Hello and welcome to my very first art contest biggrin !
Though I'm not a stranger to the contest forums, I might miss something, so if you have any questions, please let me know :-3

This contest is a avi art contest, but...with kinda a story element to it. So have fun biggrin The news bar is just below and below that is the ever so loved table of contents.

But before we get into the bulk, here is an intro!

7/20/06 >Honestly I didn't want to have to do this, but it seems to be necissary. Let it be known that unless I get at LEAST 25 entries by the 20th of August (if not extended) then the original prizes will not be givin out. HOWEVER if things are remaining how they are I beleive it is very safe to say that every one will get something of value. May I also say that a few entries technically dont even qualify because I'm not even in them :-/ however, to solve the problem, Misty is considering having a prize for art of her. So that's fixed. But Seriously, for those of you who HAVE entered you will get something nice I assure you (and by nice I mean I wont jip you with a ghost sheet. Think 10k or more in items or gold even depending on what your won. Obviously the first prize winner could very well get my kiki.)

This is the piece that I (and others) feel deemed worthy of the title, "OMG IT'S LICKABLE" title. Not only will the smexy art count, but also the thought put into it, story and all that jazz.

Best Cosplay

Blue magician hat and Coat, MP value of 8480g, or more if you sell high.
Well there are two ways you can do this. You can cosplay as my avi, which if you are up to it, kudos to you, OR you can do the more simple thing and dress up my avi ((and friends too, I <3 group pictures)) as different anime/game/whatever characters depending on how you think they fit the character.

We've noticed that many entries are just of misty, to make up for this, Misty has added in her own category so that ya'll have a chance of winning! Isn't that nice xd . So obviously this prize goes to the Best pic of Misty

There are 2 honorable mentions up for grabs, with two different prizes equaling to be the same amount of gold:
angelic parasol and the "school girl set"
**school girl set includes college top, skirt, blue stripped stockings, gray legwarmers, and blue school shoes.
Obviously, these are pictures that I thought deserved something :-3

FAQ

1. Can I submit more then 1 entry?
yes, doing so will get you more chances in winning, enter...ENTER

2. Can I enter dolls/sprites/ avi edits?
no offense, I like dolls, I really do, and sprites, oh man, I LOVE sprites. However, there is this little problem with basing. Now I also know that even with a base it takes a LONG time to do pixelated goodness, but..I dont know, it dont feel right. And...no avi edits...at all. No matter how much mad skillz you have.

3. What about poetry?! SHORT STORIES!!!
eek Dude, I haven't even finished the story yet, how do you expect to write it question
Besides, I hate poetry. 4laugh

4. What if the entry is above PG-13?
...then I'm curious to see what you are doing. But on a serious note, PM me and I'll just put a lil warning next to your link.

5. Can I submit through my DA?

Very good question. Actually it's still in the workings. See I just kinda came up with it on the spot during a 24 hour comic thing. But anyway, the ONLY references that I got are just belows Radjulons references, I just put them in :-3 It needs work, so if you wanna change it to make it better, be my guest

Please keep in mind that referance pictures were drawn within about 10 minutes, so excuse the rather sloppiness sweatdrop

Species: Anthro--Reindeer

Height: 5'10 ((long legs))
Hair color: Purple
Occupation: Air Pirate
Description: Radjulon is originally from the North Pole, before Santa went slightly crazy. So with a hop and a skip she stole his airship made of candy canes, ginger bread and icing. Surprisingly it has a lot of fire power to it.
She has no real quest in particular, except to serve others (for a price sweatdrop ) Aside of popular beleif, she was not originated from One Piece's reindeer pirate Chopper ((that is his name right?)), it is only that great minds think alike.
Key things to note: Her yeti is the equivalent of a parrot as far as companionship goes, he is also slightly malfunctionate, as he was a lab reject. Her Dog was trained by a famous Ogre Killing feline to be a distraction to her enemies.
Please note she has a RED nose, like that of Rudolph (they are related) and her waste down is just like reindeer legs, oh yes, and she always wears gloves.
She always wears the daisy, ALWAYS, it's her cancer awareness daisy :-3

Okay..maybe not JUST like reindeer legs, but similar. So still humanish lookin 3nodding I'll post a reference soon, but for now see the avi examples as to what I mean

After landing (cough* crashing* cough) on an unknown island, Ryo has found herself gradually turning FOXY! And not as in foxy cleopatra! ((ooo lame joke))
She is very sarcastic but random, and always finds people getting her into odd predicaments.
Key things to note: Ryo loves her mink, and always has it with her, as well as her long quested staff of angelicus. She is also my friend in RL, like, close friend, so you can think out of story context here.
