'Ello and welcome to my OC art request thread. Here I will be commissioning artists as well as taking art trades. For the most part, I will be paying via gaian gold/items. Though, if I really really love your art, IRL commission is also a possibility. Okay! On to the good stuff!

Basically, I am very interested in fullbody pictures of my OCs in fighting stances or containing lots of action. I love artists who are aware of what colors look good together, and how to blend it all together nicely. Although, a nicely done piece of crisp lineart is equally loved. I am mostly looking for anime realism for my OCs, but I will commission other types of art if the style/price is right.

Below is a list of what I am interested in.

I like:
-Anime realism
-Soft shading
-Extremely well done cel shading
-Dynamic angles
-Battle stances
-Creativity
-Careful color selection
-Nice proportions
-Attention to detail
-Neatness(and sketchy-ness when done right)
-Fullbodies

I do NOT like it when an artist doesn't know what they're doing, may it be bad color combination or funky proportions @_@ I also hate it when artists abuse effect brushes...

I don't like:
-Ugly colors(cyan, anyone? O_< wink
-Boring poses
-Sparkles/Effect brushes
-Overly cute, unless for chibi
-Eyes covering 9/10 of the face
-Huge mistakes(My OCs are all fairly simple =_=)

My oldest and most dearest OC <33 I am mostly looking for art of this little pretty boy. If you want to do art of Maro, I am expecting that you are pretty good at drawing flowy hair, skinny male bodies, and pretty faces xD

Age:17
Gender:Male
Height:5'8"
Weight:Fail looking build. Quite thin.
Appearance:
Maro is hard to miss in a crowd, and even harder to identify when it comes to gender. His long silver locks are usually found tied in a loose ponytail extending down to his waist. Innocent turqoise eyes possess girlish charm, yet still quite solid and determined looking. His skin is fair, though he does tan quite easily.
His clothing mirrors the philosophy of "form follows function". A fighter who depends on his agility and dexterity over strength, his clothes must allow him to move quickly. Usually he wears a simple black sleeveless shirt as well as black pants, neither loose nor skin tight, they provide the perfect amount of resistance. Over his black ensemble, drapes a scarlet robe, though very luxurious looking, it is light and versatile. The bottom of the robe looks tattered, as if torn off in a series of fights. The cuffs of his robe bare strange celtic markings in gold.
Weaponry, Armoury, Accessories:He carries only one weapon with him, a crecent shaped blade attached to a chain. It had taken him years of hard work and more than a few injuries to master the weapon. The movements are unpredictable by enemies, though precisely controlled by Maro.
Character History:Varies. His family includes his mother and father, his big brother Kuri, and little sister Haru.

Try to follow the description more than the referances. I want to see creativity when it comes to the robe, so feel free to do whatever you want with it, as long as it's red, tattered at the bottom, and has celtic symbols on the cuffs. Ref number 1 is very accurate, but that doesn't mean you should base everyone off of it ;3 Number two is also very accurate : D Number 3, I love that pose! I LOVE PERSPECTIVE STUFF!!! Number 4 is exactly right with Maro's body type, long and skinny.

Callisto is my not-so-little girl. When she is being drawn, I could love a moon in the background, or even a wolf next to her. The clothing is simple, but please try to be creative. I don't want a hobo-looking girl =_=;; If you would like to draw Callisto, I expect you to be good at drawing athletic looking bodies. The biggest thing about Callisto is that she is NOT a stick. Also, I expect you to be able to draw fierce looking eyes xD

Name:Callisto Mahina
Age:21(rough estimate)
Gender:Female
Height:5'7"
Weight:135lbs.
Appearance:
Chestnut hair falls to her shoulders in dishelved layers, often left unbrushed and however it looked the in the morning. Her deep blue eyes are dominating, and tend to follow her subjects closely. She almost never breaks eye contact with whomever she is talking to, or listening to. Her skin is weathered and tanned, her hands and feet are rough and calloused. She has the body of a trained athlete, as well as the skills. She nevar opts to wear much, prefering the least amount of clothes possible. Though, this is simply due to habit, and nothing else. She has superior senses, as compared to other people.
Weaponry, Armoury, Accessories: Callisto grew up using her body as her deadliest weapon.
Fighting Style: Like an animal. Desperate and vicious when cornered.
Character History:
Her history before the date of her discovery remains a mystery. Presumably abandoned at birth by her parents, Callisto was raised by wolves, until a hunter discovered the child running with her pack. She was captured and taken to civilization, at the estimated age of 8. At first, she refused captivity, gnashing and biting at anyone who would come close to her. After her first month in captivity, she sunk into depression from isolation, and suffered from common diseases that she had never before been exposed to in the wild. Weakened and on the verge of death, her captors were finally able to take a close look at her. They had found that her teeth were abnormally sharp, her hands and feet were worn from overuse, and that she had limited reaction to extreme weather conditions. Callisto was hospitalized, in hopes that she would recover and that scientists would be able to do further studies and rehabilitate her into society.

After 3 months, her strength came back, though now she was more trusting of the humans that had fed and cleaned her while she was ill, though she trusted those humans only. A man by the name of Kuri Meuse was introduced to the girl to be her personal guide. He was to take care of her, and "make her human". Callisto was reluctant, even violent at some point, to accept the stranger. Though, with time, Callisto came to trust him.

Her first year with Kuri, she learned to walk on two legs. Though, when faced with a dire situation, she still reverted back to four legs. She was also taught to eat properly, and she was able to eat cooked food, though she still prefered raw meat. She learned to take baths, to use the bathroom, everything that normal children learn early on in life.

Next, Callisto was to learn to read, write, and speak. After one year with Kuri, Callisto had gained an understanding for spoken word, and had even used a few. This stage of the proccess had taken up five years, during which she learned to speak correctly, with an understandable amount of grammar mistakes. Quickly following her grasp of the spoken language, she was able to learn to read and write fairly quickly.

Finally ready to face society, Callisto's background was kept safetly from the grasps of the public, and she was soon adopted by the Mr. and Mrs. Mahina. Her adoptive parents knew nothing of Callisto's past, even her weekly visits to Kuri Meuse were classified as doctors visits because of an "internal ailment".

Again, more to come. D: Not much more, because I haven't been able to get much art of Callisto, yet. The first referance is accurate in the face. I can't draw athletic bodies and the clothing isn't to my liking. OKAY, so I suck at drawing my own OCs... The second one is more chibi than I would normally go for, but I really like this. The skin should be darker, but the hair is correct. Also, do not draw her clothes like this! I want Callisto in different type of clothes!! I don't want her to have a fixed outfit!!!
