o. Mentor Flatsale and Raffle soon! Keep an eye out for updates! <3

o. First flatsale over! It was a major success! Congrats to the new owners of the Dande flatsale cubs! <3 We should have a guild set up soon. ^w^ <3

Dande... a paradise, or a living hell?


Dande is a hidden land. Covered in jungle and swarming with beautiful animals, Dande is also a strange place.
The animals of Dande are significantly different to animals of Earth, for they have all been fused with plants. Maybe this is why the land of Dande is kept so natural, so clean and pristene... those who are fused with plants care for wild-flowers like they are cousins. And in Dande, the trees speak back.

But Dande is a young country. And it certainly has not earned any immunity to any sort of forcoming evil.

Disease... human-tainted lands ... pollution ... corruption... war...

If Dande was exposed to such things, there's no knowing what damage could be done.

The tale of Dande follows a pride of lions, all native creatures of Dande. These lions have also been born as plant-life and reign supreme over the lands.
As the guardians of the jungles, the lions work together to protect Dande. However, not all of these lions feel the same way about the lands. Some want to rule Dande with an iron fist, the others strive for harmony. Some wish to create a jungle where the strong pick off the weak, some wish to live a life of equality.


Enter a complex prophecy, plot twists and a heck of a lotta' lion drama, and you've got yourself the story of 'Dande'.

No fighting.
Disputes not related to the store should be taken outside the thread. Disputes related to the store will still not be tolerated. Please be reasonable and respectful to others.

No direct linking. It's just not nice.

Do not beg.
Sorry, but if you want a free Dande Lion, you'll need to lurk about... colourists here MAY or MAY NOT give away free Dande from time to time. Also, be on the lookout for events and auctions. Random beggars will not get free Dande.

Godmoding is EVIL.
While roleplaying, please do not make your character superior to everyone else's. Be fair. Your character is not the strongest of all, unless everyone agrees to it. Also, roleplay realistically... these lions cannot rip down trees or anything of the like, unless they are small trees. xD

Roleplaying other people's pets is a no-no.

You cannot roleplay a character if you have not received a Dande.
You'll need to have a Dande in order to play one. You cannot make up a character and play it straight away... first, you'll need to have it as a Dande or Flione (Dande Mini).

[Q] How many Dande Lions may I own?
[A] As many as your heart desires! However, there will be newbie flatsales and other events around, to give newbies a fair chance in scoring a Dande Lion for themselves. Apart from that, you may gather up as many Dande Lions as you would like. Same goes for their familiars, the 'Flione'.

[Q] How do you pronounce 'Dande'?
[A] 'Dan-deh'. At least, that's how Kinrei says it. xD
Maus, on the other hand, says "Dawn-day". ;D
How you pronounce it is entirely up to you. As long as it's spelt correctly. ;D

[Q] Are these pets 'roleplay required'?
[A] No. You may choose not to roleplay these pets. It's entirely up to you. However, roleplayers get many benefits (free pets, more chances of breeding, more love from the staff). It's a good idea to roleplay if you want to get into the 'Dande' world, or collect more Dande. xD

[Q]Where do we roleplay our pets?
[A] You may make roleplay threads in the guild, or have in-thread RPs. It's really up to you. Remember to keep a record of your roleplays.

[Q]Is co-owning allowed?
[A] This rule could be changed in the future, but now it is not possible to co-own a pet.

[Q]Do we save to our own server or direct link?
[A] Save to your own server for each stage. No direct linking, please.

[Q]How do we buy customs?
[A] See Page Two for customs information.

[Q]May we have a pet trade?
[A] Well, yes, if there are enough colourists avaliable. See Page Two for Pet Trade information.

[Q]I have some questions about breeding...
[A] Please go to Page Two for Breeding Information. Otherwise, post your question in the thread and we'll do our best to answer it for you.

[Q]What kind of creatures live in Dande?
[A] Currently, only Dande Lions and Fliones. However, more animals may be coming in the future...

[Q]This layout hurts my eyes. Can you change it?
[A] Soon, soon. We're trying to get a green and orange, bright layout that's much more calming for the eyes. Until then... please just cope with this one. ^^; Sorry for giving you bad eyesight!

Female Cub:
Young females cubs are raised to become a lioness by an older mentor. Their personalities depend on the lion they are inside, however... it's safe to say that most are very adventurous and playful at this age.
Young cubs are good prey for forest carnivores, so parents are advised to keep a close eye on them.


Female Teen:
They're on their way to becoming a lioness, but they're not quite there yet! Often much more stubborn and headstrong than cubs, teens are beginning to find their place in the world. Some take intense training to become a fully-fledged lioness. Some, however, search for more than that...


Female Lioness (Adult):
At last, your lion has become a lioness. With adulthood comes many things... responsibilites, independency and honour. Your lioness can now find a soul-mate and breed to raise cubs of their own. They can also become a mentor, or even lead their own pride if their hearts are strong enough.

Male Cub:
Male cubs sometimes have it rough. They, too, are playful and adventurous during their youth... however, the stress for a 'King of the Jungle' pushes many parents to raise their cubs harshly, in hope of their children one day claiming this title for themselves.



Male Teen:
He's growing up! A mane is starting to grow on the not-so-little-one. Male teens usually have rather scruffy faces at this stage. However, this scruff will soon form into a magnificent mane.
Confidence is rising in the teens, as they leap toward adulthood.



Male Lion (adult):
Aaah! Finally, a king has emerged. Or has he? Lions at this stage all want to prove themselves as one of the rightful Kings of Dande.
Lions are also stronger than before. They can mate and raise cubs, lead prides and strive to become a legendary King.


Growing up is all part of the journey in Dande.

Flatsales:

Here at Dande, we do flatsales three seperate ways. There's a 'speed flatsale' (fastest finger first), a 'roleplay contest flatsale' (submitting a written entry in hopes of scoring the Dande on offer), and also a 'raffle flatsale' (reserving a raffle 'ticket' for yourself in a flat, and winning a Dande if your ticket number is randomised).

However, there are a few points you should remember if trying in a flatsale:


• All Dande cubs are 4k each. After purchase, please send the trade to the Dand3 mule.
• You may proxy for another person, but this means giving up your own chance.
• You can purchase only 1 Dande cub each flatsale.
• Instructions on the flatsale will be posted just before the sale begins. Please read and follow these intructions... it's very important that you understand how to participate in the sales.

Dande is throwing it's second flatsale! We've already had one before, and we'll be having another... only, this time, with adults (and one teen) up for grabs. You will be able to buy your very own Adult Dande Lion! Please follow the flatsale rules as shown above. This flatsale will be speed-based, running on a first come, first serve basis.

The flatsale will be announced, using the thread title, and there will be ten minutes of time to gather as many interested people as possible. At five minutes to the flatsale, there will be a 'SILENCE, PLEASE' post. After this post, posting is not, in any way, permittable. When the five minutes has passed, and everyone is prepared, a big "GO" will be posted on the Dand3 mule, along with the pictures of the Dande on sale.

You may only claim one Dande per flatsale. You may only try for one cub per post (eg. No "I want Dande A first, and if she's taken, I'd like Dande B). One post per cub. I can't stress this enough.


To claim a Dande, simply post the letter of the Dande (eg. If you want to claim Dande D, post: "DANDE D" or just "D" wink . You can find a Dande's letter by looking at the preview chart. The Dande's letters are displayed underneath their bellies.

Dande Lions usually have a home in 'prides', groups of lions who live together. This way, they form tight bonds, have their own beliefs, values and style. Not all Dande Lions belong to a pride, however... 'rogues', those who belong with no pride, can travel between the lands, until they find a pride they wish to join.




Alizeti Lion Pride:

The Alizeti Pride is one of the most powerful prides in the land of Dande. The King and Queen, 'Aziza' and 'Zarek', rule over this pride warmly, but are usually very suspicious of strangers. It takes time to earn the trust of the Alizeti's, and many new-comers must go through a series of tests to prove their loyalty.
The Alizeti territory is situated in the Jungle... here, water is plentiful, and the grounds are abundant in plantlife. The area is shady, and the trees overhead protect the Alizeti's from the hot Dande sun. The soil is also rich and fertile. It is no wonder than many other prides envy the Alizeti for their prideland paradise.
When night approaches, the Alizeti Lions sleep together in one large stone den. The pride's main value is 'loyalty'. Any newcomers to the pride whom have not yet proved their loyalty are forced to sleep under the watchful eyes of Pride Warriors.
