Out of the corner of your eye, you spy a rather odd shop as you walk down the street. Well, it wasn't quite like a shop, but why was it on this street then if it wasn't a shop? So you decide to take a peek, what harm could that do? You approach the shop with caution and open the door. It was nothing like you'd expected inside.

The interior design seemed normal and everything was an odd blue/gray color. Chairs, couches, a counter and to the right, you see a small pen with lots of little fluffy blankets. How odd...

Then a man walks out from one of the side doors behind the counter, he was handsome and was wearing a tie but... no shirt. He had rough, patched up jeans as if they had been down to hell and then back. But his hair was perfectly intact and there wasn't a single hair out of place.

He glances up from the book he was reading and waves to you. "Why, hello there. How may I help you?"

Hanging on the walls were large plaques that had inscribed text on them. They were obviously very important so you read them.

It seems like it was only yesterday when the heavens showed themselves to me. It was an amazing day, no I guess you could say it was a pretty bad day but amazing nevertheless. I could hear my boots crunching as I walked through the deep powdered snow. All was silent around me and the pine trees loomed around me. The going was rough, but it would be worth it in the end. But I continued on my way, keeping a sharp eye out for anything... rainbow like. That was the reason I went up this far north, to see the Aurora Borealis. I traveled far and wide studying the natural phenomnae of the human world. It was a last ditch attempt to help the animal and human kingdom from collapsing... (More information on this... collapse will be up later.)

Slowly, I came upon a large group of pine trees growing unusually close together. I needed to get past them so I pulled over my eskimo hood and began my way into the darkness. I had to duck under low hanging tree branches and be careful of the large tree roots. Never in my years of exploring had I seen something like this in such a cold area.

For some odd reason, it seemed to be getting darker and darker. Though there was some enchanting atmosphere that called to me. Calling me deeper and deeper into the thicket. For some reason, I couldn't help but squint as I see a bright light in front of me. I continued to walk towards it and came upon a small clearing of tall grass.

Blinking, the scene that I saw was so magnificent it was unbelievable. If she didn't have proof, nobody would probably believe that this had happened. Before my eyes, the distinct Aurora Borealis were visible, but there was something... just a tad off about it's appearence. It was shaped like a beautiful woman. I could feel my heart stop as I stared at her in awe. She obviously noticed me and turned her head and glanced at me. Her eyes glanced up and down, as if she were summing me up as a predator. Her multi-colored hair fluttered as she turned, and she was the definition of beauty and grace. The spirit spoke with a commanding yet soothing voice, "Come here child."

I was compelled to come clower to her not knowing whether she posed a threat or not. "Your heart is pure and intentions good." The spirit closed her eyes and the distortion of colors around her floated into the air. In a seemingly endless moment, every shade of every color was visibile.

Personality: Key is rather laid-back, he enjoys the simple pleasures in life. Though he can be quite strict, he likes to have fun. Before he came to work here, he usually partnered up with Nova for their field adventures. But when Nova left for Alaska to see the Aurora Borealis, he decided to stay behind for some unknown personal reasons.

Appearence: Nova can be found wearing a variety of things. She usually sticks to a rough pair of black jeans and a short T-Shirt. Unusually, she's rather pale, though she claims she spends a lot of time outside. Perhaps it's hereditery. She has a European/Asian look to her and is quite polite.
Personality: Though she's quiet when you first meet her, she has a rather infectious personality. She can get very hyper at times and she enjoys life almost as much as Key does. They both get along pretty well and always have each other's backs. Nova is a rather sweet girl, though she hides a lot of mysteries about her past, present, and future.

Occupation: Co-owner
Family: She comes from a nicely brought up family in New York City. She has 1 sister, which travels around the world to invest time in learning about her field in medicine, and 1 brother, which is studying in Europe to become a physician. Her mother is retired and lives by herself in a house in Southern Florida. Her father, on the other hand, died because of a stroke and was cremated. His ashes were blown away on the coast of California into the wide, open ocean.
Age: 15
Appearance: She loves changing clothes often. So you can see her in a variety of different outfits. She usually is wearing something bright and more girly than Nova. Xtie can usually be found wearing a white shirt with a blue skirt, adding a black belt, tie, and hat. She has a little over shoulder length hair, that's black and wraps around her face.
Personality: Xtie is a sweet and charming young girl. Sometimes it is very hard for her to meet new people because she tends to just talk to one person, Nova. But once you meet her she can be very quirky and wierd and a little brainy. She can be very annoying some times and everybody knows she can't keep a secret for long.

Child: Will last for one week. They are very small and gentle at this stage. They do not have their eyes open yet. They're about the size of a small, very small kitten. They're very fragile so be careful. Children all start out with a simple symbol or to so if your baby only has a few stripes, that's not what it'll look like forever.

Adolescant: This stage will last for 1 and half weeks. They're not fully grown yet, and still have a bit of their baby cuteness! Their eyes have fully opened at this stage and they're rather curious creatures now. They can speak a little, but it's still very premature and you have to teach them! They're about two feet tall now, standing up. Now the markings are starting to develop, gaining a little more pizzaz.

Adult: It will last for forever. Unless your lucky enough to reach the elder stage. They matured far now and have picked up their english from you. Now they are more like guardians though they still have a playful nature. Females and males start varying now and males are usually larger than females. Though the adults can be around 2.5-3.5 feet tall. The markings are evolved and pretty much beautiful, each medaria is unique.

Elder: This stage, if you reached it, will last forever. Your Medaria is fully grown now. It's grown wiser and lived through many experiences. They still have their playfull touch to them and are still as hyper as ever. Medaria's are spirits so they are immortal. Elders are around 4 feet tall. Males generally bulkier than females. Elders have the most intricate, patterns. Nothing really beats this.

Sometimes Nova returns to the clearing to see if she has any new instructions from the spirits and sometimes she'll find little medaria left in the snow. She doesn't know if they're abandoned or not but she just has a feeling... That they belong with a guardian so she'll take them back here...

One thing before you continue on. Breeding is a very sacred ritual and is not completely like what we think. Because Medarias were sent down to Earth from the heavens, they have a different method of reproduction, something a little more spiritual.
When two medaria feel like they're wanting children, the ceremony they do is passed down from generation to generation. The medaria sit next to each other and hold their paws out, touching the other's paw. Then they summon all of the energy they have to pull out the half of life force that keeps them alive and combine the two halves into one.
What happens after this is very vague, Nova only knows what she has been told, but the whole life force returns to the female, thus impregnating her. And then in about a week to two weeks, the babies are born.
Because breeding required them to pull out half of their life source, they can only breed once every month, giving time for them to regenerate. And they will only be able to breed about three times in their immortal lives. If they breed any more than that, once the babies are born, the Medarias return to the heavens.

- Medarias can only breed when the reach adult stage
- Please make sure there is a breeding slot open before asking for one.
- Rp is not required to breed, but if you do rp is has a more likely chance to recieve more babies.
- The price to breed is 10k
- You will always recieve 2-4 eggs.

One day Nova found these little creatures hopping around in the clearing that the Medarias were found in.
Their species from left to right is: Afifa and Karima

Can they be rped?
Yes they may be rped by you.

Can they breed?
At this time, No but maybe later.

Do you have to own a Medaria to own a familiar?
No you don't.

How can I get a one?
Mostly through flatsales, events, sometimes raffles. and maybe auctions.

Can I request a custom familiar?
Yes if there is a slot open.

How much are they?
In flatsales, they will be 1k unless noted.

Do familiars go on the same cert of my medaria or do they have their own?
This can go either way, you may ask either Flower or Nova to move your familiar to their own cert or on the same cert of your medaria.

Q: How can I get one?
A: You can obtain a pet through flatsales, auctions, raffles, and contests.

Q: Will they be able to breed?
A: They will be able to breed once they reach adult stage.Breeding is not rp required, but if you rp you have a chance to get more eggs.

Q: How long does a Medaria take to grow?
A:The baby will take about a week to grow. The adolescent stage will a take another week and half. And the adult stage is forever. :D Or... is it? o_o Though take note that it varies depending on what's going on and whatnot.

Q: When does my Medaria grow to an elder?
A: Question is, is your Medaria going to get there? The elder stage requires attention and rp and activeness. You'll be rewarded for doing those things. <3 Also, most elders and the more expensive customs will go all the way up to elder.

Q: Do you accept Pet trades?
A: Yes and no. I'm really picky about my pets but don't hesitate to pm this account if there's a slot open. The worst thing I could do is say no. :/

Q: Where do we rp?
A: For now just right in the main thread.
