First of all:

Anyways, I am an asexual. And I simply haven't the foggiest on how I should break the news to my parents. Don't say I should keep it secret, since I feel like they deserve at least that much. Any suggestions?

and reading it, maybe i am too. i have no sex drive and can be promiscuois b/c i dont care. it doesnt change much, ill just never date or get married really. i dont need to tell my mom.

I'm fifteen, I couldn't go to a shrink, and if I could I wouldn't. I have no faith in our "Guidance Office" since they can't get anything right for anyone. Whatever...

I'd say wait a while to see if it's just your hormones messing with you.
If by the time you're say, 16-17, you feel the same way, then let them know.
Chances are, they don't have preconceived notions about asexuality like they may about homosexuality.
It probably won't be an issue to tell them. At least they don't have to deal with you getting someone pregnant, getting an std, etc.

I'm 13 and I've gone to a shrink. And you shouldn't worry about them not liking you. Being asexual doesn't mean your a bad person.

Geez your only 15 sweatdrop you have no clue what and who your going to be in 5yrs. i wouldn't tell your parents a thing until you know for sure. just give it sometime ok. do other things right now with school or sports. focus on who you what you want in life first, the rest will come to you later.

well if you have to ask if you should tell your rents then your more then likly not ready to. i know that. um as for beinf asexual it is fine there is nothing unnormal about it my best friend is don't worry about it and be you

I read that you're only 15... I'd say wait a few years... you're still young. You can't make big like statements like that till you're more mature.

I know I prolly sound annoying by saying that... but it's the truth.. your perceptions change as you get older... not saying that you're going to be a sex addict.. just saying you might not consider being asexual as much anymore.

See, WTF is this.
If he was like "oh I think I'm gay" people would be like "be proud" and stuff, not promoting that he'd change.

I just told my parents that I didn't want to get married and they just said okay. I think parents don't really care as much as they did about who you're dating. So yea.

Well Hun, I can't actually tell you how you should really approach your parents about this but all I can say is that you should, of course, sit them down and tell them. Just say whatever comes out in your mind, well of course not some random thing either 3nodding but I will wish you luck. xd I know you have the courage, the strength, and the ability to talk to them.
