Wait, So What IS Death By Watermelon?
DBW (Death By Watermelon) is a partnership shoppe run by Beay and Raphael Latheen. Beay offers to sell Webcam Signs while Raphael Latheen offers extremely sexy art!

Originally, DBW was going to be run by four people just looking for a way to get some gold, but after some thinking they decided that it would be easier to split up into groups of two and become sister-shoppes. Please, do check out our sister-shoppe, "Sweet as Honeydew" in our Affiliate section!

Well yes, I'm doing the Art here.
I'd prefer to mainly focus on drawing Avatar-Art, but I'd be open to drawing Original Characters too...
as long as they're not like... huge, muscular, nekkid, dog-men....
Oh yeah, I'm not drawing Anthro, as in animals with human features, yet I do draw humans with animal-features(Cat-ears, tails, etc.).
I will most likely NOT draw fullbody pictures and/or couples, unless it is for a special, which I'll get to later ;3

Busts of your Avatar or Original Character will be available in any size you specify up to 600x600px (I'm not talking about boobs <__< wink
If you do not specify anything, I will go with a size of 500x500px and you may resize the Art if required.
Busts are generally available either coloured, black and white or lineart only.... -(Click the Thumbs to enlarge the Samples)-

This is just a webcam screencap of the piece of paper.
Based on your username and/or what I think of you, I'll write a small sentence or two on the paper. Don't worry, I won't write anything hurtful or stupid. xp
Extras are... well, extras. Right now, the only one I can offer is of my cat, Twister, being in the cap.
Black is the color I'll always use to write the text, unless you request a different color. Text colors are free.

This post will obviously serve to explain how you order Signs and Art.
Don't worry it's not as complicated ;3

~ ... Signs ~

If you wish to place an order on one of Beay's Signs, please fill out this order form as shown.

By PMing this form, I am agreeing that Beay reserves all rights to decline it.

Once you are done filling out the form, please PM the form to Beay and wait for her (yes, her, remember?) to reply saying she accepted the form. If she replies saying she declines your form, then its because:

a. All of her slots are full.
b. She is just too busy at the moment.
c. You have acted with bad behavior in the shop.

If the reason is a., then please wait until a slot opens and then Re-PM the form back to Beay. If the reason is b., then you'll just have to wait until Beay finds a better time to complete orders, then Re-PM the form back to her. If the reason is c., then Beay will NOT do your order even if she has all the time in the world, until you clean up your act.

ALSO, if Beay does not reply to your order form in two days, by all means, send a PM asking her if she got it. Mkaykay, I'll now explain how you pay the signs and art you can get in this shop~
Of course, first you order the Sign/Art as explained above.
The prices are listed, so there shouldn't be any problems, if there are though, please contact us.
After ordering we will try to get back to you as soon as possible by PMing you about the order.
Once you've gotten our reply please send the trade to the user Le_Bon
Specify what you are paying for in the title of the trade.
For example, when having ordered a sign you could put:
"Payment for Beay" or "Payment for a Sign"
And for Art:
"RL/Art - Bust/Chibi - Coloured/uncoloured/Bw"
We will not accept the trade until we're done with the order, so do not worry about loosing your money.
When the sign or art is done we will contact you about having accepted the trade and we'll either send you our work with watermark or put it up here.
You will not receive the sign/art without watermark until you've completed the trade.

If you are wishing to donate to the Shop in general, entitle the trade as "Donation to DbW" and send it to Le_Bon.
But if you wish to only donate to either Beay or Raphael Latheen, just send a trade to either of us, again naming it "Donation to DbW".

You got that right!
We're offering special services!
No, we're not going to do stripping at your parties or something, so don't get your hopes up!

We will be running a sort or Lottery! Not one for Items or Gold, that is, but one in which you can win what we're offering in our shop, or specials!

Read on for details!

~ How to win ~

There's a number of things you can win, but you cannot win them by simply purchasing some Lottery-ticket, nope!
In the post after this one you will see a number of lists.
If you see your name on certain ones of these you have the chance to win!
First of all, you can of course win if you're a customer of ours!
You can also win by donating, by being a constant Bumper or by just hanging around here a lot posting and all.
People from the Blacklist cannot win, seeing as they do not help to keep a nice atmosphere.

~ What to win ~

When entering the Lottery you can win:
- a free sign by Beay
- a free Chibi-picture of your Avatar/OC coloured/bw/lineart
- a free Bust of your Avatar/OC coloured/bw/lineart
- a free Special picture, either of your Avatar, or if an Original Character of yours
- a free but pretty signature if we get a friend to make one

- a free picture of your Avatar, drawn by a guest-artist ]

(-- Original Characters only possible if you: a) Ordered a drawing of one; b) Specified like "If I win, I would like to get a picture of my OC.... *link to description or preferably other art of him/her/it*"
=> However, this does not necessarily mean that you'll actually get a picture of said OC, because I might aswell choose to draw you Avatar instead.
Just so you know ;3 --)

~ When to win ~

Now, you'll understand that we cannot offer to have a lottery when there's only one single person on all lists together.
Usually, a lottery will be held once a month. Always when both the day and month match;
For Example: 06.06 ; 07.07 ; 08.08 ; 09,09; 10.10......
You get my point.
There is a minimum of 10 people to be on all the current lists together (like, one can be a donator, six an be customers and three could be bumpers), before the lottery is held.
If that minimum hasn't been reached in the one month, the lottery will be delayed until the next month.

Also, if you win you cannot take part in the lottery following directly, BUT in the one after that.
