You see my avatar, you notice the halo, and you think "This person not only has a halo, but has been actively wearing it for three years! Why the F****** H*** would I want to help this person get another?"
...And that is the proof that you aren't bothering to read the thread first, you pathetic moron.
You see, this quest isn't actually about me getting more halos; it's quite a bit more complicated than that, and almost the opposite.
As you are well aware, the number of halos on Gaia has been falling at a steady rate, thanks to people leaving, or getting banned, or other such things. Once numbered in the hundreds, now there are perhaps one or two dozen halos left. Should this trend continue, there will eventually be no halos left, or worse yet few enough that their relative worth is more than the entire gaia economy. This trend of attenuation cannot be allowed tocontinue, else our future generations will know of halos only by way of myth, legend, and outdated rare item lists.
My goal is to gather the few remaining halos of Gaia together, and with the combined might of every halo owner's expressed desires, we will force the admins to re-issue or re-release halos in some way, shape, or form. Be that as a quest reward for the ultimate dungeon in the Gaia battle system, or as a rare, or in some other way. Together, we can make halo ownership a dream that the masses have at least a glimmer of hope of fulfilling.
To this end, I need two things. First, I need people who own halos to express their support of this. Second, I need the ability to buy halos from those who disagree with this goal - I don't care who has the cash or who ends up with the halo, as long as the halo ends-up in sympathetic hands.
So join me, fellow elites of Gaia. Help me replenish the fading halo stocks before they become naught but a memory. Save the pinnacle of Gaia's garb from it's own success.
