Flatsale Information




Please read ALL the rules at the shop, and if you have questions, feel free to ask them there. If you are going to be trying for a velvet, please try to make sure you have the time and energy to show it all the love you can.

Basically...because Naraka and Iris are so different... for judging they will each pick two favorites, and will draw that plushie. After that, they rotate stages, so you get a little bit of each artist as you go throughout the shop.

The dates of flatsales will be CLEARLY and long before posted on the sign in the window. *points to first post* Each flatsale pet will cost 10K.

The flatsales will last 24 hours, and will consist of the following two things

  1. An introduction.

    This is where you tell us about -yourself.- The personalities and animal types available in each flatsale are -not- predetermined...we base them off the winners. Only the gender is known to start off with. We'll try and pick the animal type that would best suit the personality that you have given us...of course, what this also means is that, if you give us a personality that would be more suited to, say...an elephant...that is a bit more creative than if 20 of you post with the intention of getting a cat. Of course, I'm not out to discourage cat-posters.

    We're looking for the best, most creative writers(thus, if you want a cat, you have to be better than the other 19 cat-posts). However, You're more likely to be noticed if you chose something unique to base your personality off of. You don't have to be human, but don't make your character ungodly powerful.

    Note: This can be written ahead of time, before the flatsale even begins. All we're asking here is that you tell us about yourself...how you act on gaia. You -can- mention the type of animal you'd want, but that doesn't guarantee you'll get that. ^^

    Examples of Intros are in the shopkeepers rant sections of the main thread.

  2. A question. The question will be asked at the start of the flatsale, and you must answer it in your post. I'll post the question in the thread and here, on the first page. After it is posted, you'll have 24 hours to submit your introduction and the answer to the question. Please try to keep your entries breif. While it won't automatically be tossed out if it's long, boringly long entries often fall from our favor. It's just a response, not a novel XD

Flatsale Rules



  1. Do not discourage people from entering the flatsale.

  2. Keep angst to a minimum. We've all lost our share of flatsales, just try again.

  3. Please keep the posts in here to JUST entries.. you can talk about other stuff in the main thread.

  4. Please read the flatsale info before posting in the flatsale.

  5. All posts before the official STATED flatsale opening will be ignored. As a matter of fact, don't post entries until the mule gives the post.

  6. You can only purchase one velvet from any flatsale. You can enter as many flatsales as you want, but only one entry per flatsale.


  7. Co-owning is not allowed. Exceptions might be made, but don't bet on it.

  8. Editing on your posts are allowed up until the END of the flatsale. Once the flatsale is over, all posting/editing is no longer allowed.
