I'm never really good with creature designs^^"But here's one.

No name for it yet~~It's a kangaroo like creature and is a small nocturnal predator, thus the large eyes and ears, that lives in the grasslands.

It's a fast moving creature, the long tail is for balance when it moves by hopping on its hind legs.

I didn't have much time to work on the design, so no details^^"

It doesn't look like a monster though. I always thought that a monster is scary and stuff. But my sister said that they can be cute too, so I tried to draw something not so gruesome.

That's adorable.
A lot of us didn't have much time to do this. Myself included, but I think we all did a great job with the time we had.

Aww, hooray for cute monsters. <3 It is pretty simple, but not all creatures are terribly flashy. If you want to make it more kangaroo-like though, try making the head a bit smaller and the tail stiffer. (it's better for balance). Make sure that it's eyes are aligned to be more forewards on the face if it's a predator.
I hope you join up for week two so I can see these things as little balls 'o fluff. biggrin

Well, Haneru's already mentioned a few things I don't think I need to reiterate whee . You have nice, clean lines. I think that really suits the style of this creature.
One thing I notice is that apart from the fuzz on the end of the tail and inside the ears, there's no real sign of what sort of texture its skin would have. I mean, I'm assuming it's actually got short fur there, because of the fuzzes and because you described it as "kangaroo-like". I don't know, though; it could as easily be covered in scales (it looks a bit reptilian) or it could be bald. Just a few more lines can be all you need to give an idea of what's on the skin, and I think that sort of thing really helps to solidify the image. whee
The forelegs look a bit heavy for something that gets around by hopping on its hind legs. Does it use them to catch its prey? The claws look a bit too stubby to be useful for that, but the way it looks now I can sort of imagine it getting around mostly by hopping and shifting to all fours for bursts of extra speed or something.

If it's this cute as an adult, I'd love to see what the young ones look like. whee
