I CANNOT run the Academy on my own, thus I am recruiting help- people to take the names of Master Jadi Hassin, Master Kollie Lafie and Master Sarah Birawin and be known as "co-owners"!

If these placements don't get filled, I will NOT be re-opening the Academy. It would be pointless... I'd just disappear like I did last time, and the time before... I HATE doing that, but it's just what happens.

If interested, fill out and PM me the form...

I, along with several other owners and lurkers, would rather this place, you know, not die.

Store Rules

General Rules:
1. Do not harass the staff or owners in any way, shape or form.
2. Do not ask for a Jedi, do not ask when the nest sale or event is. I will announce them when I see fit to.
3. You can only own one Jedi. Pretty clear rule...
4. Please use proper spelling and grammar skills.
5. Owners: please keep active! I like to see lots of posts in your Computer Panels, it makes me happy.
6. You CANNOT sell a Jedi you own. If you don't want it, we'll find it a Caretaker who'll be happy to have it. You can request a person to replace Caretakership to, however.

When Exactly is this Taking Place?

When Exactly is this Taking Place?
The Gaia Jedi Academy takes places exactly five years after the events that occurred in game, Knights of the Old Republic. Also meaning, this is thousands of years before the New Republic, Luke Skywalker and all those characters, so I don't really want to hear about them. The only thing acceptable is the mentioning of the Prophesy that Anakin participates in, but again he doesn't exist yet.

Yes, I'm aware that there is a game sequaling Knights of the Old Republic, and that it takes place five years after the original game, but this isn't Knights of the Old Republic 2, consider this an... alternate ending? Instead of the Sith slowly preparing for a new onslaught, they are crippled and weak, along with the Republic after what has been come to be known as the Sith War to Jedi, but the Jedi Civil War to anyone else.

After the destruction of Dantooine's Jedi Enclave, it was decided by the Republic with agreement from the Jedi Council that a new one would be built to take its place, on Gaia... even though this tranquil (also considered 'back-water') planet was far from being in the Republic's hold. A perfect place to train young Jedi, hidden from the crawling Sith, scavenging for revenge on any Jedi they could find. The Academy was placed under the command of Kyros Niashi, Jadi Hassin, Kollie Lafie and Sarah Birawin.

The Jedi were discovered, however.... Yet this remains beyond their knowledge.

The Sith quickly built a Temple beyond the notice of the Jedi's eyes, led by the infamous Darth Mauhi Navic. He was sent by his higher-up, but like any Sith, plots to overthrow them and become the overall Sith ruler himself.

The Sith will watch, slowly attempting to corrupt the minds of the young Jedi. They'll stay quiet...

... for now.

So what will this job entail?

Master Kyros Niashi

Well, it's mainly role playing the character, but it's more complicated. You have to role play training the Apprentices for their Powers, etc- if requested of your character by the Caretaker. RPing arrivals of Apprentices, their growing "quests", etc.

Also keeping tabs on the Computer Panels. What they characters are up to. I found when I was running the Academy, I was busy planning events, drawing, etc, and I couldn't really find the time to read what was going on and to decide if they've earned Attributes, Skills or if they've done something Dark Side or Light Side-y.

More RPing... helping run events, etc.

Yeah, that's about it.

If we are chosen to play the roll of a Master, can we still get an apprentice?

Yes! The Masters are only RP characters.

You may still own an Apprentice and play the roll of a Master.

ALSO!

This is a secret contest, meaning we do not want the entries to be advertised in any way, shape, or form.

Kyros does not want the players of the characters, once they are chosen, to reveal who they are. Says it adds to the mystery of the characters. ninja Or sumthin'.

Profile: Kyros, of course, isn't available, but I'll tell you a bit about him, anyway. He's always been something of a leader, and directed a number of battles during the Jedi Civil War. Neither his Force Powers or battle skills are incredible, and he didn't see much actual fighting in the war, but he has a good sense of what works and what doesn't, and how to direct people. That's why he was chosen to lead the Academy, and his tendancy is to stick around the Academy grounds. He's warm and friendly, but he doesn't understand children very well.

Master Jadi Hassin

Master Jadi Hassin
Age: 26
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Rank: Jedi
Class: Jedi Watchwoman
Thoughts: Will things be okay?
Profile: Jadi earned her Prestige class and her Master role not that long ago. She has a balance between her Force Powers and battle skills, and played a scout's role in the Jedi Civil War. She's the youngest Master of the Academy- vibrant, bright and cheery. She's not great teacher, as she doesn't have much experience in it, but she's quite eager to learn and is catching on quickly. Like Kyros, she rarely goes off-world.

Master Kollie Lafie

Master Kollie Lafie
Age: 49
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Rank: Jedi
Class: Jedi Master
Thoughts: I'm too sexeh for my pants. wink
Profile: Kollie's main focus is his Force Powers as a Jedi Master, rather weak when it comes to physical combat, but he tries. During the Jedi Civil War, he spent most of his time training Jedi, from new Apprentices to Jedi of Prestige classes, so he has the most experience in teaching out of all the Masters. He's quite strange and excentric, and can get on the nerves of the other Masters at times (especially Sarah). But when it comes down to it, he'll take things as seriously as the rest of them. More then Kyros and Jadi, Kollie travels to other worlds to seek out Force potential for the Council on Corescent.

Master Sarah Birawin

Master Sarah Birawin
Age: 64
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Rank: Jedi
Class: Jedi Weapons Master
Thoughts: Where have the Sith gone?
Profile: Sarah is the Academy's resident Weapon's Master, so you can guess what her focus is. She spent most of the Jedi Civil War on the front lines, often fighting ex-Jedi that she once knew, and was not able to save them from the Dark Side. In the situation of kill or be killed, slaying these once great Jedi put her alliances to the test. Not willing to stray from the Jedi, she blocked out the emotions she would have felt, and it left her hard. Emotionless is, after all, has a tendancy to be encouraged in the Jedi to not cloud judgement. Sarah spends the most time off-world then any of the other Masters.
