Hell-o! OOC Thread
So, what's up with this RP? It's my brainchild; an idea that I've been developing for quite some time. All those who love cartoons are welcome.
The Story
Three years in the future; massive criminal and corporate enterprises vie for control of the world's resources. Secret wars are waged all over the globe, all bereft of any clear goal or end. Caught in the middle of this struggle are the new generation of heroes, trying to keep the peace, but always in danger of falling under evils' sway.
The Rules (Read Them All!)
-Be as literate as possible. I'm not asking for novels, but no one-liners.
-Make sure you really know your character's personality and abilities.
-No god-modding, auto-hitting, meta-gaming, or any such nonsense.
-Both romance and combat are encouraged, but keep stuff realistic. Don't just go cruising for fights if you're a hero.
-Keep all content consistent with the Gaia TOS.
-I'm probably not going to allow original characters, at least not until most of the main canons are gone.
-PM me with requests for characters; Use the title of the thread as the subject.
-I reserve the rights to change rules, oust rule-breakers, and to generally control everything in this thread (insert maniacal laughter).
The Characters
This part is sort of tricky. As noted above, PM me for the character you want to play. However, there's no set list of characters; the character you play is chosen at your discretion, and we'll find a way to fit them into the storyline if at all possible. However, keep in mind that this RP is more or less solely about the newer generation of heroes. The story is in no way Titan-centric, however.
There are three guidelines to requesting characters. First, no anime characters; I like anime, but it just won't fit in this RP. Second, since the Teen Titans exist in this RP, no X-Men characters. Thirdly, no characters from Code Lyoko. I just don't like that show.
