Well, today might have changed my life forever... I'm sure you're wondering what I mean, so let me recount to you what happened to me today...

I was going out to rent a movie from the local video store, like I do sometimes on Saturdays, but I walked past a shop that I had never seen before. A wooden sign swung back and forth in the wind, it read "The Seven Circles". Intrigued, I decided that the movie could wait and I stepped into the shop. The decor in the shop was entirely different than anything I had seen before. Plus it had an odd, almost magical feel to it.

Suddenly a woman who I assumed was the shop owner came over to me. I finally noticed what the shop's merchandise was. There were little flames, of all colors sitting on shelves... Wait, sitting? Yes, once I thought about it they did look alive, not like normal fire. I smiled as the shop owner welcomed me to the shop and asked me if I saw anything that I liked. I walked around looking at all the flames, and the shop keeper followed next to me.

Eventually I came to a red flame that had small flickers of black in it as well. "Hmm...This one seems different..." I felt as if the flame wanted me to take him home with me. "Would you like this one?" The shop keeper asked me now. "Yes, I think so." I said a little haltingly. Before I knew it, I had the flame at home with me.

The shop keeper had told me that the flame was a boy, which seemed a little odd to me... And that he was born of the emotion anger. I wasn't exactly sure what that was supposed to mean, but I think I've finally figured it out. I named it Tenmak, for the Japanese word for demon, Tenma. I discovered that if I reach out for him, he flares up and he's so hot that I can't touch him. And sometimes when I have him near me, I start to feel really angry. For no reason what so ever. He just annoys me so much, I just hate him sometimes! .... See! I don't even know where that came from!

I really don't know what I've gotten myself into here, but it seems like I've learned a lot about him in just one day. Well, I have to go now, I kept Tenmak next to me while I wrote this and now I'm starting to get really angry again.

Well I've learned a little more about Tenmak, and I have a story to tell about myself.

I've discovered that when I'm angry about something just naturally, Tenmak will flare up and make almost a hissing sound. It's a very odd sight to see I'm sure. Me pacing back and forth fuming and a small red flame spluttering and hissing. I think I'm going to be scaring off the neighbors soon enough.

And now comes the story of how I injured myself. I was at a family get together for the 4th of July, America's Independence Day. And as I was playing fetch with one of my aunt's dogs, I managed to slip down a steep hill that is behind their house. And in the process of slipping, I sprained my wrist. Now, I've always been clutsy and that's one of the things about myself that get me very angry. I'm thinking you can see where I'm going with this.

So yes, you're right. I was pacing back and forth in my bedroom, muttering to myself about, "How could you be so stupid?", "You looked like an idiot!" and Tenmak was on my bed flickering and hissing away. Now I've finally gotten over my anger at myself. But I think it may take a few more days for my wrist to feel entirely normal again. But at least my wrist didn't hurt so much today that I could sit myself down in front of the computer and write an entry.

Well that's all for today, and I think I'm starting to be really afraid of what I got myself into with Tenmak here...

Today I awoke to two beady red eyes inches from mine. "You sleep too long!" They spoke to me. Confused and bewildered, I jumped up from my bed. "Who the hell are you?" I spluttered out. "What the hell are you?" I added still confused. The small imp-like creature simply stared at me, it's eyes looking almost aflame... But with what? There was some emotion that seemed to overpower the tiny creature's eyes. I paused a few moments, simply looking it in the eyes. Wait! Anger!

"Tenmak?" I finally said, the fact finally dawning on me. "Duh!" He replied in an angry tone. "Me is Tenmak." I laughed a little. "Don't you mean I am Tenmak?" He cocked his head at me. "You is not Tenmak, you is Arima." I laughed again. "Nevermind. But look at you! You're getting much bigger now!" I said, sitting back down on the bed. Tenmak then crawled onto my lap and looked up at my face. "You is still the same ugly you." Appalled, I somehow resisted shouting at him then and there. "Tamer said he was born of anger..." I mumbled to myself. "That wasn't very nice Tenmak." I was finally able to say.

He simply stared at me now and I had a feeling he wasn't planning on talking to me for the rest of the day.... I was right. It's nine o'clock at night and he still hasn't said anything to me. I still said good night to him before I went to bed, tucking him in beside me. I hadn't realized that I would need a second bed for my new pet, but I suppose I should buy him one... I guess I'll have to do that tomorrow...

Well, I bought Tenmak a small bed recently, just like I said I would. It seems that he likes it enough to sleep in it. I think the only reason he sleeps in it is because then he doesn't have to be near me for at least eight hours. He doesn't seem to like me as much as I could hope. But I think he does like someone else....

Tenmak made a friend very quickly, her name is Namae and her owner Seaki is a friend of mine. Namae was born of the emotion sorrow and she seems rather depressed most of the time, I can't help but feel sorry for her. And Tenmak seems to resist being mean to her, so I guess that's an improvement. He still pokes fun at me and has plenty of rude remarks to shout at me. But you know, I don't mind so much just knowing that he and Namae seem to get along.

I decided that I was going to chance it and took Tenmak for a small trip a few days ago. I wanted to go out and see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie, and seeing as how it's an action movie I figured Tenmak would like it. I smuggled him in you could say, he hid in a bag I brought, so that way people wouldn't be staring at me the entire time. He sat in my lap during the movie and he seemed rather giddy when people were being killed and things were being destroyed, I can't say I didn't expect that. I for one completely enjoyed the movie, but Tenmak, for all the fun he had during the movie, became entirely pissed off at the end. "What!? That's it!? They can't end it like that!? What happens next!?" He would shout endlessly from my bag as we left the theater, and I blushed uncontrollably from the stares people gave me.

So yes, I've had some fun and embarassment with Tenmak, and a new discovery about him since the last time I wrote. Things aren't looking as bleak as they did before. I actually enjoy having him around...

"Hey! Get yer lazy a** outta bed!" A strange voice yelled from my bedside this morning. "Wha?" I blinked back the sleep still in my eyes. As my vision cleared I could see that there was a small child with a bright red mohawk and startling yellow eyes standing next to my bed. "What?" I paused for a few moments, and almost as if I knew... "Tenmak?" I asked, not nearly as surprised as when he had changed from a flame to that creature. "Of course, do you always have to do that?" He asked me, looking very annoyed. "Sorry..." I said, getting out of bed now. "You certainly look... different..." I added, putting it lightly. "I like the mohawk." I now ruffled his hair with a smile. He growled at me and moved away. "Whatever." He said in a bored tone, sitting down on his own bed.

"Well, ok then... You want some breakfast or something?" I asked, wondering what he would want to eat. "I already did." Tenmak lay down on his bed now. "What? How long have you been up?" I asked, now astonished. "Since midnight..." I sat down on my bed, putting a hand to my forehead. "Wait. You mean to say that you've been up all night?" I asked, removing my hand now. "Yeah. What's wrong with that?" He asked, in the same bored tone. "You need to sleep on the same schedule as me I think. That way we don't have you starving to death or anything. What did you have to eat anyway?" Standing up again I walked into the kitchen, Tenmak got up and followed. "I had Ramen. It was easy to make 'cause I've seen you make it so many times." The kitchen actually looked almost the way I had left it, save for the pot that was still on the stove and an extra bowl and fork in the sink. "All right then...."

This is starting to get very interesting...

Well, today is my father's birthday. I went out and got him some simple things that he said he would like and I brought Tenmak with me. I have to admit, I got some pretty wild stares because of Tenmak's appearance. An older lady actually came up to me and called me a "sick whore". Yeah, I was surprised too. It was totally insane, but I don't even really care. I had to explain to Tenmak what a birthday was, he really had no clue. But now that he understands that it's a celebration of the day you're born, he's told me that he can't wait for his own birthday. I had to laugh and tell him that that would be a while from now, but he just laughed and told me in return that he could wait.

I have some family members that will be visiting me from afar tomorrow, I haven't seen them in a few years so it will be nice to see them. Of course it will probably be a little awkward when I have to explain about Tenmak, but I'm sure they'll be fine with it. They're cool like that...

On another note, Tenmak has made an improvement as far as I'm concerned. Do you remember the child Namae that I mentioned before? Well, Tenmak actually smiled at her! That was the first time I had ever seen him smile. But what's more, he kissed her after that! On the cheek of course but still. What I think was adorable though was the fact that Namae, as incredibly shy as she might be, kissed Tenmak in return. Plus Tenmak isn't entirely horrible to me anymore...

Well, Tenmak's an adult now. I have to admit, he's pretty handsome. Seaki and I got lucky because we didn't have to give him and Namae the "talk". They grew up soon enough and just naturally knew it I guess. I have found porn sites on my computer's history though and I know they aren't mine. It seems Tenmak is quite attached to Namae now, they consider themselves a couple and I think it's rather cute. Seaki and I are quite worried that Tenmak and Namae will have a kid or two, because that means we'll be in-laws! And grandparents! @_@ I am pretty worried about that. But on another note, Tenmak and I got in a huge fight because I adopted another flame from the same shop that I got Tenmak. He doesn't seem to like the idea of having a younger brother. The truth is, I expected that. It seems like Tenmak will probably be moving out sooner or later, so I adopted a flame named Itachi. Tamer told me that he was born of insanity, so this should be very interesting. I think Tenmak's over the shock of the idea and has given up on trying to persuade me to give Itachi back... s**t, I have to go. I just heard glass break and that's never good.
