5. You may buy for someone else, but then you can't buy one for yourself.

6. One per customer.

7. Payment MUST be sent within 24 hours of winning the flatsale. If you fail to do so, the Novice/Monster will go up for sale again.

Auction Rules:

1. Each bid must increase by at least the minimum increment posted.

2. No auction snipping. No new bids will be taken an hour before the auction ends.

3. Do not discourage anyone from bidding or anything of that ilk.

4. The auction does not begin until either Haruna Rei or Midori-chan posts the word GO!.

5. Payment must be sent within 24 hours of winning the auction. If you fail to do so, the winnings in question will be given to the second highest bidder.


Ownership Rules:

1. You must post in the thread at least once a month so we know you are alive.

2. If you know you're going on hiatus, PM Haruna Rei and tell us so.

Failure to be active in the guild thread or going on unannounced hiatus will result in your pets being suspended.

3. If you want your pet to grow, post in RPs regularly.


FAQ
1. How many monsters/novices can I own?
You can have as many as you can handle. Only one may be bought per flatsale for the sake of fairness, however.

All worlds flow along a single strand--time. No matter where you came from or where you're going, your destiny is already set. Are you ready to take control of it, or will it consume you?

Look at this, another brave soul has decided to take on this new adventure. Look here, novice, and listen well. The world will open up for you here. Can you sense this aura that extends over everything? Don't worry, although it is an uncomfortable feeling, you'll soon get used to it. This feeling is from the monsters that roam freely over this land.

What's that? Don't you even know where you are? Silly, you're in Rune-Midgards. Don't ask where that is, because I'm not going to answer you.

...I see. Well, there's no helping it if you're disoriented. Dimensional movement tends to do that to a body. Most Novices are born here, but I'm allowing a select few from Gaia through to experience this journey. But that's what we're not talking about, is it?

Are you paying attention to what's going on around you? There are creatures all around us, minding their own business. Don't be fooled, those are most decidedly not animals. Those are sentient beings that are fighting with humans for dominion over this land. We call them monsters, but you can call them whatever you like. I don't care either way. I let you down here because these monsters aren't volatile.

Even someone inexperienced with weaponry can kill these things. Of course, it's hard to kill a creature that's done nothing to you, isn't it? Well, I can understand that. They're only docile because a leader isn't among them. If one arises, they move against any and all humans in range. That changes the situation quite a bit, doesn't it? But don't worry, even if a leader does appear, they can do nothing to while I'm still here.

Now stand and take your knife in hand. You have a guard to defend with, and potions to heal with. You won't get stronger if you don't fight. This is your life we're talking about here, so dont' take it lightly. Fight on, Novice, until you become strong enough to see what path in life you wish to take. We will talk again at that time. Until then...farewell.

Novices are RP-optional pets with four possible stages. RP is required to move from one stage to the next, however.

First Stage:
Each Novice is a bundle full of opportunity and talent. From this child, you get to choose what path in life he or she will take.

Novices should be around age 10-13.

In order to advance to the next stage of development, the following requirements must be met:
2 months as a novice.
Active RPing.
4 journal entries

Remember, you can take your time doing this. This does NOT need to be done within two months.


Examples:








Second Stage:
The Novice's talents are becoming apparent, and it's time to choose a job!
Available second stage classes are: Swordsman, Mage, Acolyte, Thief, Archer, Merchant, Taekwon, Ninja, or Gunslinger.

Second stage should be around age 14-21.

Third Stage:

After a period of careful growth and intensive training, you will be able to finally ascend to the third stage. They are as follows:

Swordsman: Knight or Crusader
Mage: Wizard or Sage
Acolyte: Priest or Monk
Thief: Rogue or Assassin
Archer: Hunter or Dancer(female) and Bard(male)
Merchant: Alchemist or Blacksmith.
Taekwon: Taekwon Master or Soul Linker.
Third stage classes should be about age 22 and older.

Each class has its own area of expertise, strengths, and weaknesses.


Fourth Stage:
It is indeed an accomplishment to achieve the fourth and final stage of development. These individuals embody perfection within their discipline. Their strength may even beyond the scope of a normal human. Fourth stage classes are:

Knight->Lord Knight
Crusader -> Paladin
Wizard -> High Wizard
Sage -> Professor
Priest -> High Priest
Monk-> Champion
Rogue -> Stalker
Assassin -> Assassin Cross (SinX for short)
Hunter -> Sniper
Dancer -> Gypsy
Bard -> Minstrel
Alchemist -> Biochemist
Blacksmith -> Whitesmith

These pets are RP optional; if you want them to grow, then you'll need to RP, however, the pet won't be taken away should you decide not to. Please, be sure to abide by all activity requirements.

I encourage RPing in the shop thread and there is also an RP subforum in the guild.

Customs are available should you decide you'd like one.

Monsters can not be customized or ordered through customs!

A hair color change or a new hairdo that you've seen on another novice: 700g.

The rest of these are approximations of the price:
Original hairdo: 10k per stage
Altered colors: 10k per stage
A lineart edit: 50k per stage
A completely new lineart: 100k+ per stage.
The lineart price will depend on how difficult the pose and costume are. All of these will be done as CG works.

Note: Fourth Stage Customs are not available!
Or rather, you'd have to bribe the hell out of me to get one...

If you want a vector piece done...we'll have to talk about price. Vector images are a much higher quality than anything Photoshop can spit out, but they also take at least five times longer.
