The New Samurai Suicchi

Have you ever sat down, and this idea just hit you in the back of the head like a speeding bullet? And as you thought about it, lots of smaller ideas branched out from your first one, creating a full-fledged story in your head? Something you really wanted to share with the world?
Samurai Suicchi is one of those ideas. Samurai Suicchi is translated as Samurai Switch in Japanese.

Samurai Suicchi came to me one night as I was laying in bed. After that, it grew into a full-fledged story. I had found the perfect story. But that wasn't enough. I want art of the Samurai Suicchi characters. At the moment, there are three characters I want drawn.

So please, read ahead! I'm offering big money to have these characters drawn for me. And while you're here, hang out for a while! There's always opportunites to grab yourself some free art for yourself while you're here!

o1 Follow all Gaia TOS. I don't want anything against the rules happening in my thread.
o2 Please post all forms in the thread. It will be deleted if it is PM'd to me. I get enough PM's as is.
o3 If you simply draw me a picture without filling out a form, it's considered a gift. I won't pay you unless everything has been discussed and agreed to ahead of time.
o4 Please don't flame me if I don't buy from you! I'm not really that picky, but the thing is, I have very limited funds. I'm not a money making machine. I like to make sure my money is spent well, and I'd much rather buy five nice-priced, very well drawn and colored pictures, than fifty rough sketches. So don't be offended, me refusing your offer doesn't mean I hate your art. ^^
o5 I don't do auctions. Ever. So don't link me to them.
o6 Only link me to your shop if there is an open slot or if it looks like I can actually afford your art. If my funds are only 10k, don't send me links to a shop where the cheapest you sell for is 100k.
o7 Actually, don't post a form if my funds aren't going to be able to pay for your art. I hate to be tempted to sell or beg and such. So please only post a form if my funds look like they can pay for your art.
o8 I won't price your art for you. Simple as that. D<
o9 Trades won't be completed until I see at least a preview of my art.
1o Do not steal these pictures, and do not steal these characters! My favorite OC was drawn for me and then her name edited out of a picture and claimed as another persons character, and ever since then, I've had to warn people against stealing characters. And stealing art is just dumb. You WILL be caught.

If you want me to buy your art, you have to follow the instructions on how to ask me. If you don't fill out the form or you do something wrong, you'll be asked to correct your mistake. If you insist on doing it your way, you will be ignored, and I will not buy your art, no matter how pretty it is.

o1 Read over all of the rules and commissioning information, to make sure you do not miss anything. Don't worry there's no hidden secret like "Tell me your favorite color is olive green." or anything like that. Read the rules anyways.
o2 Choose the character(s) you want to draw, and fill out the form located at the bottom of this post.
o3 Most likely I will answer you in this thread if I want to buy art from you. So if you're that interested in drawing it, you better check back to make sure I haven't responded. I will not ignore you. If I want to buy art from you I'll send you the trade after I tell you so, and we'll work out the details of the commission.
o4 You draw the picture, and I would prefer it if you showed me a sketch so I can correct you if you have any details wrong, or ask you to fix something.

First, a little history on the main character of Samurai Suicchi, Seiko Ishikawa. Or as you'll grow to know her as you read this thread, Makoto, the Samurai Suicchi.

Seiko Ishikawa was born in Kyoto in the late Azuchi-Momoyama period, in 1596. She was the only child of a Samurai family, her father a dedicated Samurai, her mother a doctor. One cannot say that it was her family or ill occurances in her life that lead her to do what she would do later in life, seeing as she lived a decent life. She used to sit outside as a child, watching her father training. It was always fascinating to her how such a beautiful thing as a sword could bring so much destruction and through that destruction... Peace.

It wasn't long before her father realized Seiko's interest in the ways of the Samurai. He taught her to fight, training her behind her mothers back, Seiko always pretending that she had interest only in her mother teaching her about herbs and such, to also become a doctor one day. Her father trained her body, taught her the ways of the Samurai, even though she was still a child. When she was thirteen, her mother discovered these secret teachings, and put an end to them.

Of course, that never stopped her. She would often go off and train alone, or sometimes go along with her father somewhere where they could train in privacy.

But when Seiko was fifteen, her parents died. It wasn't terribly tragic, however. Although her father did not get the honor he had always dreamed of, to die in battle. They both died, a few months apart, of Leprosy.

Seiko continued her training until she was twenty-one. One the night of her twenty-first birthday, she put on her fathers kimono and hakama, picked up his katana and wakizashi, and tied a piece of gray cloth over her eyes, with slits for eyes. She packed up some of her mothers more beautiful kimonos, and snuck aboard a cargo ship headed for Edo (modern day Tokyo).

It was now the year 1617, and Japan had entered the Edo Period. Seiko, using the small fortune her parents had left behind when they passed on, purchased a small home in Edo under the name of Maeko Yamamoto, posing as a doctor, as her mother had been.

But by night, she was not Seiko Ishikawa. She was not Maeko Yamamoto. She was Makoto, the Samurai. A male samurai impersonator, serving under the Tokugawa Shogunate.

That brief (haha) history of Seiko Ishikawa brings me to this. At the moment, I am looking for art of Makoto and Maeko, as well as a few other characters. The next three posts have information on the individual characters that I would like drawn.

Name: Makoto (No last name. Uses fake last names as a coverup for her lack of one.)
Age: Claims to be twenty-six, but in reality is twenty-one.
Sex: Female, although she poses as a male.
Status: Single, not looking. Although Sukey fancies her.
Ethnicity: Japanese
Appearance: Short, messy brown-black hair. Sticks up in little tufts around her head. Almost spiky, but not exactly. Dark green eyes, thin, almost sad looking, but certainly not angry. Tan flesh. No tattoos, piercings, or visible scars. Her kimono is dark gray, and her hakama (the pants worn over her kimono) are white. White tabi (socks seperated between the big toe and other toes) and brown zori (sandals).
Personality: She is most often very quiet and shy. She will not speak much, mostly keeps to herself. However, this is only so that she is not discovered. She is very forceful when she has to, and while is good at keeping her cool, it is unwise to cross her. When she speaks she speaks in a low voice, and it is very few words. Smiles are hard to come across for her, so she often comes off as a depressed character, when in reality, she has nothing to be overly upset about.
Extra: I would really like to see her wearing her mask. It's a simple piece of cloth torn off from an old kimono the same color as the one she wears, tied over her eyes and with slits cut for the eyes, to conceal her face. That, and pictures with her holding/using her katana and/or wakizashi (like a shorter katana). But these are optional to draw in. Please don't make her hair or eyes or skin any different than described. She does not have long hair or blue eyes or whatever. It is important that is kept the same. Even more important is that the color of her clothing is kept the same. Her kimono and hakama were her fathers, and she would never wear any other. And please, do not make her happy and cheerful and dorky, because that is not her personality.

Pose Ideas: Perhaps she could be sitting under a tree, looking thoughtfully out at nothing. Also having her in an action pose, such as jumping through the air swinging her katana, would be nice. Another idea could be her sitting on the roof of her home, staring at the moon at night. Those are just a few, and if you have any ideas, go ahead and try them! You're not limited to just those ones!
Couple/Group Pictures: A cute idea would be to have Sukey (bio a few posts down) with her, perhaps them talking, or walking together, most likely with Makoto looking dreadfully uncomfortable. Sukey thinks that she's a man, so Makoto would HAVE to be wearing her mask. Another idea would be Makoto and Maeko (Makoto's other identity) together, maybe holding hands, or sitting back to back. Another fun one would be Makoto, Maeko, and Sukey all sitting together. Again, have fun with this! Makoto would never be in a romantic picture, however, unless it was a suprise kiss from Sukey. Funny pictures of her and Sukey are fantastic, with Makoto all freaked out and such. xD

I am wanting to buy a special picture of Makoto and Sukey! But I am only looking for a full body CG (actual full body, from head to toe), preferably soft cell shaded, but if not, let me see your art anyways. Looking for both good lineart and coloring skills for this picture. If you are interested, fill out the form and state that you are interested in drawing the special Makoto x Sukey picture!

Age: Twenty-One.
Sex: Female.
Status: Single.
Ethnicity: Japanese
Appearance: Short, black-brown hair. Exactly like Makoto (her other identity), except neater. Often she will wear a pretty hair piece. Dark green eyes, thin, almost sad looking, but certainly not angry. Tan flesh. No tattoos, piercings, or visible scars. She wears a variety of kimono's, be creative with this! Most are made of very pretty fabrics, although she DOES own some plainer ones. Experiment. Draw her in greens and purples, because those are her favorite colors to wear. But draw her in different kimono's. ^^ White tabi (socks seperated between the big toe and other toes) and brown zori (sandals).
Personality: Unlike Makoto, she's less shy and more happy looking. Light-hearted and soft, caring. She still does not speak much, but definately more than Makoto. She's less secretive about things, however she still never lets people know who she really is. She's generally a happy person. And polite, as well.
Extra: Draw her smiling. She's pretty like that. :3 You could draw her with herbs in her hands, seeing as she is a doctor. There's really no optional clothing or accessories, however. But also think about how not only is she a doctor, but she is helping Sukey to become one herself.

Pose Ideas: You could draw her with herbs and bandages, if you wished. Or maybe sitting under a cherry blossom tree in mid-summer in a bright-colored yukata. ^^ Be imaginative!
Couple/Group Pictures: There are no couple pictures, but she could be with Sukey, perhaps, seeing as she is teaching her about becoming a doctor. Draw them together being well, doctors! xD Or maybe it's just a nice day out having a picnic or something. Again, you could draw her holding hands or sitting with Makoto, maybe back to back, or with both Makoto and Sukey.

Age: Twenty.
Sex: Female.
Status: Single, although she fancies Makoto, thinking she's a man.
Ethnicity: Japanese
Appearance: Vibrant red hair,about shoulder-length. Almost always wears it mostly down with a small bit put into a ponytail atop her head (Not sticking up all weird!), and a pretty hair piece. Flesh is tan, with some freckles over her nose and upper cheeks. Her eyes are a happy blue color. She wears mostly pretty kimono's and yukata's, in colors that look very summer-y. She especially likes wearing pinks and greens. Again, have fun with her clothing style! ^^ Draw her in different kimono's. :3 White tabi (socks seperated between the big toe and other toes) and brown zori (sandals).
Personality: Sukey is... The ditzy blonde character in the story. She's always cheerful and happy, even though she knows when to be serious. Being happy often helps when dealing with patients because her cheerfulness is contagious. It's quite hard not to be happy around her! ^^ She feels as though she's falling for Makoto, after meeting "him" several times wandering around "Maeko's" house. This can be easily put into some of her pictures.
Extra: None, really. Although it'd be preffered if she were drawn happy. She's not one to cry much. Chibi would be so much fun! ^^
