~Story~


Our story begins in a world not unlike our own. Far off in the regions of space there is a land ruled by magic and technology. Long ago, this land had a great war, causing the two sides of this world to cause harm to each other. The Gods grew tired of this long war. When they looked upon the world they had created, they sighed with disgust and sorrow. Why had their land become so filled with hatred? There was one solution. The Gods stopped this world from rotating. One land was thrown into darkness while the other was bathed in eternal sunshine.

Thousands of years later, the world grew. Both sides of this planet grew and refused to give up to death's oblivion. Rwa, the continent basked in eternal, golden sunlight, grew strong in technology. They had found many uses for their newfound technology. The most used was a weapon called a gun. The inner most part of this continent used this weapon the most, while the outer islands refused to use them. They were an abomination against the warrior spirit, so they said.

The capital of Rwa was a city in the middle of a vast desert, settled on a large oasis(like many Rwaick cities). Many oasis's were made by magic weilders, using water magic to force water from deep within the land. This water magic was used to help the people survive. The capitol's name was Sobek, the city of glass. Many glass pyramids took residence in this city, used as greenhouses. The palace contained a large technology department and a magical arts school. As for the outter areas of Rwa, they were covered in large Rainforests and enhabitted by villages and settlements.

The other side of this world was the Tortokien Empire. Cold, forgotten land from the people on the light side of this world. A sky of black velvet and diamonds never left from above the Tortokien people. The moon never shined, as though to taunt the people below. The innermost area of this continent was based on an ice sheet and held the capital of this land, Ellesmere. This city was cold and desolate, and contained few people. An Ice Castle watched over the land below, never melting and standing strong. The outter lands of this continent were covered in rolling hills and swamplands. Lamp posts were strewn everywhere lit with a magical ever-burning light, the light magic they used to survive. Each lampost was covered in vines, seeming to grab at the light, yet never reaching it. Many magical schools were through this land, and technology was feared.

A long time had passed since the great war, but the people from this world never forgot about their neighbors from the other side. The people from Rwa feared the darkness. "Demons live there. They will wait for you to lose your light and swallow you whole!" Many people believed.

Tortok was no different. They feared the light, saying it would destroy them all. "Demons live there! They blind you with light, then burn you alive!"

But sadly, each side was wrong. They feared what they had forgotten. The world had lived together at one point. The many people created the world they live in. The diversity and differences is what made them who they are. They had forgotten to live in harmony.

2. Romance will be kept PG13.
3. No killing unless both players are in agreement.
4. Just to see if your reading... PM all profiles with the subject, "Rocket Monkey."
5. If I ask you to leave, do so. One warning and then I'll report.
6. This is a big one. Be literate. No exceptions. No **'s, --'s, .::.'s, etc.
7. Absolutely no one liners. I hate them.
8. No flaming.
9. I enjoy a good fight, so its all open. No whining.
10. Keep quotes to a ******** minimum. NO PAGE STRETCHING! Got it? Good.
11. When speaking OoC Please use either OoC: or (( )). (This includes all brackets. [[ ]]'s and {{ }}'s.)
12. If I myself am not online, all questions, concerns, complaints, and reports are to go directly to Davin Miroux. Just don't piss him off.
13. Davin also has the right to enforce these rules... So listen to him.
14. If you wish to discover a city or village, please PM Davin or myself.
15. Please, everyone, we can't all start on the dark side of the world...

Tatankah was sitting in his small office, feet up on his desk, lounging. He hadn't had a customer in a while, and was wondering if anyone had caught on. He stood up and turned on the ceiling fan, hoping it would cool him down. When he opened the window shades, the hot sun barreled down on him. He let out a large sigh, and quickly closed them.

"How can these people survive in this hell?" He asked no one. He looked at the clock on the wall and decided it was time to go and get lunch. His stomach growl loudly. He walked back to his desk and pulled out a drawer. He pulled out a satchel and closed it quickly, then walked out the door.
