Welcome to the Ramen Kitsune shop, we specialize in finding homes for adorable foxes that happen to come out of ramen packets. Shop rules state that no one may eat any ramen found within the store as it may have the chance to become a full fledged Ramen Kitsune.

Annoucements:

7/13/05 - First Flatsale announced and set for Friday, August 18th 2006. Guest colorists need to have colorings turned into Cinderfae or Merci` by Thursday, August 17th 2006 so they can be certed for the sale.
7/11/06 - Shop front set up.

How the story goes

Late one night in a dark factory on the edge of Gaia, a young girl cursed quietly to herself as she worked on a large production machine. Marcie Day was one of the top mechanics for ramen machine's in all of Gaia; as one can imagine there isn't really much work for one that has such a specific specialization. She had been called to this warehouse on an emergency call and now was working on one of the most difficult ramen machine's she had ever seen. It wasn't that there was extensive damage it was that she couldn't figure out why exactly it wouldn't work. She had already checked numerous cogs, circuits, and other various mechanically named things to see if they were defective and found them all to be in perfect order. As mentioned before this was a machine like no other she had ever seen, so she continued to look, test, and search the thing hoping to find the answer to fixing it among the numerous parts.

Suddenly a slight hum could be heard in the air, she furrowed her brows and looked around. Had that thingamajig she just tapped into place put something in motion? Diving under the machine she followed the noise, trying to stay low so if it aruptly started up she wouldn't be hit by the movements. As she moved the sound gets louder and louder until it was almost directly on top of her, eyes going up she saw a glowing cylinder above her. The mechanic tilted her head while looking at it and with hesitant fingers reached up and pushed the cylinder into place as it appeared to be jiggled loose from it's spot. As it moved into place she could see only one marking on it, near the top was a simple outline of a fox head. "I wonder what company that is -" she idly wondered to herself but her thoughts were cut off as she jumped at hearing the machine start moving. She crawled quickly and moved to the edge of the huge device. Dusting off she stood and and looked over as packages started to come from the machine.

As Marcie watched plain packages of ramen pass by her they looked to be normal but they also had the strange fox head symbol on them. Snagging one as it passed her Marcie carried it with her, might as well get something to eat before she called the owner. Taking a bowl from the shelf she quickly threw the ramen into it before she poured some water over it, and tossed it in the microwave of the office before she looked for the phone book. Her attention was quickly drawn back to the microwave however as sparks started to fly, inside bright colors began to float around the top of the bowl. She quickly hit the stop button and pulled the bowl back out, but whatever had started wasn't going to stop and the magic sparks continued floating in the air while the water and noodles mixed into a multi-colored mess. Using a few choice words that many consider not to be the most civil she hurridly punched in the number to Mr. Smith, the owner of the machine that created the strange noodles. Marcie's eyes got wide as she continued to watch the mess glitter and spark hearing a message on the man's phone... Mr. Smith was gone.

The bowl continued to bubble for two days Marcie walked the length of the factory, every now and then she would eye the machine as it continued to make packages of the stuff. She had no idea what she was going to do but she couldn't just leave the place with no one to watch over it. At the end of her second day of wandering Marcie returned to the office where she left the bowl, to her surprise and slight panic there was a strange slurping sound that came from the bowl. Inching over closer and closer to the sound she looked down and inside the bowl eating up the last of the ramen was a tiny fox. Marcie looked from side to side and then back to the bowl to make sure she was not hallucinating, no the fox was still there and as she stared at it, it looked up at her and made a small murring sound. Needless to say Marcie was completely drawn in by it's cuteness and picked the little thing up petting it as it curled up happily. After some experimenting Marcie found out that apparently all the ramen packets contained foxes... but what was she suppose to do with them all?

With the mysterious Mr. Smith missing, Marcie decided she would do what any smart business woman would to get her payment and then some back. With a bit of cleaning and painting she turned the warehouse into a pet shop that sold the most unique little fox creatures - Welcome to that shop.

Stage 1: It was discovered that when the special Ramen was combined with colored waters, it would effect the color of the Kitsune that appeared. So during flatsales colored water will be sold and put together with a generic ramen package on the cert.

Stage 2: A couple days later the ramen and water have been put in a bowl and start to shimmer and spark. The strange magics then start to take hold.

Stage 3: After two days of simmering something very strange happens to the bowl, a tiny head peeks out of it. Just a baby, the kitsune likes to rest almost all day and doesn't often leave the safety of it's bowl.

Stage 4: After a week the tiny kitsune hit a random and quite unexpected growth spurt growing to it's full size. Even as an adult it doesn't like to be far from it's bowl and often wears the bowl on it's head.

Flatsales: They are speed based sales, this is not an RP shop. You are of course welcome to RP if you want to, we aren't going to throw a fit if you do. However it is far from required, so speed sales seem fitting. They are 3500 gold for a bottle of water, the ramen packet and bowl that are required for the full growth of your little darling.

You can incorperate the Kitsune into it if you like or just have ramen in it...competely your choice! PM your stories to RamenKitsune.

Breeding! Ramen Kitsune are genderless creatures but curiously enough when two Kitsune grow fond of each other they can wander off to the dark corners of the warehouse and after a week come back with some kits. We of the shop respect the kitsunes privacy and have never seen how these kits are made but it is obvious that the Ramen Kitsune are able to breed. Now babies that come from breeding are just that babies - there are only two stages baby and then adult; they skip the water and bowl stage.

So, You think they are adorable and you want one right now. You don't want to wait for a flatsale and you want it your way. Well if you unlace those purse strings you can have one however you want, Customs are lovely that way.

For a Sealed Letter (or compairable marketplace value in gold) We will be more then happy to oblige you. You don't have to wait for a flatsale, you don't have to pick from colors and designs we choose.

Nifty eh?

So what exactly are you going to get? You'll choose the color, the color of all markings and designs you want on their bodies. It can start at any stage you want it to, and stop at any stage you want it to. Your Kitsune, Your way. You will also get on a list to get two special items (coming soon) for any of your foxes, and when I say two special items I mean any item on that list. The item doesn't have to go on the custom either.

So how do you know it's alright to order one of these? Below this text are the names of the two resident shop colorists. They will have slots open, if you see it open you must post that you want the custom slot and which colorist you want to do it in bold letters so it is easy for us to see and we don't scan over it, with the words "squiggly worms" like a flatsale so we know you read this. At that time you will PM the colorist with the name of the little creature and the details of what you want, trades are also sent to the colorist you choose.
