Despite how obvious this one might seem, it still needs to be said - Do not take, alter and/or claim any and all of the artwork. Same goes with any and all characters (and their respective bio/concepts) featured throughout. Remember: No one likes a thief, no matter what kind s/he is.

01. Please follow and aheed to all of Gaia's Terms and Conditions, along with the specific guidelines set out for this thread.

02. Keep in mind the Golden Rule: Treat others as you, yourself, would like to be treated in return. Fighting/arguing/harrassing of others in the thread will not be tolerated.

03. Do not copy the thread's layout or content. It might not look like it, but I did spend a bit of time on it all.

For those interested in offering their services, please fill out the form given (some posts) below and post it within this thread.

01. Do not do art without an agreement between the two of us regarding payment details and whatnot. In the event that this is done, please take care to realise that I will not pay, and consider the recieved art as being a freebie.

02. Feel free to post links to auctions, but do so knowing that chances are I won't be interested.

03. If I choose not to commission you, please don't take it personally. Your art is probably just not what I'm looking for, nor interested in at the moment.

04. Do not bother applying if you have a long list of people waiting for art at the moment.

05. In addition to number three .. please don't be offended if the sole means of declining is a simple 'no'. It's just easier than always having to find other ways of letting someone know.

I reserve the right to be displeased with how a commission came out. If I feel it is far from what I expected (going based on CCQP) then either I'll ask for a redo, dock payment or refuse to pay at all. I haven't had too much of a problem with stuff, however so ... I hope never to have to do this lest it be in extreme cases. x_x;

Consistancy: I expect to get what is requested. That means if I request a CGed fullbody, I expect to get just that and not something else such as a picture done in oekaki or traditional media. It also means that if I ask for art of a certain character, I expect to get art ... of that character.

Communication: Keep me informed, please. This doesn't mean that artists have to send me constant updates on how things are progressing, art-wise (though I would love it if they could); However, it does mean that I would appreciate being let in on what's going on, even if it's just something like "Hey, I know I told you I would get something done by such-and-such time, however ... some things have come up, and I'm afraid it's going to take me longer than that."

Quality: Please have finished art be of at least same quality as the examples shown when first applying and/or posted for an auction. After all, those are what helps someone (or at least me) decide whether or not to be interested in commissioning an artist and/or bidding ...

This also means that I would appreciate that it looks as if time/effort was put into the art, and that it's not evident or looks as if things were BSed/half-assed/rushed.

... I'm fed up with recieving pictures of such ... quality (or lack thereof).

Punctuality: I'm not going to be a complete a** about this, because I can understand that factors can toss a wrench into a person's plans, or whatnot. The fact remains, though, that when putting down a certain amount of time to get a commission finished, it can only be expected that it will be finished by then.

A grace period will be given to those who exceed their stated timeframe, however ... one of a month, starting after the original timeframe has ended. If such time has passed and there has been no sign or word of the artist and/or status, then the commission will be voided, and any pending trades cancelled.

For artists being commissioned as a result of an auction, a default timeframe of one and a half to two months is given until things are voided and trade(s) cancelled.

(*) While I have nothing against shoujo-ai/yuri/femslash, the fact remains that I no plans whatsoever to have (a) 'canon' (to me) femalexfemale pairing(s). I, er, guess that people could suggest ones to me, if just for drawing purposes. Just don't be disheartened if I say no.

Weapon of Choice: magic.
Mount: charcoal black stallion, with silverish-grey mane and tail.

Background: Ever since he was a mere infant, Ashura grew up thinking of Elijah as his father, and Joshua as his brother. He held no knowledge of his past. However, as soon as he was old enough to understand, he was informed of the fact that the ones he lived with at the moment weren't his biological relations, and that his real parents had died in a 'tragic accident'.

It wasn't until he was eighteen, that the real truth of his heritage was revealed and the true meaning of the medallion he wore found out ...

Personality: Somewhat more outspoken than Joshua tends to be, at times it's hard to pinpoint just where Ashura's coming from due to ableness to switch gears without warning. Rather cheerful most of the time, it's also not uncommon to see him go from being talkative one moment to downright silent the next; the latter often occuring should something occur which dampens his usually perpetual happy mood. However, in his bad habit of wishing to keep negative things to himself, the silence normally doesn't last for long.

Another bad habit of his is how, at times, he holds an almost childish naiviety in his ideals that all men (and women) are inherantly good, and no one is one hundred percent 'evil'. Though, that's far from meaning he doesn't realise that chances are there is mere black and white in the phase of some things; he just would rather think in shades of grey.

Trustworthy and loyal to a fault, there isn't much that Ashura wouldn't do if he could for someone he loves or considers a friend. He also has nothing against giving second chances ... over and over and over again, never minding the fact that in a lot of cases, those extra chances were far from being deserved.

He is rather passionate about the things he believes in to the point of downright obstinance at times, and it's not unheard of to find Joshua and him getting into an argument of sorts over what seems to be the smallest of things.

Paige (sister; alive): If one were to just observe the way in which Colin interacts with his sister, they would easily be able to see just how much he cares for her. Neither would it be wrong to say that he adores her - because he does. Despite the constant teasing he might direct towards his younger sibling, the two are as close as siblings could be and he holds both an affectionate and protective attitude towards her.

Height: 6'0"
Weight: 130lbs
Frame: Thin and slender.
Hair: dark, blackish-green (more green than black). It's waistlength, and worn braided almost all of the time . . . though, now and then, he can be found with his hair tied back in a loose ponytail at the nape of his neck, or with it down. The latter is mostly when he's heading off to bed.
Eyes: gold; if angered or saddened, the colour shifts to a dark amber.

Personality: Raised up with all the education one would expect someone of noble blood to get, Colin was also well taught in mannerisms befitting a lord and future marquess. Gentlemanly and chivalrous, he remains an otherwise quiet and reserved young man; one who prefers to let actions speak instead of words, as well as keep to himself whenever he's able. Due to such behaviour is one of the many reasons as to why Colin is often thought to be somewhat 'aloof', and stuck up - although, in all truth, he is anything but. One of the sole people who seems able to bring him 'out of his shell' is his younger sister, Paige; and even then, that's only when the two are alone. On the other hand, when he does speak to those aside from his sibling, he tends to be softspoken and rarely, if ever, raises his voice.

Clothing: Black, long-sleeved turtleneck shirt with a white (or light grey) sleeveless, collared tunic-esque shirt over it with gold 'trimming' (see here for a brief idea of what I'm talking about; here for a better visual of what the tunic looks like (just without sleeves)). His slacks are of a light creme/tan colour. He has ONE shoulderguard on his left shoulder, and chest armour - all of which is a dark blue in colour, with gold 'trimming' (see here for a general idea of what the chest armour looks like). He wears elbow-length dark brown (or black) leather gloves, and dark brown (or black - whatever matches his gloves) boots, which are just a tad short of his knees in height. Oh, and can't forget about his cloak - it's dark green, with optional underside of gold (if that made any sense) or belt (dark brown/black). In regards to jewelry, he has ONE gold earring in his RIGHT ear (it looks like this). (optional: lance/spear)

Background:

Personality: Far from being how he used to be when he was younger, Eric prefers to not speak and keep to himself. The sole times he ever seems to 'open up' is when he's alone with his summons, and the rare times when he does talk to someone aside from then, his whole speaking mannerisms seem to give the feeling that he's unsure of what to say ... almost to the point where one could say he's afraid. Though that might not be too far from the truth.

Due to what happened in his past, he closes himself off from others in an attempt to shelter himself from being hurt again, and to keep from feeling the pain of abandonment or hearbreak once more.

Though all attempts fail when a certain brown-haired mercenary barges into his life, and starts to tear down the once strong walls he'd built, and begins to make him feel again.

Personality: Living most of his life behind castle walls, James grew up to be a smart, cheerful young man with a highly optimistic view on life. Due to being raised in such a sheltered environment, he also lacked the knowledge and remains innocent and naive in all matters pertaining to (romantic) love, lust and (obviously) sex. (more will be added at a later time; nutshell: energetic/cheerful, innocent, naive, gregarious, compassionate ..)

Clothing: Sleeveless tunic-esque, collared light cream-coloured shirt with crimson, gold -or- black 'trimming'; tied around the waist by a black belt with silver buckle. Dark grey Slacks/pants and another buckle-less brown 'belt' of sorts which holds his quiver (of arrows) around his waist and has four hanging 'straps' (black or dark silver) connected to it on either side of his waist. Black shoulderguard armour piece with silver 'trimming' connected to chest armour (see here for an idea of what the chest armour looks like .. o.< wink He also has a golden circlet about his forehead and a similar band around his upper right arm. He also has an earring in his right ear, along with black boots that fall just a tad short of his knees and black leather gloves. Oh, and can't forget his cloak (dark red/crimson). >_>; Kind of optional, but preferred is his bow .. after all, kind of pointless to have his quiver of arrows and no bow. *nod*

Background:

Personality: Despite the fact that he has no idea of his past, or even his real name, Kai continues to be a rather upbeat and cheerful person. Even in what some would consider the most dire of situations, he continues to keep an optimistic view of things, preferring to think that not all things are as bad as they're made out to be and that even the darkest cloud has its silver lining.

He's rather honest and often blunt to the point of coming off as sounding harsh or 'mean', even when such things are the far from being the 'meanings' on his mind ... he just doesn't like the feeling of hiding things, or keeping things from others, even if such an attitude causes more hurt than he wants at times; however, he does make a quite true and loyal friend to have.

Kai abhors violence, although he is well learned in the ways of the sword and, regardless of that fact, will fight when and if necessary.

Personality: Mischiveous from the moment he was able to comprehend his surroundings and walk, Joseph was constantly getting in trouble growing up - So it was no real surprise that in the end he ended up taking the path of a 'thief' . . . after all, one of his favourite pasttimes happened to be picking locks and stealing anything of worth that wasn't bolted down. His kleptomaniac tendencies began to die down a little as he grew older, though . . . although that doesn't mean he stopped his thievery altogether. Otherwise, he tends to be a fairly laidback sort of guy; one who doesn't seem to have a care in the world aside from his occupational 'duties' and the wellbeing of those whom he cares for. His manner of speaking in general tends to be blunt; no beating around the bush for him unless he's in the mood to taunt/tease someone.

Clothing: Short-sleeved dark blue shirt (can be with or without sleeves) with a 'v'-cut neckline and a dark blue vest-like piece of clothing over it; the shirt is kept untucked over a pair of snugfitting, dark tan pants. Left hand has a black glove which goes just a bit past his wrist, while the other has a simple, black stitched armguard with what looks to be bandages of sorts covering it. No armour, although he does have a black cloak with or without a visable clasp (silver). His boots are black and fall short of reaching his knees, and he also has a black bandana/headband and a dark brown belt with a hanging hoop or two for his set of lockpicks, along with a dark brown sheath hanging at a somewhat 'slanted' angle for his sword. (like this) Jewerly-wise, he has TWO gold earrings in his RIGHT ear (they look like this).

Personality: Cheerful and always one to lend a hand or be there for someone else. Somewhat talkative, regardless of the current mood or situation, he seems to always uphold a positive and optimistic attitude. Although, despite his usual 'upbeat'ness, there are moments when he's serious and straight to the point, should the need or occasion rise. He tends to be a flirt among the male population, and is an otherwise steadfast and loyal friend/companion.

Clothing:
01) Black turtleneck shirt, tannish/creme coloured slacks, knee-high brown boots and dark green armour. Oh, and can't forget the belt (brown). (optional: armour; if drawing Kain with his armour, the boots should go over the pants. :3)

Personality: At first hand, it would be hard to tell that Mark's a tactician by trade considering that his tactics are anything but good (and it's a wonder that those under his command are still alive!) But even so, he tries his best to his job well, despite the failures and setbacks that seem to follow his attempts. He also tends to be oblivious in regards to some of the things said about him, and some of the things that go on around him. He also has a tendency to get lost a lot, courtesy of his lack of directional sense and is a natural klutz. Soft-spoken and prone to avoid confrontation as much as possible, while it's not unheard of to see her smile, it's also not all that common .. on the flip side, however, it isn't as if she's frowning all the time either. Those who are able to gain her trust can remain well assured that she'd prove to be a loyal and true friend.

Colin & Paige: Having been serious about the task of protecting his sister, and sole other sibling, there have been times later on in life when Paige seemed to become a tad exasperated at her older brother. Despite that, and regardless of the age gap between them, the two are quite close and Paige remains one of the only ones able to bring Colin 'out of his shell'. Joshua loved Ashura, Lore loved Ashura, and Ashura loved both of them ... nothing seemed able to bring the three (or at least Joshua and Lore) to a mutual understanding of just what their relationship was, and meant. However, over a period of time, and after dealing with various challenges and obstacles thrown in their path, it became apparant that there was something stronger than the three tying their destinies together ... and, in the end, all three 'completed' one another.
