Long Ago and Far Away...

For those who collect pets, oftentimes a pet with a distinct persona and backstory is the most fun type to play. With that in mind, we have a female child Hippogriff who is in need of a loving home -- but even moreso, she needs a name and personality!

Why is she now among other, regular Hippogriffs? These are just a few simple questions you could answer in creating a story for her. Feel free to be as creative, daring, funny, or dramatic as you'd like.

Some things to keep in mind while you're writing:

-- The Hippogriffs do not live among humans. They are afraid of them, and the native humans in their lands are likewise terrified of the 'griffs. They speak different tongues.

-- Demon Hippogriffs are rare. Most living Hippogriffs have probably never seen one... until now!

-- Child griffs (like this demon) are about the size of a large dog. Adult griffs are the size of horses.

Story Contest Rules

-- All entries are due by June 22nd (Thursday) at 5 pm EST.

-- Post your entries in the thread.

-- Current griff owners ARE permitted to enter!

-- The winner will not need to pay for the 'griff.

-- Long stories are welcome, but please, don't write a novel! We have to read these and judge them in a day or two, so please be considerate of our schedules. XD

-- Please use proper grammar and spelling. If your story is hard to read because of all the misspellings and such, it greatly reduces your chances of winning.

-- As I said before, no harassing anyone else during this contest. Everyone is on equal ground.

-- We reserve the right to extend the contest if necessary!
