Contests


The Lottery:

To enter the lottery, send a trade to bloody_massacre containing the proper amount of gold for the number of tickets you wish to buy. Each ticket costs 1 gold, and you may buy as many as you'd like. There are 50 billion of them. Your trade title should include the word 'Lotto' or 'Lottery' and the number of tickets you wish to purchase. The winner will be determined, after all tickets have been sold, using Gaia's random number generator.


The Bump Contest:

In order to enter the bump contest, you must have bought at least 100 tickets for the lottery. In order to qualify, you must have at least 500 bumps. You need to number your bumps, and there is no cheating allowed. After all tickets for the lottery have been sold, the three top bumpers will recieve their prizes.


The Avi Contest:

In order to enter the avatar contest, you must have bought at least 100 tickets for the lottery. Your avatar in the contest will change with how you dress up, be aware of that. The winner will be determined using an in-thread poll. The contest will start after we have 25 contestants, and end once all lottery tickets have been sold.

Page Contests:

I will award prizes to people who post in a certain place on certain pages. They will recieve their prizes after all lottery tickets have been sold. In order to win a page prize, you must have bought at least 10 tickets for the lotto. In progress:

Referal Contest:

In order to enter the referal contest, you must have bought at least 50 tickets for the lotto. What you do is that you advertise the lotto (But only where you're allowed to biggrin ) in other threads or in your own thread and what not, and have people PM me saying who refered them. I will keep track of the number of referals on this thread, and at the end of the lotto, the person with the most referals wins!

NEW Random Contest:

Every once in a while, I will have a riddle, a trivia question, a dice game, or something like that up on this page. The person to win the contest gets a certain number of free tickets, depending on how I feel at the time.

Current:
The first one to name my favourite sport, one piece of equipment required to play, and the kind of terrain on which it's played wins 2,500 free tickets! I'm offering so many tickets because it's a very uncommon sport and you probably won't get it.

18/05/06 The ticket price has been lowered! They are now only 1 gold each! That means that those who had already bought tickets, their ticket number has been multiplied by 10.

26/05/06 I added some more prizes for the bump and avatar contests. There will now be 20 top bumpers and 8 avi winners.

16/05/06 I'm now offering a small reward for anyone who can make a decent banner for the lotto. Because the one I made kinda sucks on ice.
