9/16/06 - It's been decided! The event/plot update will be taking place September 22nd through the 28th. More details will be in the Events section shortly.
9/10/06 - I apologize greatly for my abscene do to the death fo my tablet, the birth of my new tablet and the starting of school. I'd like everyone to stop by and say hello to our new staff member, Aeraen Sirce! Welcome Aeraen! Also, don't think I forgot about the Event! It WILL be happening within the month.
8/12/06 - Congrats Kaze Taco on winning the Dragon Sea Moth specimen. We'll be having our first ever event in the upcoming week or so. Please stick around to read details.
7/31/06 - Congrats to those who won! Tomorrow we will be raffleing off the Dragon Sea Moth, example of the Sea Moth is in the FS category. The ticket buying will start at 3 PM EST.
7/27/06 - The flatsale will start today at 6 PM EST, and will end 7/30 at 6 PM EST.
7/24/06 - The flatsale animals have been decided for 7/27. We will have the Dragon Sea Moth, Caribbean Monk Seal & Burmeister's Porpoise up for grabs in the flatsale.
7/21/06 - The 7/20 flatsale will be rescheduled for 7/26 because of the short Haitus.

6/16/06 - BIG ANNOUNCEMENT. Dr. Peterson and I will be gone for the next few days, we should be back by Monday, if not earlier, but it's a heads up to everyone.
6/4/06 - The flatsale for today is going to be at 6 PM EST. Like all the other's it will be prompt based so everyone has a fair shot, and so if you decide to RP we know how you RP. Examples of the pets will be down in the Flatsales section.
5/31/06 - Flatsale fish for 6/4/06 have been decided by you, the stalking customers! Our Flatsale Fish this round are the Magnificient Foxface, the Marbled Bamboo Cat Shark, and the Snowflake Eel. We hope to see you around to try for them!
5/18/06 - There are still several days left for the raffle and then it will be closed. The new poll for next flatsales fish are up. The next flatsale will be 6/4/06, June 4th. June 23rd, we will be holding our first auction. A custom animal auction. So stay tunned for that.
5/14/06 - Congrats [SMD] and Kanjii for paticipating in the first selection of lab assistants! Unfortunantly, because the Clwon Fish was not tried for we will be raffleing him off throughout the week! You'll be able to start purchasing tickets Monday evening!
5/12/06 - It has been decided that tomorrow the first selling of lab spots will be held at approximately 7 PM EST. The three animal spots chosen for this sell are the following: Seahorse, Clown Fish, Volitan Lionfish.

According to Dr. Peterson the mutation for the deeper dwelling marine life happened in what she has dubbed as 'stages'. The mutation process progressed at different rates depending on where the animal dwelled and how much contact they had with the surface world.



According to the her notes, Dr. Peterson explained that the life expectancy for an egg to hatch was slightly over half. In her observations she noted that the hatching of an egg was the quickest stage of the mutation process. Only days after an egg was laid, did it hatch.

When an egg hatches it seems virtually untainted. The chemicals don't seem have to effected it on any level. However if you look closely and note it carefully, this stage of the mutation process has made the animal smarter and more able bodied to pick up on any dangers or attractions around them. They're becoming more aware and curious.

At this stage the mutations within the animal have become more apparent. Human-like head, arms and body have started to grow and extend from the torso region and the simplest of human linguistics can be heard from the animal's newly acquired mouth. At this stage they are eager to learn how to use their new appendages and to converse with the surface world. They're more direct in what they want and test news ways of how to get it.

By now the mutation has affected the animal as a whole and has caused it to grow beyond its normal rate. Its human characteristics have become more refined and are continuously developing. The mutated animal should be able to communicate well with the surface world, having almost full mastery of human linguistics. It has become aware of itself and the world around it as a whole. At this stage it is more interested in knowing the species around it than knowing how or why things work.

It seems at this point the animal is fully mutated and grown, having much little growing left the animal takes up looking for a mate and furthering the species. It may still be interested in the learning of new things, but most of its day is spent lounging away.

2. Be kind and courteous to everyone.
3. Do not PM the owners about getting a pet.
4. Questions should be directed to the Phinn account or in the thread.
5. Do not bring your drama here, we don't want it.
6. Do not guilt trip or discourage people from trying for a pet.
7. Do not bribe owners for their pet.
8. Any discrepancies with the creators should be dealt with over PM.
9. Do not spam the thread.
10. Failure to adhere to the rules above could possibly mean forfeit of ones pet depending on severity.
