Although the funds for this quest is readily available, this is not yet my official quest because I haven't decided whether to get it or not. Or maybe I can just make a new account and have it wear these clothes. (Since I don't want to give up my hair, even if it costs just 250 mrgreen )

MY CLOTHES

These are my favorite clothing! I quested for them one after another (but not necessarily in particular order) so now I have them all and I can wear them anytime I want to! Although I can wear only one at a time sweatdrop

Roleplaying Information, Part 1

SEMI-COMPREHENSIVE HISTORY (or how Shin came to be who she is)
Once upon a time in ancient Gaia, the demon named Beelzebul caused widespread chaos and destruction over the lands and seas. Then came a powerful Hermetic Wizard who battled with Beelzebul, but failed to prevail. Ultimately he used an untried spell - and that is to contain the demon within a book. He used a book containing the novelized version of "Alice in Wonderland" but as he trapped the demon inside he was sucked into the book as well.

Once inside the book, the Hermetic Wizard continued his battle against Beelzebul. With the help of the organized forces of the Church of Light in Wonderland, they managed to seal off Beelzebul - not by another book within a book - but in a conjured paradimension. An amulet was created to protect the seal, and the wizard placed it in the custody of the clergy, who would protect the amulet.

Years passed and this wizard became increasingly alarmed by a mistake in the bookbinding spell he cast before. He immediately warned the people about this but nobody listened to him, and he was even charged with treason. He was executed thereafter, and no longer was he able to write down any documents or information regarding an exploit in the spell which Beelzebul would sooner or later discover too, and use to open a portal from the burning hells into Wonderland and eventually, from Wonderland into Gaia from whence he came from.

About half a millenia after, a group of renegade extremist cultists of diabolic origin stormed the Grand Cathedral of Light in an attempt to once again release Beelzebul, but were routed by the powerful clergymen. Since then, oodles of conspiracy theories and black propaganda came about. The High Council of Light deemed this assault as a threat against their supremacy. In the name of their interests to protect the sacred amulet and with the support of the reigning monarchy, they began releasing orders to eliminate suspected clans or agencies linked to the assault. Among the historically significant groups who were eradicated were the Classical Necromancers, the Wiccas, the Zhang Swordsmen, and many more. Some of the corrupt Church leaders saw this as a chance to seize the treasure of some clans and began to give out orders to eradicate smaller, insignificant groups as well.

Shin's family was a victim of these unjust killings. Shin's mother, who successfully revived the daughter with an ancient, forbidden spell, did the same to herself and thus gained unnatural amounts of energy. Together they made an attack on the Grand Cathedral that killed almost half the clergy regulars, but the latter prevailed anyway. In her last few dying moments, Shin's mother used her remaining energies to place a ward over Shin, putting her into a sleeping state and enough to protect her from death for at least a couple of centuries. Unable to kill the daughter as well, the priests instead trapped Shin in a crypt, and was sealed away in a faraway catacomb to be kept for all eternity.

More than three and a half centuries later, Catherine Scarborough IV, in cognito head of the Royal Wiccan clan, secretly entered the catacombs and by mistake, released Shin instead of the demon Beelzebul which she intended to unleash. Catherine IV is part of an organized plot to seek vengeance and destroy the Church which sought to eradicate them centuries before. Shin then became part of this underground organization and became a key player in the storming of the Grand Cathedral. After a long and hard battle, they were able to kill the pope along with thousands of clergymen, but in the process they destroyed the amulet which sealed Beelzebul. Upon freedom, the demon killed all the clergy and avengers alike - except for two: Shin and a high class Iron Monk, both of whom had very tough bodily resistance. Meanwhile Beelzebul, knowing that he could not win in his weakened condition, fled and began his plans to corrupt the magic that bound him into the world within a book.

Beelzebul contained the mind and body of the young queen, and soon pursued his plans. After his initial experiments, several people from outside the book (Gaia) were sucked into the book in the same way that the Hermetic Wizard and Beelzebul were. With the help of these people, Shin and the Iron Monk permanently banished Beelzebul in a cataclysmic battle, but by this they permanently damaged the world within the book. In a desperate moment, the people who were recently trapped in the book were able to escape the crumbling Wonderland together with Shin. Indeed the Hermetic Wizard's bookbinding spell had a flaw - an imaginary being from within a storybook came into reality in flesh and full detail.

Nowadays Shin works as a high school teacher and during school breaks she works part-time for the Gold Mountain Casino as a receptionist.

NOTES ON THIS STORY:
1. The time in Wonderland is not necessarily parallel with that of Gaia; unintentional magical manipulation from within Wonderland may cause the time to slow down or hasten relative to the time in Gaia

PERSONAL INFORMATION
Shin was born with a defect in her immune system, rendering her a sickly childhood. When she was fourteen, she died of a serious heart complication. Her mother, who was one of the last survivors of their clan, attempted to perform the ancient, forbidden spell of channeling vast amounts of spiritual energy into a reagent. One stormy night, Shin's mother siphoned the violent swirling energies of the storm into a small piece of precious stone. She then embedded it onto Shin's forehead, and then the latter came back to life with inexplicable amounts of spiritual energy and physical capabilities. Shin was then known as "Taifeng Shin" or the "heart of storm."

Roleplaying Information, Part 2

PERSONALITY
Her philosophy, the Dao Xuan Gong, extends not only to her fighting ways but also in her way of living. She stresses the importance of prudence - when to act and when to not act; in combat, she stresses the importance of knowing when it's necessary to draw the weapon and when you can deal with things without it, as well as when to use your power and how to use it. And ever since her participation in the cataclysmic battle against Beelzebul, she understood the importance of impartiality, especially in terms of the concept of good against evil and vice versa. Shin especially loathes the self-righteous people who think they're fighting for "the good." Shin has a very compassionate heart for the oppressed and the abandoned.

Shin is a very agreeable person, and only tends to aggress (physically) when she feels threatened. Rarely does she ever feel threatened herself, however, as she is quite confident in her abilities. She has a calm and gentle soul.

HER WEAPON AND EQUIPMENT
The fifteen-inch long Fan of Shenlong is Shin's weapon of choice. It was their family treasure. Legend has it that it was made from the shed hair and scales of the legendary dragon Shenlong. Apparently, only personalities of immense spiritual power can wield this weapon with proficiency. The fan is virtually indestructible.

Her footwear is not just ordinary silk; it is forged with the flames of the phoenix Houou and thus protecting her feet from being burned. Her shoes are very tough even though they are thin, soft and smooth, and are especially unaffected by the element fire.

KUNG FU MASTERY
Shin concocted her own technique (and in effect a philosophy) which she calls Xuan Gong. Combat with the technique involved heavy body spinning moves and aerial moves, enabling her to attack and defend multiple times in a split-second. This technique is not too complicated for one to understand, but it is very difficult, if not impossible for any ordinary mortal to perform. The only reason why she was able to develop and use this technique is her unnaturally high spiritual energy.

OTHER TECHNIQUES
Using her fan, she is capable of creating thin but destructive wind currents which she calls Wind Cleave. By swaying her fan at a certain angle and at high velocity, she is able to create the current which travels at speeds reaching 50 meters per second. Such wind currents are enough to cause damage to a large portion of a mountain or destroy grade A reinforced steel or cause an instant rapidfall avalanche of snow.

She also uses Lightning Strike, where she casts small electrical jolts multiple times, which adds lightning damage to her physical attacks. Very deadly when these currents are allowed to travel to vital organs.

Sometimes she will combine Lightning Strike with Wind Cleave to produce the Lightning Cleave, her most powerful attack. It is simply a Wind Cleave enhanced with lightning. With the electromagnetic force contained within the attack, it is thrice as damaging as the Wind Cleave, although at a cost of a lot more spiritual energy.

With her slight proficiency in the element wind, she has two other support techniques which she uses: Windwall and Airstep. Windwall quite speaks for itself: using spiritual energy, the air in a fairly small area compresses and thus while being in a gaseous state, is capable of blocking most physical attacks. Generally it is used to buy her a few seconds to either prepare for her next move or disrupt the enemy attack. Airstep, on the other hand, is a derivative of the Windwall where she causes the same effect of air compression, but this time it's used as a leverage in situations where none would be available (for example, when fighting someone 25 feet up in the air.) Because of this, she will still be able to hold her own against aerial battles or against flying opponents, though in fact she cannot fly herself.
