I am currently a member of an active Gaia guild. We used to be on Ezboard but decided due to various reasons to splinter off into Gaia. Now, our usual forum is entirely purple with gold trimming and a good deal of users would like to see this colour scheme in our Gaia Guild, so my proposal is this:
We need a way of customising our guilds, maybe something as simple as a colour change function, a set selection of templates or maybe even the ability to work CSS into it like the profile system and have it fully customisable . This would make for a good goldsink and would make guilds more popular as there will be something more for people to do to them, not to mention making the whole place look better.
A lot of people would like to feel at home in their guilds and the current colour scheme does not achieve this, being able to change it would make the whole process of visiting guilds a lot more pleasurable and could induce more guild activity.
Possible features:
CSS.
Templates.
Colour change button.
Ability to change the layout, like in the new profile system. (thankyou to Kei Nabilajira for this one)
Background music and a section for files, both to cost a lot so the privilege is not abused. (Thankyou to Forgotten Hanyou for these)
