Introduction
Hello and welcome to Thendory, a breedable pet shop where you can own your very own creature.
This shop is owned by kytiico (aka cekx) and Black Kami.
Now you might be curious what a Thendory is, right?
Just read on and look around, maybe they'll fascinate you as much as they fascinate us.

News

July 31st : I'm too lazy to write updates.. But yesterday all the crystals from the first flatsale hatched :3 and I added angelic miniwings today for female and male kids~

July 19th : Whoot, almost everything is done.. I only need to finish the guardians and the breeding information, along with the RPing stuff. The items will be finished later on I guess. Also kami is drawing our angelic guardian of this topic.

July 13th : I added the rules and all lineart&coloration is done. Now I need to finish the map.. the items and other stuff and the shop will be open, soon :3

July 8th : The Thendory Shop was being created.

General Rules
1. Please read all rules in this post.
2. Be nice to everyone who posts here.. this means: no flaming, harrassing or making a nuisance of yourself.
3. For questions please don't pm me instantly, read the FAQ or post here, first.
4. Do not ask for a Thendory when they're not available. No begging! Also do not ask when flatsales are.
5. You do not have to roleplay but it's encouraged and might be rewarded.
6. Direct link your images. It's easier to update them later on for me.
7. No stealing of my art or Black Kamis. No tracing from the lines or whatsoever. You know what I mean.
8. Respect other owners, do not beg for their pet or their pets children.
9. Don't quote long texts.
10. Do not sell your Thendory without permission. This applies for the pups and crystals, too.
11. If required we are free to add or change the rules.
12. Have fun here and don't fear to say Hello here :3

Sales Rules
1. A crystal costs approximately 4k unless stated otherwise.
2. If I or Black Kami say GO in big fat letters you're allowed to post your interest.
3. You may not edit your posts afterwards.
4. Posting interest for others is not allowed.
5. Don't discourage others for trying out.
6. Send all trades to the Thendory account, if you send them to others.. they are donations.
7. You can only request 1 crystal per flatsale.

RP Rules
1. No godlike characters. Thendories might be able to have some special abilities but they have limits.
2. Don't kill other Thendories while rping!
3. Don't ignore newcomers please. We were all new once if you remember so treat them in a friendly way.
4. You don't need a Thendory to rp, you can roleplay yourself, too!
5. If your Thendory does something or talks, please write it in a different color of yours. Choose one and stay with the color ^o^
6. If you write off topic during your rp post, too... write it in small letters like that (( off topic ))

FAQ

Q: I want a Thendory! Dx
A: Please do not beg for one, wait for a flatsale, auction or raffle.

Q: Do you do customs?
A: Later on we might do them via auction, raffle or pet trades.

Q: I want to be staff, please?
A: Sorry, right now we do not need more staff members.

Q: Where can I get a guardian for my pet?
A: You can get them either from a sale or during a roleplay you might be able to find one if staff is around and you're lucky enough..

Q: Can I share a pet with someone else? Co-Own?
A: Yes you can but only 1 person ^^

Q: Are Thendories Roleplay required?
A: No they are not! But you can get lotsa stuff from roleplaying and special stages (anthro) later on.

Q: Person xy has one! Not from a sale,auction or raffle! 3:
A: At special times we are able to give out one for free to a friend or a special lurker.

Q: Direct Linking?
A: Yes of course!

A few months ago, kami and I went on a trip with our yacht. We had always wanted to sail away for some time and thus we bought a very luxury yacht with saved up money...
We didn't want to go to a special place or a beach with lots of tourists, so we went to ... no where. Just shipping around seemed to be more appealing.
Then on a friday afternoon we began our journey. Off to the carribic ocean we went. For days, nothing special was happening. The weather was fine and the ship drove its programmed way. Kami and I saw many tiny islands with beautiful beaches to swim at. Since kami wasn't so happy about the sunny weather she begged for rain often... not knowing that her prays should be heard soon...
Two days later in the middle of nowhere.. the sky was all black. Dark purple clouds were crouding up on the sky and it was almost impossible to see anything out there. I went to kami who was still sleeping. Usually she's the calmer one and not as easly frightened as me. But a loud cracking sound shocked both of us. Hundreds of thunderbolts were lightening up the sky.. and suddenly I fell on the floor. The shop was shaking mad and even kami didn't know what to do now. We both went down to the yacht cabin and hid there. The electricy went out and then...

There will be a story contest for a better story soon!

Common Thendory
These are the common Thendory stages. Will we find more in the future? Who knows...

Information

One Thendory, two Thendories.
Thendories are canine like creatures which hatch out of crystals. Males do have a shoudler height of ca. 3.3 ft, females up to 3.0 ft. Usually they weigh as much as a common wolf. They are known for their two horns. However they are able to loose one from a battle or other stuff. Their back scales and head horns are pretty hard, equal to steel. When it comes to a prefered climate they love the warmth, but are okay with cold weather, too. Thendories are loving pets which can be bitchy at times. They attach to their owner and protect him/her from evil.

Thendories live in packs, similar to wolves they have their own territories. You can find out more about the packs later on in the role playing post.

Packs

As Thendories grow older they usually decide to move to a pack or clan. Those packs are also called Oupher by Thendories as we know from their guardians who are able to translate their barking.
It depends on ones character when it comes to joining a pack. However you can join a very different pack, too if the leader allows it.
Each pack has, as I've already told, a leader. The leader takes care of his clan and chooses the new members. Also they communicate with other packs when it comes to their territories. Sometimes if one wants to rise up they also have to fight against the "wannabe leader".

You can also create your own pack. But then your Thendory needs to prove itself wise enough in a roll dice game against kytiico or kami.

Pack listing:

Enthekal is a strong pack which lives in the north of the island. They are very nature bond. Altough they are so strong, they do not enjoy fighting and prefer to discuss things first.

Some may call the Dyors a bit hotheadded but they are still loveable. Living mostly in the forrests of the south they are hard to be seen. They do not enjoy discussing but enjoy fighting with others. They are not brutal and most of their battles end without injuries.

New Pack
Since there isn't a leader everyone can apply and it does not matter wether they are male or female. The only condition for your Thendory is that it has to be adult. Your condition is that you have to be active and might have to "battle" against upcoming wanna-be leaders.
Every Thendory is given some different status points when they emerge out of their crystals. The status points are usually not visible to owners but I might put up a list online in the future to look over them. Stats can be increased by the correct guardian or by specific items (which we yet have to add).
All applied Thendories now have to randomize depending on their stats which they are told by me.

Example:

A:
Strength: 5-10
Agility: 8-13
Intelligence: 6-11

B:
Strength: 7-12
Agility: 7-12
Intelligence: 8-14

Round 1 - Strength
A: generated a random number between 5 and 10 ... 7!
B: generated a random number between 7 and 12 ... 9!
Round 2 - Agility
A: generated a random number between 8 and 13 ... 8!
B: generated a random number between 7 and 12 ... 10!
Round 3 - Intelligence
A: generated a random number between 6 and 11 ... 9!
B: generated a random number between 8 and 14 ... 9!

So we now add all rolled numbers together... and A: has a sum of 24 and B: has a sum of 28.
This means that B: has won the randomize challenge and is now the first leader of the pack.

Existing Pack
Same dice game but the pack leader has a bonus to every stat +1 if he has been active. If he hasn't been active at all the stats get reduced by 3! You're allowed to challenge a leader when your Thendory is adult since two weeks. If you lost a challenge against the current leader you are allowed to rechallenge him after about 2 weeks.

General Information
So your Thendory is ready to be a mother or a daddy? Here you can read about the process of breeding.

It doesn't matter wether it's spring or winter if you want offsprings. Thendories don't mind the weather much. Usually the pups will have a mixed color from both parents or the markings from the mommy and the colors from their daddy. Sometimes they also look like a copy of a parentside.

However, we charge a breeding fee which can be paid if the slots are open. This means the mother has to pay 5k and the father has to pay 5k.

The offsprings will be posted in this topic under the pick up part. There, the parents are able to take them home. You are allowed to sell off the offsprings but only 1 per person. This means if you're lucky and get 4 crystals, you can sell 2 and keep 2. The eggs will be divided between the mother and the father. You can not trade the crystals for other pets! We can hold a raffle for you or an auction.

Rules

+ Only adults are able to breed. They have to be adult for at least 15 days old.

+ Usually Thendories have only one partner for their whole life.
+ You can breed once every month.

+ Thendories can get two or four crystals per breeding

From left to right: Electric, Earth, Air, Fire

Zyco = Electrical goatlike guardian which increases your pet's agility. Not only that it is able to grant your pet some electrical powers. Not much is known about this little critters since they are kinda rare.

Pandarian = The earthlike bear guardian which offers your pet strength and earth abilities. It's very cuddly and soft and good for pets who are of the lonesome kind.

Raiby = These fluffy little rabbit guardians grant your pet more inteligence and air abilities. They are pretty fast and love to play hide and seek. Often they are shy and very hard to find.

Firen = A fire guardian of which we are not sure yet, what effect it has on your pet. They are very very rare.

Falcon Claw Island

The helicopter fluttering above quickly chops away from the haunting shape that is Falcon Claw Island. Only the brave venture into the gulf and those that do are rewarded with the kingly gift of meeting the native Thendories.

Aside from the Searing Plains, the entire beach meets at a soft kiss with the Emerald Carpet. The rolling field is where most Thendories spend their leisure time. Coated with friendly butterflies and sweet tasting clovers, the Emerald Carpet is the most popular place on the island.

When feeling hungry for something other than butterflies and flowers, the Thendories must search for a good meal. Salty Forest, located closer to ocean edge, is home to the more gangly game. You will only find squirrels, small rodents, and lazy birds lurking in the Forest’s shade. Okay for a small snack, but if the Thendories are looking for a real meal, you’ll find them in the Mountains Shadow. A much thicker, brighter forest, which is filled to the brim with wildlife.

Hunting is not limited to the forests however. Both the Cerulean Pearl and Hawk Eye Lake are home to various fishes, perfect white meat for the Thendories. The sparkling fresh water brought up from the earth is also a cool and refreshing drink for any pup tired from playing on the Carpet all day.

The water in the Cerulean pools runs down the mountain in a river called the Crystal River. Only the elderly of the pack try fishing in the river, as the water is fast and strong, and could carry small pups away.

Smaller pups are also excluded from scaling Crystal Mountain. The difficult terrain forbids them from going any higher then the first couple of feet. Thendories that do take the time to climb the mountain are usually in for a treat, as most guardians spend their time on the mountains cliffs, looking over the rest of the Island.

The only place the Guardians’ watchful eye does not reach is the Searing Plains. A dangerous place for any Thendory, the plain is usually avoided except by Oupher leaders, and sometimes the sad case of a lost puppy. Although not much research has been done about the parched land, as far as we know, there is no reason for any Thendory to try traveling into the Searing Plains. Although… small numbers of Thendories trying to cross the plain have been reported, and recorded. None of which have been seen to come out alive.

I have no idea how I was supposed to do that... but I hope its good. heart

She's the creator of the Thendories and thus she had the idea for them and draw and did the basic shading.
Kytiico counts 20 years and loves drawing, shopping, her boyfriend and of course kami.
