Name: Crocodile
Nicknames: None yet
Species: Salt-water Crocodile
Personality:
Despite the fact that this lounge lizard generally keeps to himself, sunbathing on the banks of his home, he is quite articulate with words (accented as they are). He brings up a façade of good humor when speaking to others (generally meals), weaving lies and bending truths to twist things into his favor if needed. However, he has little patience when things don’t go his way and is prone to using violence as the answer for the problems he can’t solve with words. He is also very vindictive and does not forgive very easily.
Crocodile can be friendly, all cons aside, and generally is to begin with. He is loyal if befriended, and usually tries to pay off his debts. All in all, he’s a bit rough around the edges, and whether or not he will use his ‘talents’ for good or total evil all depend on the alliances that are formed with him and vice-versa.
History: Crocodile was not born anywhere near the shores of Cantumwood, but on an island across the sea. However, when he was only a hatchling, he and his siblings (numbering fifty-four in total) were scooped into the mouths of their parents and carried across the vast sea. Crocodile has no memory of this passage, nor of his homeland, only that for some time he was huddled among his many brethren in a crowded space. He was one of the few that survived the journey in his father’s jaws, nearly starving to death and being one of the lucky ones that were not eaten by this parent on the way.
In Cantumwood he was left to fend for himself in the waters of the marshes among the other swamp life and was put to the test by law of natural selection. For this, Crocodile has grown to be very aggressive when threatened, as a natural response. He has also become very self-centered, looking out for ‘number one’ first when it comes to most of his decisions. Even when it comes to helping others he is looking for his own personal gain, subconsciously or not.
