Breeding Rules
* Your dragon has to be an adult (Eternal Children count as adults, since only their appearance is childlike, not their mind!)
* Since dragons reproduce by a joining of spirits, gender doesn't matter - male/male and female/female couples can breed just as easily as female/male couples!
* A dragon can only breed four times in their life - if they gave any more of their spirit away, they would diminish their own life energy.
* Dragons cannot breed with their parents, siblings or offspring.
A breeding will usually produce two children who will start at the child stage (instead of the bag or plushie stage).
Breeding Spots available:
To see if there are breeding spots available, please check the colorists' sale posts!
Breeding costs 6k.
If a spot is available and you either own two adult dragons you want to breed or know somebody whose adult dragon you want to breed with yours (ask their permission first, please!), PM the colorist with the following information:
Name of first owner:
Name of second owner:
Name of first dragon:
Name of second dragon:
Name of first child if male:
Name of first child if female:
Name of second child if male:
Name of second child if female:
If the owner of one parent paid the breeding fee in full, both children will go to them (but they can chose to give one to the other owner). If the owner of the parents split the fee between them, each will get one child.
What you can do with your children:
- you can keep them
- you can give them away to a friend
- you can tell the colorist to auction them off for you
If you keep them or give them away, please let the colorist know, so that they know which name to write on the cert.
If you tell the colorist to auction them off, they will start a seperate auction for each child. The minimum bid will be 3k, and that's what you will get at least, so your breeding fee for the child will be covered in any case. If the child sells for more than 6k, you will get 50% of the winnings.
If you want to breed two dragons of different breeds, here is the breeding table:
The percentages are the likelyhood that a child is going to turn out that breed. So, in the cases where there are four different percentages, it doesn't mean the breeding will result in four children, but that each child has the possibility to turn out as one of these four breeds.
