I heart heart Melt-banana. It's funny how they're more popular out of Japan. Having more European, and U.S fans. I heart the song Moon Flavor, Spathic, The "we will rock you" cover, Section Eight, Free the bee, Flashcube or Eyeball, and many more.

my favorite songs are the one off the Charlie and cell-scape albums. i really like Tapir's Flown Away, Spathic, and Iguana in Trouble. i love all the songs on both albums though.

What the hell are you doing here, Nico?

Cell Scape I think is their best, it's certainly their most pop-ish sounding, meaning the album actually has <i>actual</i> songs on it. It certainly would have been suggested as the first album to look into.

Teeny Shiny is also quite good, the opening track 'Free the Bee' is a stunner and worth grabbing onto alone.

And I really like '13000 miles at light velocity', especially the slowed-down version of 'Disposable Weathercock'.

Most of it is pretty consistant, so outside of 'Cell Scape', 'Teeny Shiny' and possibly 'Charlie', anything can really be a jumping-off point.

Ain't nothin' else up in here but quality threads.

Anyway, I'll put Cactuses Come in Flocks as one of the ones you can skip over. Best ones are (and I think I got some of these titles wrong):

Charlie
Cell-scape
13, 000 Miles to Light Velocity
Scratch or Stitch
Teeny Shiny

Charlie just sqeezed by Cell-scape as the best for me just because I thought it was essential mxbx. It makes me sick that I didn't get to see those songs performed live.
