As you walk down the street, you can't help but be drawn to the many colorful attractions that line each window display. Each one is better then the last, always dragging your attention and making you wish that you still had the gold that was spent the night before. However, your attention is drawn elsewhere, and as you settle on a very plain window display you just yawn and look away. Drawn back for a second glance, you can't help but feel that there is something both charming and eerie about this store compaired to the others from before.

The windows are filled with many stuffed animals, some looking older than time itself while others appeared brand new. Within the mountain of creatures, a sign sits delicatly illuminated in the light and it reads:



The Sign

  • Spring cleaning! After much neglect from Iris the thread is going to be going through a spring cleaning. Mistakes on the front page will be fixed up, links updated, journals updated, and of course a huge slew of growings within the next couple of weeks! If you see any mistakes (other than Nayati's links being messed up and journals that aren't updated) please post and let me know! Also, if you think you're character is ready to grow pm Iris and we can discuss. :3 Remember though, there must be SOME rp for growth, don't bother pming me if you don't even have two or three rps since the last growth.

    On another note, I'd just like to take a moment to remind people about manners. Whether it be godmodding during rp or comments OOC please try to remember we are all human and all have feelings. Whether or not you like someone's character or rping style/skills we should all be treated equally civily. On the art side of things everyone in this shop came on with the understanding that artwork would be shared between artists. I know, and I'm sure everyone would agree, that Naraka's stages are far more impressive and pretty but making direct comments on the dissapointment/dislike of Iris' stages really isn't nice OR appropriate. :/ Feel free to hate them all you like, but in the words of Thumper's mother, "If you can't say something nice, then don't say anything at all".

Feeling the urge overwhelm you, you suddenly decide to go inside the strange shop. Upon entering, a man dressed in shades of black and white looks over and smiles at you pleasantly from behind the counter. He is wearing an eyepatch, and is relatively young, but has an air of dignity about him. Before he even opens his mouth to speak, your attention is fully upon him, the surprises of the strange shop neverending.

"Good day, and welcome to the Velveteen Toybox. Feel free to look around, and if you have any questions, I'll be right here."

The room is not terribly large, and the shelves are covered with almost every kind of plushee available. The few shelves towards the back also contain dolls and toys of other sorts. It has a very old, mystic feel to it, despite that some of the merchandise looks very modern. Several comfy looking couches are available to sit and relax on, and there is a vending machine just to the left of the door. However, as you move closer, you note that a sign on it reads: "You spill, you pay." In an odd contrast to the warning on the sign...there is also a smiley face.

"Saeru, I..." A lady appears from the back of the store, very beautiful and voluptous. She seems to be about the same age as the man with the eyepatch, and shares the slight amount of mystery he has. Upon seeing you, her expression changes to a large, innocent-yet-knowing smile.

"Oh, I didn't realize we had a visitor. Its so nice of you to stop by. Is there anything I can do to help?"

Before you can answer, you see something move on the shelf out of the corner of your eye. Yet, when you look over, there is nothing there besides more stuffed animals. That is, until a small unicorn one stands up, and leaps off the shelf...

Not a stuffed unicorn at all, but a real one, plush-sized.

This is a very peculiar petshop, indeed!

"Oh, Nayati, there you are!" The female from before smiles, and catches the Unicorn, which looks at her a bit indignantly but tolerates being caught. "You're not supposed to let the other big people see you...."

She looks over to where you're standing, still smiling. "I suppose you're wondering what this is all about, aren't you? Well, if you have some time, sit. We'll tell you all about it. But you have to promise to keep it secret, akay?" She hugs her unicorn.

The man from behind the counter nods, petting a gryphon that is sitting beside the cash register. It sways its tail happily, and watches you, having been there the whole time, blending perfectly into the theme of the store.

"It started," he begins, "With the death of Iris' Uncle."

The Lady sits on one of the couches with the unicorn laying down by her feet. "I hadn't known him very well, but when my family went to hear his will read, he left to me this very Toy shop. Knowing that managing a shop was a lot of work, and that I was just a poor College student, I asked Saeru to help me."

From one of the shelves to your right, something else moves...only, this time, it isn't a plush. A man looks out at you with one eye slightly narrowed...then smirks. "What did you expect? The easter bunny?" He jumps down, landing on the floor without a noise, his cape fluttering down around him. "This is about the part of the story where I come in." A magpie settles down on his shoulder from the shelf that he was just occupying, and stares at you.

"We found him in the basement." Iris continues, happily. "Apparently he was a friend that my uncle forgot to mention. He's not always around, but he hasn't really left either."

"To continue...with myself being a poor college student, also, I was happy to take the job Iris offered." The man behind the counter smiles.

"We've been working here ever since. Yet...not too long after we reopened the place...something strange happened. Besides Naraka, I mean." Saeru nods to the caped figure, who takes a seat where he was standing on the floor.

"There is a chest in the back of the room...look over there, you can see it." He points to the back right hand corner, where a very old, worn treasure chest sits amidst piles of plushees.

"When exploring the shop, I discovered the chest. It had a key in its lock already, thank goodness, and so I simply turned it and opened the mysterious case. Inside there were some very strange objects...a bit of wax, a small tin, and a pail of lead shot. It quickly became apparent to me that these tools could be used to make a nearly exact duplicate of the key that had opened the chest. So I gave them to Iris and suggested that she make herself a copy."

"That was when this whole craziness started." Iris continued. The Unicorn at her feet snorted as if in a sarcastic reply.

"I made a key like he said, and went over to the chest to make sure it worked. Yet, when the lid opened, what I saw inside was a unicorn Plushee. This was not what I had expected, and so I pulled it out and went to ask Saeru or Naraka if one of them had put it in there."

Saeru chimes in, "I hadn't. As a matter of fact, the chest had been closed since I had taken out what was inside. Though I had been planning to use it as a display case, it didn't seem now like it was going to end up that way. Curious as to what had gone on, I decided to make myself a copy key, and turned it in the lock on the chest. When I opened it, there was another plushee...a gryphon, this time. Needless to say both Iris and I were very confused."

"Not me, though." With a toothy grin that displays a rather sharp fang, the man sitting on the floor speaks up. "All kinds of crazy things happen around here. Seeing this new event, I decided to join in the fun." The magpie on his shoulder caws in agreement.

"It was Naraka that pointed out this master key was the solution to another problem of ours." Saeru walks out from behind the counter, the gryphon leaping up onto his shoulder as he goes. "Come, I'll show you."

His destination is the rear of the main store room, where a large, strange door awaits. He pulls a golden key from his pocket, and sticks it into the keyhole of the door. Once it turns, the door swings open to reveal a hallway, impossibly long given the current length of the store.

"We really don't know how this is here, but..."

He steps in, showing that it is safe. Near the doorway are three other doors, but the rest of the hallway is blank....save for one other thing. At the end, there is a solid, beautifully gilded and decorated door, just waiting to be unlocked.

"This door opens for Iris..." He points to the left door. "And this door opens for me." Indicating the one on the right.

Pointing to the third door, Naraka slinks up behind you, almost uncomfortably close. "Guess who's door that is?" He backs off quickly, though, into the shadows to watch.

"That big one down there won't open for any of outr keys, though. I wonder what is behind it."

As Saeru stares at the door pensively, Iris turns back to you, "So you see why this knowledge really shouldn't get out? At least, not until we understand why all of this is happening. Maybe we could let you open the chest, to help us? You seem like you'd be a lot of fun."

The three of them look to you, curious, awaiting your response.

The Velveteen toychest is a shop run by Iris_Virus and Naraka. Its a collaboration between the two of us, but I will be doing the journal related stuff, so you can ask either of us anything you'd like. Well, to an extent. (See the rules)

Like many specialized pets before them, the Velvets are RP-heavy. If you don't rp you won't necessarily be punished (I'll never take your baby away!) But a velvet can't grow without love, care, and interaction...So keep that in mind.

You'll be expected to post in a diary. It doesn't have to be that often, just to keep track of things that you and your velvet did that weren't seen in the shop. Since all interaction go towards the growing of your baby, it's a good thing for me to know. But there is more info about that below.

The art is shared between Naraka and myself. This doesn't mean that each pet will have the art done entirely by one of us, though. We'll alternate between different stages of your pet, so that you get samples of art from both of us. The art of the shop has been changed from colored pencil to CGing. So both of us do lineart and Naraka CGs. Colored pencil can be special requested, just drop a note ahead of time.

Also to note -- In a flatsale, the personality/type of your velvet isn't predetermined. We'll only create the plush after we've decided on the winners. This is so we can make a plush animal that will best suit you. Genders are predetermined, however.

No grumbling about what kind of velvet you get! We reserve the right to revoke the velvet of a winner who's attitude is sour. (Okay I lied, so we might take your baby away. XD But only if you look like you hate it and are going to abuse it.)



Thread Rules


  1. Roleplaying of Velvets will take place in this thread(the shop), the guild, or journals. Other pets are allowed, but please not so many that there are more than the velvets in the room. (Unless there are no velvets in the room...then, by all means, pull out your pets.)

  2. Please be generally courteous to others.

  3. Do not pester the thread about when the next flatsale or auction is. We'll give you plenty of notice. ^^

  4. Avoid overquoting. (Yay Lanzer for making this mandatory)

  5. Naraka and I have the authority to blacklist those that we feel are being overly disruptive.

  6. RP is going on in the shop all the time. Feel free to join in, even if you don't have a velvet. ^^

  7. Any form of god-moding (taking control of anothers characters/having a 'flawless character'/being capable of things out of logical reason) is strictly prohibited... If it comes up there WILL be punishment. (If you're uncertain as to a specific circumstance, feel free to ask us. ^^)

  8. While Velvets do have magic, you must keep in mind the size scale of these creatures. Even as a full adult the velvets will barely be the size of a small child, so there is next to know way your velvet is going to "cause a tsunami across the ocean" or "rip the room apart with an earthquake".

    Remember! Magic affects everyone! Don't screw up everyone else's fun just so you can show off and take centerstage.



Shop Description


Its an open room with walls covered in shelves and toyboxes on the floor. There are two couches, one in the back right corner and one on the left wall. A vending machine sits just to the left of the door against the front wall, which is mostly a large, glass window. On the right side of the room is the desktop and cash register. Straight back from where you enter is the mysterious door, though there is another door to the left of it that leads back into normal storage areas. Finally, in the back left corner, there is the chest.

Velvets go through Five stages.



The Plush Stage


In this stage, your Velvet isn't really any different from a regular stuffed toy. However, what you do with it in this stage will determine its personality in all the remaining stages, so treat it how you would want to be treated. In a few days, it will change from a plush into...



The Animal Stage


While in the plush stage, your velvet will have started developing a link to you. When it reaches animal stage, its own wish to be real comes true, and it stops being a toy and becomes a living, breathing creature. However, most Velvets won't be any larger than they were in plush size. Also, now, you get to give your Velvet a name!
At this point, it has a slight mental connection with you, and can convey basic emotions and images. No words yet...after all, it is still an animal.
Its reactions now are determined by you...here is where the official roleplaying begins. Also, the personality of your animal will be revealed, as well as its own unique set of abilities. You can improve these abilities, or teach it new ones by RPing in the thread or posting in your diary(but the amount they increase is determined by us.)

After a few weeks of LOTS of CARE in this stage Iris will send you through your own door on a quest. Complete this quest, and your velvet will grow into...



The Child Stage


Becoming more and more human-like while they grow, when a Velvet enters child stage, it seems to be a about 60% animal. The mental connection it developed with you is strengthened, and the two of you would be able to exchange basic conversations. Learning new abilities is a little easier in this stage, since it can now understand you fully, and you can understand it.

After another few weeks as a child, the next quest will turn your velvet into...



The Teenager Stage


By now the mental link has reached full maturity, and anything you could say or think normally can be conveyed back and forth between the two of you. This doesn't present much of a problem, though, as it will only get thoughts you -direct- at it, and vice versa. Interactions with others will start becoming very important to your velvet now, though it is still ultimately responsive to you.

A final quest will eventually be given, when your velvet is ready, which will make your velvet enter...



The Adult Stage


All of your hard work has paid off. In this stage, your velvet is the most human that it is going to become, though still displaying many traits of what it had been. Its powers and abilities are fully developed, and much else besides. At this stage, your velvet will be able to enter a special door with another velvet, if it wishes...so that a new velvet can be created. More about that below.



But is that all the stages a velvet can reach? That remains to be seen. ^.~

As mentioned above, you'll be required to have a diary. This diary should say everything that you do with/to your velvet during each of its stages. In the plush stage I will post very little, but once it evolves into animal and up, we'll reveal to you your Velvet's general personality, its special power, and a few other things besides. At that point, you can feel free to try and teach your velvet anything you'd like...although there will be some things it just won't be able to learn as well as others. When the time comes for your quest, I will post a scenario. It is your job to finish out the scenario...sort of like a story contest where you get to write the ending. You can pretty much do whatever you want-within reason. (AKA no building stealth bomber jets) It must involve you and your velvet working together, however, and can't have your velvet doing anything that isn't in its current range of abilities. Other than that...have fun, and be creative!

A special ability of velvets is...that the closer they grow to another velvet...the more likely they are to take on traits of that velvet as they get older. Also, interacting with other velvets can help increase your velvet's abiliies/powers. In other words...in thread RPing is a good thing. ^^


Diary/RP rules


  1. Stay in character. (Not that this should be a problem)

  2. Be creative.

  3. Let us create your diary, so we can update it with the information you need. We can post in another pet's diary of yours, if you'd prefer.

  4. You're not allowed to own more than two velvets. This is just to make it fair. Update: If a velvet reaches the super stage (after adult), it frees up a space for you to have another velvet.

  5. If you're too cruel or do not do anything with your velvet, it will become stunted and refuse to grow

  6. The personality of your velvet is determined by what happens to it in the plush stage. This doesn't mean trying to expose it to everything known to man...just do a few things with it that will develop it for the future.

  7. From now on I'll only be updating journals when a growing occurs or via request. So if you want an update pm me or post the request into the thread. :3 This should help with those who write everyday as opposed to those that post once a month.

Lets face it...stuffed animals cannot really breed. Even in their fully adult, human forms, it doesn't make much sense.(Female and male are such only in appearance, not in functionality.)

However...there is one special door...called the 13th door...which two Velvets can enter where a process occurs that is very similar to breeding. The plushee that results from this process will have traits of both the mother and the father, but since any two animals can combine, won't be entirely one or the other.

I don't see any reason, also, given that its not true breeding, for sex restrictions. Males can go in with males, or females in with females, or good ol' males with females. Its all up to you. heart The only requirement is that they both be adults, and that they have a legitimate reason to want to "breed."

The parent will be in charge of distributing the offspring as they see fit. However if it is sold 50ish% of the profits will be returned to us. 3nodding

A breeding will cost 15K apeice.

Flatsales


Flatsales will be held in a different thread. *points to the link via picture above*. Please only post your entries there when the flatsales open, and keep rping, questions, and talk to this thread.

Flatsales are relitively rare. But when we do do one, rest assured that it will appear on the sign in the window MANY days beforehand. *points to first post* The flatsales contain 4 velvets each. Each flatsale pet will cost 10K.

The flatsales will last 24 hours, and will consist of the following two things:

  1. An introduction.

    This is where you tell us about -yourself.- The personalities and animal types available in each flatsale are -not- predetermined...we base them off the winners. Only the gender is known to start off with. We'll try and pick the animal type that would best suit the personality that you have given us...of course, what this also means is that, if you give us a personality that would be more suited to, say...an elephant...that is a bit more creative than if 20 of you post with the intention of getting a cat. Of course, I'm not out to discourage cat-posters.

    We're looking for the best, most creative writers(thus, if you want a cat, you have to be better than the other 19 cat-posts). However, You're more likely to be noticed if you chose something unique to base your personality off of. You don't have to be human, but don't make your character ungodly powerful.

    Note: This can be written ahead of time, before the flatsale even begins. All we're asking here is that you tell us about yourself...how you act on gaia. You -can- mention the type of animal you'd want, but that doesn't guarantee you'll get that. ^^

    Examples of Intros are in the shopkeepers rant sections.

  2. A question. The question will be asked at the start of the flatsale, and you must answer it in your post. I'll post the question in the thread and here, on the first page. After it is posted, you'll have 24 hours to submit your introduction and the answer to the question. Your answer should be no more than 3500 characters(approximately 500-600 words).



Also, For the flatsale...feel free to request a gender. It might not be what you get, but we'll try.

  7. Friends can enter flatsales for you. The winners of the flatsales will receive keys, which they can then use to open the chest whenever they like. You may give your key away, but you cannot give your plush/animal/child/teen/adult away.

  8. Co-owning is not allowed. Exceptions might be made, but don't bet on it.

  9. You can edit your posts up until the end of the flatsale. Don't edit after that or I'll sick Naraka on you and you'll be disqualified.

Auctions are a little different than flatsales. You'll still have to prove your RPing ability, but not with quite the amount of detail that flatsales have.

Auctions will start at 10K, and will end 24 hours after the last bid has been posted.

We VERY much prefer choosing the animals ourselves, and don't want to get bogged down, so if for some strange reason lots of crazy people want to shell out money we might need to temporarily shut this. I doubt that'll be a problem though. :3

An introduction? You want me to tell you about myself? Well that's silly when you can just see me right here. ^ ^ *giggles* But if you insist... Let's see...


My name is Iris_virus, or Iris, or Irisy.. or just about anything you can think of. I like to make lots of friends so naturally I go by many nicknames and such. Ummm... I try to be friendly and share with everyone but sometimes I seem to upset some people by being to 'touchy'. I think that's silly but it's alright. heart

My "lingere bunny" outfit says quite a bit about me I think. 3nodding I like things that are cute and magical but at the same time, I'm really not a big fan of wearing lots of clothes. I like my bells, ears, and wings especially 'cause even if they aren't real they make me feel all special, sparkly, and happy. And everyone should feel that way! I also like playing outside, and swimming, and cute little animals, and coloring, and sweet yummy things, and sparkles, and magic, and music be it from nature, accident, or purposeful construction.

I've always been raised to see the bright side of things, so as I've grown up I always try to see the best in everything and everyone! I think that people's biggest goal in life should be having lots of fun and making tons of friends. I certainly try to do both at any ocassion I can. Well um.. I can be a little clumsy at time and I've been told that I need to be a little more serious before.. but I think I'm still a nice person. But you can judge that for yourself. Come and play sometime! heart

So, you want to know a little bit about me, eh? Well, that’s rather a tall order considering my nature, so I suppose this’ll be rather short.

I’ve lived a long life, several lives, in fact, and, looking back, it seems that the most profound lessons I learned were also the most depressing. Life is cheap; talk is cheap. The last thing I need is people privy to my personal self. Anyhow, letting people know me, really know me, has never done me any good.

A lot of the time I’m unpleasant and overbearing just so people won’t want to. After so many years I guess I’ve become a terribly good actor in that respect. I’m just a fool and a trouble-maker; at least, that’s what I intend for you to see.

There’s no use getting attached when everything has to end. The older I get the less inclined I am to open up to anyone, and it becomes harder and harder to remember what it was really like in the first place. People are fun to mess around with, but never let anyone get too close or you’re in for a world full of hurt.

So, there you are, then. I’m not going to prattle on about my wondrous attributes with overbearing verbosity (which is a sure sign of egomania—the most loathsome of character traits.) I haven’t any purpose or meaning. I’m just another bit of the ferment—moving, eating, and waiting to stop.*

Rehoming and Refunding


As it's been stated before, we here at the Velveteen Toychest have strong views against taking away pets. So on occassion, a pet ends up neglected.. and doesn't even end up growing. crying

If you find yourself with a pet you no longer want/or simply have become too busy to care for we have a few options open to help you out. No questions asked. Sometimes giving up your pet, is the more responsible choice. 3nodding

Choices available


  1. Monetary Refund: When you give up your pet you may ask for a refund (You will be given the flatsale fee and no more. Possibly a little less if the pet is already in the teen stage)

  2. Art Refund: If your pet is a teenager or younger you can opt that your refund be a commission by Iris.



Rules for giving up your pet



  1. Your pet will no longer exsist. IC'ly they'll have reverted back to the plush stage, but they'll be no longer available for you or others to play.

  2. This allows your animal to once again be up for grabs. HOWEVER the looks and personality for said animal will be newly done and different.

  3. Once you've given your plush up, there is no way to get them back.

  4. You shant be shunned or unloved for choosing to give up your pet. We understand that life comes up, and that interest wanes. We'd RATHER you give up a pet you aren't interested in playing, then have it sitting in limbo for it's entire exsistance.

Halloween Event! *banner coming soon*

miniplot
-The moon crept through the windows of the shop, filtering dim light through the empty shop as the last hours of the 'unlucky day' slipped by. Already the shop was beginning to fill, with decorations of sorts for the upcoming holidays. Banners and decor hung silently from archways, cartoonish bats and spiders slipped from ceiling rafters, unnumberable pumpkins both real and fake littered the store. Even the plushes had the spirit, many of them propped against pumpkins, or adored with tiny costume hints. Witches hats, Black cat ears, bats wings, vampire capes. But all was still this night until the moonlight finally touched the old chest in the back of the room.. and slowly something began to stir.

Smoke billowed from the cracks of the lid, an eerie green glow radiating as if to push the moonlight away. The lid open slowly, hesitantly, as if something were forcing it from the inside, but finally it openned with a loud creak. And from the fog appeared something white. So pale the young cat girl seemed almost ghostly in apperance, but indeed she was not. She also appeared innocent and adorable, but that too was a falacy, clearly seen by the malicous smirk that soon tainted her lips.-

"Isn't this quaint?" -She mused to the plush cat that rest in her arms, settling herself to sit on the edge of the chest as she peered about the dark shop.- "A little too cute from my tastes."

-With a flick of a ivory paw one of the goofy faced bats snapped from it's string, falling to the floor in a heap. And with another a barrage of plushes came flying off one of the shelves, pumpkin smashing to gooey pumpkin bits as it hit the floor.- "Ohhhhh yessssss! That's FAR better!" -An unpleasant purr and set of giggles escaped the kitten as she slipped from the chest, struting around to debate on what next to knock around.-

-Iris gave a relived huff of of air as she finally reached the shop, heavy bags nearly spilling out with more decorations, and resting for a moment, she fished for the key, unlocking the door and swinging it open. Turning, to drag in the two bags, it wasn't until her back hit the hanging strands of the ripped streamers over the door that she turned to look, eyes widened, hands loosening.-

"My store!" -Unholy wail escaping the bunny woman, her eyes traveled in sort horror from one mess to the other.. eyeing the poor plushes strewn all over the floor.. pumpkins bashed and splattered here and there.. all the ceiling decorations either littering the ground or hanging in ripped tendrels. Hands creeping from her mouth to her eyes she began to cry, slowly swaying forward as she began the task of picking up everything that'd fallen, cleaning everything unfixable. Who'd have done such a horrible thing? And why! To a toy shop of all places!

When finally nearly everything was picked up, and the floor moped Iris spotted the out of place plush resting atop the chest. Two kittens, one little one big, as white as snow. Slipping over she lifted it tenderly, pulling it to her chest to cuddle softly, lamenting her misery to the plush that pulsed with life.- "Did you see who did this little one? I bet you were so scared..."

"Mmm.. don't worry. It won't happen again. I'll keep you safe until your mommy or daddy comes."

-Eyes lifting softly to the store around them, and the bags awaiting just inside the door Iris sighed softly, glancing to the clock.- "I suppose we'll have to finish decorating tommorow after I buy some new pumpkins. Come on little one. Let's go home for today."


In case you haven't realized, welcome to the halloween miniplot. biggrin And meet our new and less then sweet little NPC, Keaira (and Damon her plush), the Neko Koneko. More storyline will pull along as time passes, but she's free to play with any velvet from now until the actual storyline and halloween event that starts Oct 22. Velvets only until the 22nd (for she won't show her child form to parents until then).

The halloween event (both the miniplot, rping party, and OOC games and stuff) will run from Oct 22nd until November 5th. Most games will probably happen before Halloween, but I wanted plenty of time for the miniplot.

Owners and nonowners are all invited. biggrin Keep on the lookout for more info as it's added.

Decorate a pumpkin

It wouldn't be halloween without pumpkin decorating! Carve um, paint um, dress them up all funky!

Take any of the pumpkin images below and fix it up however you like.
Entries should be posted in the thread! You're only allowed one entry in the contest, but if you make one that you like better, you can post the new one and ask that it replaces your first.

On halloween I'll chose the ones I like the best in a few different categories. :3 Entries in the next post!

Trick or treating

Runs from: Oct 29th - 31st

Trick or treat! Come by and visit Iris (just post some simple little rp post of approaching Iris and saying trick or treat) and I'll reply to you as soon as possible and you'll get a trick or treat bag. :3

Scavanger hunt

Starts: Tuesday the 24th, 8pm PST (11EST)
~ There is a chance this event could run for a day or longer, depending on how hard the riddles are, and how clever the solvers are. :3 So if you cannot make it do not fret.

The scavanger hunt is the main OOC event of this halloween party. :3 That being said, it'll be a group effort and the first prize is something super spiffy.

Rules and info
~ Form teams of 2-3 people (please post the teams and a leader)
~ When the event starts I will send a riddle to each team leader. Teams then need to solve the riddle and find the corresponding image I have posted.
~ Images will be posted ALL over gaia, some in very old posts, so don't even bother checking my past posts. xp
~ When you've solved one send the image *plus where you found it* back to me and you'll get the next riddle.
~ First team to complete all the riddles and get all the images wins.
~ Everyone else is free to continue and finish for participation prizes.
