Imagine yourself drifting through endless golden skies and gliding over sparkling ice blue waters. Great sailing ships dot the surface, charging through the waves like stampeding horses. On the air a whale cries out its haunting song as Sirens join the chorus, luring you lower.

You fall into a watery world, barely able to breath, and sink deeper into its secrets. Here there is life and music. Beautiful creatures that hide from your view, whisper and gasp as you return in a panic to the world above.

As the air fills your lungs, a shore line comes into view. Its luscious plant life sways in the breeze, as the ocean current takes you closer. Woodland, desert, coves, and snow topped peaks litter this land, as do the creatures who reside in it.

There are homes, fortresses, markets and monoliths, armies, families, royalty and peasants. There are Pirates, Sirens, Wolven, and Pyros, Elves, Mermaids, Sorcerers and Warriors… then you think to yourself… what am I?

01/08/06:

I'm back from Peurto Rico and ready to take more custom orders. The Flatsale characters will also be ready soon, so watch the thread for that. wink May have a summer themed auction or raffle also, depending on how busy I get etc. And I'm now 20! AHHHH!!!

15/07/06:

Two new Wolvens have been released into the woods. Watch out for them wont you, they may be hungry. We also have a new elf and a sorcerer about to begin their life in Eadon. :3 heart

12/07/06:

I've opened the Commission slots, but still working on the FS characters. Please check the commission section to see if there are any free slots available. If all three are full then you can PM me, but I won't start work on your piece untill the slots have emptied. :3

Lol! The shops only open for a day and already three custom orders. mrgreen heart I'll start making the first FS pieces. It will consist of a male and female from one of the races (which you will have to wait to find out what) wink Evil I know. twisted Tehehe!

Eadon is a Role Playing based breedables shop, that offers one of a kind characters to play with, a guild, auctions, raffles, events and competitions. It is a myth loving community for all gaians who love to role play or just want to own something special for their signature.

The Role playing forums are free to join, but you may only RP there once you have an Eadon character and are accepted by a moderator.

- Only three characters per owner/Gaia account.
- Stick to the ordinary Gaia rules please.
- NO using artwork/character designs/graphics etc in anyway, unless permission is given. This is known as art theft and will not be tolerated. You will be reported to a Gaiaonline moderator if you are seen doing this, or worse… legal action.
- No harassing other owners/stalkers in the thread. Play nice.
- Do not spam the thread or role playing forum.
- No God moding in the Role Playing Forum.
- Do not beg for a Eadon Character, as your least likely to get one.
- Do not PM padfootspaws with questions, please place them in the thread where other owners and myself can assist you.

Who runs Eadon?: Padfootspaws runs Eadon, and is responsible for all the lineart/concept/banners and cert for this shop. She worked extremely hard on everything, so please refrain from stealing and altering images as well as ideas etc.

What is Eadon?: Eadon is a mythical world set in ancient times. It is more beautiful than one could begin to imagine, and just as dangerous. There are many places in Eadon where certain species reside, please see the ‘World of Eadon’ section for a more detailed description.

How do I get a character?: Please see the ‘Creation’ section of this thread and fill out a form if there are slots available. Thank you.

So I pay for these how?: You can pay with Gaia gold (50K- 50000g), or you can email/PM me for other payment methods. Please PM me for details or see my deviant art gallery.

That’s loads of gold!: It has to be! I put so much work into these and don’t want to be swamped with orders if my prices are too cheap. It usually takes me 4 hours and 30 minutes to complete a Eadon character, and that’s if I don’t come into any trouble/crashing etc. Please respect my prices and don’t beg for a cheaper option. I will have raffles and competitions so please be patient if you cannot afford one right away.

Will you accept items?: I will but only if the items make up the price of 50K or over.

Do I have to Role Play my Eadon character?: I would love it if you did as this is what they are designed for, but I understand that real life comes first and you may just want one to decorate your signature, which is fine.

Where do I Role Play?: You can role play your character in the thread or in the Eadon Guild (soon to be created).

Can my character have super powers?: Only mermaids, elves, pyros and sirens have powers. There can be the odd human or wolven who has powers, but this will be up to myself and be extremely rare. DO NOT RP POWERS YOUR CHARACTER DOES NOT HAVE! If you are caught doing this you shall be cautioned.

Can my character breed?: Yes but please PM me and let me know what’s going on. Breeding between species is fine. Breeding will cost 100K as I’d like to keep it a rare occurrence.

Can my Wolven be a pirate?: This is possible if a pirate captain allows. This is possible for any of the races except water dwellers. Mermaids can leave the ocean of Covetina as they can walk on land, but others cannot breath underwater.

NEW - Can I have a male Siren?: You'll need to discuss this with me via PM or in the thread, as I'd like to keep male Siren's to a minimum. They are a rare occurance in the species as it is mostly a female dominant gene.

Flatsales

All flatsale Eadon characters will be 50K unless indicated otherwise. Please check the thread constantly for news of Flatsales.

Here's how they work:

When the FS is opened and you have read and understand the rules, you can paste this form and fill in the details. First come first serve, but do not alter your posts.

Other than FS and auctions you can get your very own custom made Eadon character. These will be made to your specific design and cost a little extra.

-Cost-

Custom Eadons will cost you 100K, or alternatively you can pay me in other ways see my website for more details. If you want something really special (like a god etc. I may charge a little more), just to keep them rare.

-Reference-

It is extreamly vital that you give me a reference pic or very detailed description of your character before I begin to draw them... or I may get them wrong and getting your character done will take longer.

World of Eadon

Eadon is a huge place with many unexplored places just screaming out adventure, discovery and wonderment! Here are the places that have been mapped so far.

[MAP WILL GO HERE!]

Oriana Forest - Oriana (meaning golden) forest spans for miles across the north of Eadon. It is home to the elves and can swallow you up if you don’t know your way. People have been lost for months in its maze like structure, and some have never returned at all.

Bekoning - A hidden temple in the heart of Oriana Forest. Bekoning is a safe haven for the sorcerers of Eadon. Few people know of or dare to journey to Bekoning. It is a place painted on no maps and if often found by accident by wandering adventurers.

Saradia Desert - The harsh environment means very few people make Saradia their home. Many wars are fought in this barren land, where the bones of warriors can still be found. There are many monsters and ghost towns here, be wary of Pyros (especially if you are human), and war hungry warriors. Saradia Inn is a great place to go if you get lost, but don’t wind up the drunks and cling to your weapons.

Covetina Port - The great port of Covetina is known throughout Eadon as a place of adventure and freedom, but also place of thieves, murderers and foul play. Pirates love nothing better than to drink themselves stupid in the bars and be entertained by beautiful women in the brothels.

Covetina Ocean - Home to the mermaids, fish and monsters of Eadon, Covetina ocean is both beautiful and deadly. Be careful not to puncture your boat on the spire of an underwater cathedral, or annoy the merfolk with their power to brew up a storm.

Cinnia Edge - Cinnia is the beautiful home land of the Sirens. A city that clings to the cliff face and acts as an airport for the Sirens great air ships. A magnificent cultured city with fine buildings and statues galore. The city is protected with a great magic, and a vast and talented army.

There are several races who call Eadon their home, and some that have yet to be discovered. Here are the races that have been discovered and a little information you might need to know.

Warriors:

Usually human, warriors are the life and death of Eadon. They can use their strength and power for peace or to cause war. Both male and female, these people live to protect themselves, others, money and honour. They are decked in armour, weaponry and often bear a coat of arms to represent their leader/tribe etc.

Location: Saradia Desert
Powers: None
Element: Earth

Sorcerers:

It is believed that the sorcerers and Mages of Eadon came to the world when Elves and Humans interbred. The offspring took the appearance of a human but the soul of an elf… not too much is known about this race. There are few sorcerers left in the world now, hunted because they were once feared. It is a sad story to tell. This race tend to keep to themselves, hide their powers and reside with humans or risk it and just be open about it. There is a fine line between good and evil here, but it is up to the sorcerer how they use their gifts.

Elves:

The oldest race of Eadon, elves are intelligent and beautiful creatures who can outlive most of the Eadon races. They are at one with Eadon and no war or ruler ship goes through without their judgement. Their powers are elemental and they are much stronger and controlled with magic than sorcerers. Silent and wise, this race sticks to their own and have recently begun to despise human kind, in particular pirates. Elves can live to be 2000 years old and still look 25. For the meantime elves rule Eadon, despite what man thinks.

Mermaids:

Lords of the ocean waves! Eadon mermaids are rarely seen by humans, except for the drunken pirate who swore he did once. These beings keep to themselves and can only really communicate with other mermaids, sea creatures and elves. Mermaids despise Sirens with a passion… why… nobody is really sure why. It could be a rivalry of vanity or singing talent, but a mermaid would drown a siren if they were clever enough to catch one. Not the brightest of creatures, mermaids will rescue sailors and take them home… not really understanding why they go blue in the face and die. At least the pet shark gets fed. Mermaids take the appearance of many different fish, and are able to walk out of water (which is why nobody knows they exist… except the elves of course). Mermaid hair grows at five times the rate of that of a human.

Powers: Water themed
Element: Water

Pirates:

YAHAR! Pirates! The scoundrels of the sea, and for good reason. Why buy stuff when you can pillage it? That is the Eadon pirate motto. These scaly wags are adventure lovers who live for adrenalin filled battles and rough seas. They have no ties with any other races due to being feared and hated by most of them. When not at sea pirates can be found hanging around the taverns and brothel houses of Covetina port, or tormenting the Sirens at Cinnia Edge. With no powers and no friends its no surprise that these guys are out for themselves. Pirates take no prisoners, but would sooner torture and maim than kill. Their weaknesses are beautiful women, sirens and intelligence.

Sirens:

An evolving race, Sirens once had the ability to fly but since creating machines to do that for them their wings have shrunk and become more of a hindrance. They are no longer covered head to toe in feathers, but sprout the odd one here and there. Annoyingly if a siren attempts to remove their wings they will grow right back again. As with the mermaids Sirens are extremely vain and use their beauty as a weapon. They are a very intelligent race who are gifted in architecture, the arts, science… you name it really. One of the late rulers of Cinnia Edge (where the sirens live) designed a flying sailing ship that defies the laws of physics and completely changed the way Eadon looked at transport, the same woman also went on to create a youth elixir that makes you appear 26 years younger. Sirens converse with most races, but still have the urge to lure sailors to their doom… its just a habit.

Wolven:

The wolven stalk, the wolven unsheathe, the wolven kill, their prey upon the heath. A race even mermaids believe to be a myth. People who see a wolven don’t usually live to tell anyone about it, but somebody must have or how would I know? Wolven are carnivorous and eat to live, so if you get in their way and they are hungry you better leg it! They stick to their own and live and hunt in packs of two to seven. Unable to communicate with other races it is rather difficult to befriend a wolven, but they can be tamed and make great hunting aids. It is believed that the sirens and elves worked together in their experimentation with crossing species, and this was the result. It is uncertain weather or not the experiments have ceased and which animal/human could appear next. A wolven will never leave its pack but an alpha male may fight for the females of another rival pack.

Pyros:

Pyros are few and fair between. They are an ancient race of desert people with the ability to create fire in the palm of their hands. Pyros stick to the desert usually as they avoid the coast and ocean like the plague. It is said that if they are totally submerged in water a Pyro would die. Of course, nobody has tried dunking a Pyro so it could all be a myth. Pyros have really dark skin due to their habitat, and their customs require the males to kill a human warrior in order to enter the afterlife. The newer generations of Pyro often rebel and leave their home when faced with this task. It is a complicated system governed by the elders of the race. If a Pyro leaves their village they are exiled and will be killed if they ever return (despite family ties).
