself out to be a huge a**. A sigh escaped her lips. Today was a bad day. Kitsuyo decided she didn't like bad days....

"Weird girl." Another waitress commented, stepping into her toes to peer over her friend's shoulders.

"I know; that's why I like her." He grinned. "I like weird, like you, Sakuya."

"Yeah, well, I'm the good weird. She's the money-stealing, coffee-spitting weird. The worst kind, I'm tellin' ya."

"Well...I don't like coffee much either," He stuck out his tongue and walked back into the cafe with the tray. "Break's over."

((I appologize for the formating problems. It wont format correctly...))
The following are examples for first posts. I believe that first posts should always be much longer than usual posts. Lately my first posts have been looking like this:

First Post Example 1
Early. It was far too early to be up and about. The sweltering summer was giving off it's last heat stroke before the fall came. That was something to look forward to. The beginning of Fall, when the breeze was cool and the sun as warm. That kind of weather only lasted for a moment, but it left the best impressions. Ah! Kitsuyo was spacing again. Not good. Especially since she was driving. She would get to Tsumaki soon--just a few more minutes. She was looking forward to getting inside. Her car's AC was broken...air conditioned comfort sounded pretty good. Even if it was from a horrid place like a...school. It was getting harder and harder to concentrate. The heat was making her brow ooze sweat and making her cheeks flush a deep rose color. Breathing seemed to get harder and harder, even with the window open. A small yawn escaped her lips, making her eyes water and swerve her steering wheel just a bit. Just a little bit, though, the traffic was getting worse and she could easily get into an accident. "I'm...I'm so overheated..." She let out a small whine, "Why is life so goddamn hard?!"

When the brunette finally reached the inside of the building, she didn't exactly feel better. The number of students crowding together made the AC completely useless. In fact, her car sounded pretty inviting. The line moved slowly. Even slower due to the position everyone was in. She glanced around, several people she new hung around, chatting with their friends, further increasing the heat in the main building. Kitsuyo's keys jingled as she unclasped them from her hand. She slipped them into her pocket and pressed her back onto the painted stone-looking walls. It was a short, cool relief, but pleasing for the moment. Sliding down until she was in a sitting position, Kitsuyo watched as people with keys left the main building and headed for the dorm building. Lucky bastards.

Peering at the feet of the crowd before her, Kitsuyo looked for her friends. Raito in particular. She hadn't seen any of her friends since the previous year. That was the problem with boarding school. Even when you spend so much time with your friends during the year, you rarely see each other during the summer. Everyone lives all over the world... Her past summer wasn't very fun. She had a vacation in the Caribbean, but between her older sister ranting and her little brother flirting, it wasn't a very family friendly trip. That was one of the last summers with her family before college. Her sister was kinda pathetic, still living with their family. Oh, I'm ranting... Well, in any case, Kitsuyo would have much rather spent her time with Raito and her other friends. She had noticed, however, that Rai was spending more and more time with Yuiko. Kitsuyo didn't hate the girl, but she didn't like her as much as she should have. Yuiko was a strange girl, but Kitsuyo didn't mind that. "Normal" people like her were boring. She had heard some rumors last year that Yuiko was raped at her old school. Somehow Kitsuyo doubted it was true, rumors like that spread all the time. Most were lies, but Raito seemed to believe them. Rai...Raito was Kitsuyo's best friend, and it would make her sad if he suddenly started ignoring her.

"Next!"

"Hey, isn't that you?"

"Ah! Yes, I'm sorry!" Jumping up to her feet, Kitsuyo stepped up to the front desk. "Hi! I'm Kitsuyo Sakurai."

The office lady gave a tired nod and took a moment to find the right file. Licking her lips in mild impatience, Kitsuyo peered the dorm room combinations. She found her name with...Kyosuke... She now chewed her lip in anxiety. She didn't like being made fun of...but she didn't not like Kyosuke either. This would be a bit awkward. She met Kyosuke a few years ago. He didn't seem all that bad at first. It was when he saw her practicing that he seemed like an a**. Kitsuyo couldn't make herself hate him, however. He was so nice to Hatsume. He couldn't be that bad. But then again, Hatsume was pretty awesome.

The older woman jingled the dorm key in from of Kit's face. "I thought I lost you for a second there."

She smiled politely in response, taking her key and attaching it to the ring containing her others. She got back to her car and lugged in all her heavy suitcases and bags into the dorm building. Dorm number 1. That's easy enough to remember. Once she got into her designated dorm, slid her key inside the lock. It created the grating sound of metal upon metal. She hated that sound, and curled her toes in discomfort. Shaking off the sound with a shake of her head, Kitsuyo dumped all her bags on the foot of the closest bed. She retied her black bow and made a small sound when a few strands became free once again. That always happened. Unpacking sounded very unappealing at the moment... The mini-mountain would only get left behind if she didn't start unpacking now. But laziness won in the end. Bleh.

However, first posts may be this long:

First Post Example 2
A small sigh escaped Kitsuyo's lips. They were out again...her parents and now her sister. That's how things worked, turn 18 and no matter your class, you're off to work. Her parent's slight social standing among the ghetto was enough to save her from work before becoming an adult, but she only had one more year. "Don't worry, guys. We'll work extra hard so you don't have to.". Kitsuyo hated The Black Market so much. So much. But if she were to speak a word of disdain she would be shipped to Burke. Sometimes, Kitsuyo really thought life had nothing to offer. Sometimes....sometimes...

Kitsuyo dipped her head against her chair. She had to hide in her room when they were working, so they wouldn't force her to do anything. It was so boring... She would never admit it to her parents, but she had secretly been selling her food rations to one particularly overweight guard. In return, he would give her a few coins and spare metal. It seemed worthless to him, but hugely precious to her. The thought fresh in her mind, Kitsuyo dug deep under her bed and found her secret box. It contained a few pictures, her coins, and two packages folded in ragged cloth. One package held her metal scraps, which she melted into makeshift shaken (or "ninja stars" wink . They were crude and not nearly sharp enough, but they would do in an emergency. Next, the second package held the twin sai Kitsuyo's grandfather gave to her.

It was a descrete moment, when he was dying on his bed--before being shipped to Verrier. He called her to his bed and directed her to it, mumbling about how he tried to escape...how desperately he wanted to escape. But then he half-laughed and wondered where he would go after he left. He was going crazy from sickness and it broke Kitsuyo's heart to see him go. He always said that Kitsuyo was a fighter--the quiet ones were always the most deadly. He personally prefered her brother, but to have given her such a thing...

Inhale. Exhale. Relax. Kitsuyo thought to herself. She grazed her fingers across the dull blades. Sai, touched without precaution was still hardly harmful. Beside the semi-sharp tip, it was only deadly when force was applied with passion. One day...one day Kitsuyo chanted as if it were a mantra. Where would she go? What would she do? Her hatred for The Black Market came to mind. Maybe she could storm them Gaiger, create an army of half-humans and full humans, and then everything would be alright again. Everything would be alright!!

Maybe Kitsuyo was starting to go crazy....she wasn't the leader type, she wasn't anything. No...she was less than that because she was human. God, what was happening to her? Was this life really starting to get to her? There was a time when she wasn't so angry all the time. It seemed so far away now...when she had a surplus of happiness. God...if there was such thing...why would you let them punish us? What did we do? Why?

Kitsuyo decided that there was no God right then. Existance was a fluke. And it was up to us to figure out how to make it better or worse. Kitsuyo found some comfort in those words. She didn't have to wait for something to happen. She could do it herself. She could do it all on her own...

Screams of the elderly, and children running home was a familiar sound. The Black Market was here again. The pounding of her heart was raging inside her ear drums. They were coming! "Seiku! Hide! They're here!!" Kitsuyo whispered harshly into her brother's corner of the room. He was asleep previously, but stirred and mumbled a soft "Whaa...?" Kitsuyo repeated herself, and ran to the door as look out as Seiku prepared places hidden from view. It was like a twisted game of Hide and Seek. Except you may die in the end.

It really depends on the plot and what comes to mind. The last first post were written pretty long ago. Wow...maybe six monthes... It's unlikely I'll write something so short. Don't worry. ^^

---------------------------------------------

A regular post can vary from this long:

Regular post Example 1
Kitsuyo laughed at their gentle teasing. It was nice being with Raito, he was an ideal guy to be with. Smart, but he didn't let that get to him. He still had personality and a fun one at that. "'Ask nicely enough'?" She repeated, mocking him, "Princesses don't ask, princesses get what they want." She stuck out her tongue playfully. But even that soon faded as she watched Yuiko crash into an innocent customer--or was it the other way around?

A part of Kitsuyo wanted to laugh. Who wouldn't when a girl you didn't like just got covered in coffee? She hid her smile behind her hand as she watched. But then she started to get a little scared. If Yuiko was in one of her "moods" she would have totally set off and basically murder who ever was unfortunate enough to not look where he was going. Her smile melted and she took a bracing step back. Pressing her hand closer to her mouth she took quiet breaths. There was a rumor last year that Yuiko was so angry one time she completely destroyed one of the classrooms--another student explained that it was an accident in the science lab. What's the difference? Kitsuyo wondered vaguely with an inner snicker. ((Wow, that would be a really mean thought...))

The coffee stained her corset, and she fiercely tried to get it off. The sight of Yuiko so fiercely scrubbing and her face getting so red was enough to make Kitsuyo stop being scared and resume smiling. She turned quickly to hide such an inappropriate thing at the time. She played with her fingers for a moment before Raito handed her a twenty and told her to get him something cold. The brunette mustered a small "Oh...okay." and twisted her head slowly to watch Raito go to Yuiko. It ate at her inside as she watched. Yes, they were friends and she would have done the same to a mutual friend but something about how they talked and their tone made her stomach feel nervous. She felt like she was watching something she shouldn't. Her mouth pressed into a fine line. She had never really understood how that worked when she read books like Harry Potter. Professor McGonnagal ((sp?)) did that lots of times. She let out a small sigh through her nose--to make it quieter--it would be funny if she grew up to be a strict old woman like that when she grew older as well.

"Hey! Are you gonna order?"

The worker was near Kitsuyo's age and she ment the statement in a friendly tone as she was smiling then. Kitsuyo had jumped but found her way to the counter. "One grande stawberries and cream frappiccino, please." She peered at the twenty in her hand and then the boyfriend in the booth. Her jaw suddenly felt tight. She didn't know what Raito liked beside hot chocolate and that wouldn't be very pleasing at the moment... "Uhm...make that two." The worker nodded, taking a moment to look at the booth. She gave another smile, though not as wide as the first, and told her the price. Kitsuyo handed her the twenty as Raito directed, and collected the change before sitting at the booth where her friends were sitting as she waited for the drink to be made. A part of her hoped that by doing that they would stop talking. Another part wanted them to keep talking so she could know how they talked to each other. But that was a pretty "jealous girlfriend" view.

Oh, well.

To this long:

Regular Post Example 2
Plopping onto her bed, Kitsuyo let out a small sigh. It was much cooler in the dorm building, what with everyone in the main one; but the sheer knowledge of being in a school was awful. There was still a good week left before it started...what was she doing here? She peered out the window, awful weather... It wouldn't be any good going outside, dying slowly in there was just as bad a dying slowly out there! The school was divided into three buildings. The Dorm Building for obvious purposes. The Main Building (or torture building, as called by many of ofthe students), which housed the core classes of Math, Science, English, and History/Social Studies. Finally, the last building was the one everyone actually liked to go to--The Elective Building. It had the gym and musical rooms, with all kinds of different electives like Home Ec. or Shop. It wouldn't be a bad idea to go there...the Elective Building, that is. It may not be open but it was worth the try. Kitsuyo dug into her bags and found a small trove of her clothes. She locked the door, in case Kyosuke or anyone else might barge in, and changed into some thinner shorts. Denim was nice and matched with everything, but it was kind of thick.

When Kitsuyo was satisfied, and officially cooler, she left the building. The campus for Tsumaki was also very impressive. It was large, and had a few venders, and even had a private park. Thinking about it...Kitsuyo's parents must have paid a fortune to afford her tuition...they never seemed to complain about it...

Luckily, the building was open for the occassion of the students returning, though hardly anyone was around. It was a bit eery. Usually, everyone was there. She glanced at the passing classrooms as she ambled through the hall. The several types of gyms...the several types of music rooms.... She found the Band Room with ease, and found that yet again, no one occupied the space. With a smile spreading, she ran over and slid into the seat for the piano. She had never learned to play, but she always wanted to. She couldn't sing either. What a creative child the Sakurai's birthed! Kitsuyo had always been told by her siblings that she had a shrill voice, especially when she screamed. Fair enough. Pressing a few random keys, she made an ugly melody. It was strange and out of beat. "Bah! Where's Tetsu when you need him?"

I try to write 30 lines at the very least, but it's difficult sometimes. It really depends on how creative I feel at the moment.
