Did you know... that the viscaria flower is probably one of the most sweetest symbolic flower out there? When given, it asks in a quiet, soft voice, "Will you dance with me?" And even when the receiver is oblivious to its beautiful meaning, he or she realizes the importance of it, takes it with a nod... maybe with a smile as well, places their hand over the offered one, and finally follows the leading step of their partner. Then the dancing begins.
It's short, sweet, and simple.
But this moment of dancing lasts forever.
So I hope you will take this viscaria into your heart, accept it... and dance with me too.

*[ V i [S C A R] i A ] is my very first art shop here on Gaia. I've participated in a joint art auction on my other account, but I've never really done anything relating to an art shop. Really, it's only been a few days of my membership... :]
The reason why I named my shop after my favorite flower was because I wanted a name that was exotic in some way and had a special meaning behind it as well. :] This shop was originally planned to be named *KisU, but I later found out that there was already a shop by that name (.Kisu. -- a really cute chibi art shop, by the way)! So, after deleting all the pre-made banners I made for *KisU... I thought, "Maybe something more original?" And came up with this. <3 Lovely, don't you think?

*__June 15, 2006... Agh... I'm so slow at this!! I have the first one done... But I know for sure that I won't be able to finish the others anytime soon since I HURT MY STUPID RIGHT HAND. Aka: my drawing hand. -Mourns- I'll try to heal as soon as I can~ D: Since my stupid little situation is forcing me to take some time off of the hospital volunteer work, I'll have more free time... =/
*__June 02, 2006... Second day--it's in full bloom. Viscaria is turning out to be more popular than I thought it would've... All the slots were filled by noon today (central USA) and I opened just yesterday morning at around 5:00 AM or so, so it's a big surprise to me. Today, Twinkleh got the first freebie... which I just finished a moment ago. =] You can view it here. The next freebies are on pages 30 and 50. =] Can't wait to find out who they'll be... Anyways, June is full, so next it'll be July. The slot amounts will have to change drastically in August.. considering that that's when school starts again. =/
