Farlest::
Race:: Unknown
Age:: Unknown - appears about 25
Physical appearance:: Long black hair, often worn in a ponytail on this particular adventure. Emerald green eyes and an easy smile. He's taken up the little art of summoning and otherwise dabbling in powers that he knows something about, but probably not enough to count as being 'safe'.
This time around he's taken on the traditional garb of a monk, but otherwise appears to have nothing to do with the order. His clothing is black, as always, and he has just begun to truly explore the world he lives in, hoping to gain both experiences and life lessons from it.

Sajan:: A rather inexperienced, talkative, and unafraid Asura uke. So far he has met Dasharath in his own world, coming under the seme's protection if nothing else...and exploring and learning how to control his own potent power.
Little does he know, however, that he is to be yanked from the plane he calls home...in all probability he shall be one grumpy summon...no matter how skilled the summoner.

Sephiroth: A rather lovely shakujo that has just been attained by Zakai under the watchful care of his mentor, Angeal...together they have just summoned a most...unique... Asura...

Tarak:: A rather haughty Seme...with a strikingly beautiful color combination. With other Asuras he is civil...even pleasant, but considers most humans beneath him...even his own summoner.

Life is oft full of little surprises...or so Farlest had always been told. The young man strode along a dusty stretch of ground that may at one point in its long existence been a pathway...but was no more, as it looked as drab and uninviting as the rest of the terrain...an entire landscape that...unless one was poetic in the extreme...could do naught but bore and tire-out a traveler within it.
Such was Farlest, the bored traveler, with a scroll in his hand which he was attempting to study...but had to keep pausing to swipe sweat out of his eyes with the back of his hand, though the young man's face was the perfect picture of concentration.
He had to get this spell right...he really had too...mind you, he had no 'conductor' as they called it in this particular text...to summon such powerful beings as were described...but one never knew when one might need such a thing.
The dark-haired man had attempted several summonings...some successful and some...not so successful...he had as his experience the teachings of an ex-monk...one who had left the order in something akin to disgrace...though what the shame was his mentor would never say.
And so Farlest hadn't pried...surprisingly.
"Curses... it's hot..." He protested to the sun above him, as if expecting the gleaming orb to shade itself somehow and give him a reprieve from the oppresive heat. Buf of course...no such luck...he wasn't that powerful a dabbler in the wielding of chakra and other powers akin to it.
He was still intent on the text before him, when fate took a hand in the young would-be summoner's life...a rather large hand.
He tripped, going sprawling face-down in the dirt, getting a mouth and nose-ful of the dust he'd been kicking up all day...much to his chagrin. Green eyes sparkled angrily at whatever offending object had dared to hamper his mobility...
He cast a glance over his shoulder...and to his ever-astonished surprise and confusion...there on the ground...in the absolute middle of nowhere...lay a shakujo...a staff to match the robes he wore...and one such as had been described --in detail-- in the scroll that he had just dropped.
Forgetting the dusty state of both himself and his robes, Farlest seized his prize, marveling at the smooth wood and exquisite craftsmanship...this indeed must be one of those special items of power he had so diligently studied about...a priceless object.
Using it as a prop so that he might clamber back onto his feet, he grinned cockily...now no one would laugh at him when he called himself a summoner... (though if he'd left off the 'extraordinare' they might have been more inclined to believe him in the first place)
Now...now he needed to find a place...a place where he would perform his greatest achievement yet...and test out those fabled and famed spells.

[-RP Log: Ryu and Farlest-]
Number 1
Farlest yawned, now down to a slow trudge. He was tired...dead tired...having been walking for the past several days in no particular direction. The butt end of the Shakujo in his hand kept trailing in the dust and and a decided droop in his posture. "I swear..." And he did...repeatedly. There was a...building of sorts just up ahead...it looked like a temple. Hmm...well...perhaps the monks or whatever there were there would be nice enough to at least let him stay the night. Camping out was just a wee bit dangerous out here...only a wee bit...that and he really hadn't had any luck as of late other than finding that Shakujo. He had -something- wrong with the summoning spell, but he couldn't figure out what it was.
Humming slighlty, he poked his head outside just to check, not really expecting anyone to be out there. And blinked when he spotted the one figure coming up the road. Well, damn. Maybe he wouldn't be alone tonight after all. He sighed slightly, blowing a stray lock of hair out of his face. He eyed the other. Well. It looked to be another monk, one of the wandering sort. That might not be -too- bad.
He always hated having to depend on anyone else...as it was always a tentative thing and never lasted. Never lasted because he could trust no one. He eyed the staff balefully...well...maybe some idiot at that temple would know what to do about it. Checking again to see that his hair hid his...unique...physical feature, the young man finally found himself in the shadow of the temple...well...here goes nothing...
He'd ducked back inside by that point, and tilted his head at that knock on the door. He padded over and opened it. "Saw you coming down the road, come on in," he offered, opening the door a bit wider. The outer room was little more than a place for people to leave their shoes and any outer wear. Once past that, the main room of the temple was mostly taken up by a large altar ... and a case with a Shakujo inside of it.
Stepping inside and sliding off his sandals...he peered curiously at the Shakujo a moment...before turning to his host. "Thank you." He bowed respectfully at the waist, hair spilling over his shoulders. He was indeed tired and this would be a welcome rest. The rings of his own Shakujo clinked softly as he moved.
He eyed that Shakujo, having also seen that earlier ... but didn't ask any questions. "Guess you want a place to stay for the night?" he asked bluntly. He really didn't care what this other monk thought about formality and all that. It had been a long day and he was tired and well ... it didn't really matter. Not all that much.
He cocked his head, eyeing the other a long moment. "If it isn't too much trouble." He said quietly, wondering if perhaps he'd offended the other somehow...well...he had shown up from nowhere. With the mood this guy seemed to have he probably wouldn't be too tolerant of...much. He raised a hand to brush some hair back behind his ear in a habitual motion, but stopped himself just in time. Dammit...far too much time alone.
He blinked at that tone, then waved a hand. "Nono, it's all right, I didn't mean to sound unwelcoming and all that," he said. "C'mon, I think I've got enough food for two as well." He headed back into a slightly smaller room with a firepit and sleeping mats on the floor.
He followed him, just glad he hadn't done anything. He was rather used to being yelled at for no reason...he'd been -raised- that way...of course, this was a far cry from that. "Mmm...thank you." He strode over and sat down on the floor crosslegged, not knowing what else to do.
He stole small glances at the other monk as he finished cooking, wondering several things. Not the least of which being about that Shakujo he had. Eventually, the food was finished and he fished out some bowls and chopsticks, handing one bowl and a set of those to the other.
He accepted gratefully, smiling, "Thank you." Setting the onyx-ringed Shakujo on the floor beside him, he ate slowly...seeming to relish each bite. He had been living on fairly meager rations as of late.
He continued to watch the other over his own bowl, copper eyes blinking slightly. "Just how long -have- you been wandering around?" he asked after a few minutes.
He grinned wryly, "About as long as I realized I could...that I didn't have to stay in the village I was raised in." It had been...preferable... Huh...the other monk had some seriously odd-colored eyes...
He caught a bit of that in his tone and didn't pry any farther into it. It wasn't likely that the other would stay long anyway. He blinked. "Hey, what's your name anyway? Sorry I completely forgot ... I'm Ryu."
That smile became a true one, "I'm Farlest. And thank you again for taking in a wandering misfit like myself." He once again had to stop his hand from brushing back that dark hair...damn those little habits.
He shrugged. "S'kinda my job," he replied, smiling back. "And you're a hell of a lot better than the pilgrims that come through here. They all want to stay up all night ... praying or something ... which means I don't get any sleep either." He never complained around Miyugi-san but well ... it -did- get annoying.
He made a face, clearly portraying his distaste, "I'm of the opinion that devotion can go a bit -too- far." He, after all, wasn't a wanderer by choice really...not some pilgrim on a holy quest...he simply...had an interest in it more than anything. Not that he was going to admit it.
"Exactly!" he said, grinning. He actually liked this one, which was a nice change. And it was for that reason that he offered ... "D'you want to stay for a few days? I'm by myself here until Miyugi-san gets back. This is actually his temple, but he's gone for the week."
He bit his lip, first impulse being to say yes, but hesitating just a moment. It was always a risk to stay around people for any length of time. "Yes..." Was the answer that finally came...he had also liked this fellow upon first impression and he'd missed having someone to talk too other than inanimate objects and himself. "Yes I think I'd like that."
Ryu grinned at that. He actually wouldn't mind some company such as this promised. With Miyugi-san gone, he'd been realizing how lonely it could get around here. And this guy didn't set off any mental alarms or make him irritable like a lot of people seemed to do. He figured that was just something else weird about him and tried to ignore it. Miyugi-san refused to talk about his ... oddities ... except to say that he should keep them hidden. And not worry about them. Yea right.
Farlest laughed softly, "Y'know...this is going to be the first time in a good while that I've stayed someplace for more than a few hours. I hardly know what to do with myself." He found himself marveling at the simple pleasure of being able to talk to another living being...one that could actually answer him in kind.
He shrugged. "For now, eat. Then sleep. There's plenty of extra mats around. Then we can figure out more in the morning, ne?"
He nodded slowly, "Sounds good to me...I have to admit I'm really rather tired." As if to prove his point, he yawned, and then shook his head slightly as if attempting to stay awake.
"I'm not really surprised, if you've been wandering around out there for a while." He got up and took both their bowls, going outside for a moment to wash them in the spring out back, then returning. "Go ahead and pick a mat, they're all the same to me."
He smiled and inclined his head in agreement, "That makes two of us who aren't picky." Choosing the one nearest him, he stretched out, finding that as soon as his body could relax, it started to shut down...demanding sleep with a vengeance.
He smiled slightly at that, and picked a mat relatively close to his new guest ... but not too close. Yea, another oddity. He seemed to like, well, looking at guys more than girls. But he knew that was weird, so he'd never said anything about it to Miyugi-san. And didn't ever intend to. He was also asleep soon after.
Farlest was asleep almost as soon as he let his eyes lid. He was absolutely dead on his feet... Now...it wasn't at all as though he hadn't noticed the other's rather striking good looks...he was...beautiful in a way...which made Farlest absolutely hate himself for even noticing such a thing. He hadn't allowed himself much in the way of pleasure...mostly afraid that somehow he would taint someone else with his curse... or that someone else would find out. His emotions always came on so strongly...that when he loved...he trusted...but every time he'd let himself...every time that trust had been shattered...no one wanted the spawn of a monster. And so his dreams that night were just a bit haunted...
Ryu was a light sleeper by nature so when he heard the other tossing a bit, he cracked an eye open, peering over in the dark. Which, to him, wasn't really all that dark at all. He moved, stretching out a foot to poke the other. "Hey ..."
He flinched away in his sleep, "Lemme alone...I can't help it...I didn't do anything..." Was the somewhat pitiful response from the other, who was apparently still locked in dreams. Farlest could be a bit of a heavy sleeper...especially when caught in dreams.
He blinked at that, and pushed up on an elbow with a slight frown. "Farlest," he said. "Wake up." He poked at him again, though he didn't really move any closer.
"Please...Mom...don't hit me again...I...I'm sorry..." Dark hair splayed beneath him like a silken curtain, but...turned like this revealed one all-important feature...those inhuman ears. Tears leaked from beneath closed lids...even his own mother had hated him... "Just...just a monster..." He hadn't dreamed like this in a long time...but fate was taking a hand in the play of events...
He felt something in his own heart twist at those words and closed his eyes for a moment. And when he opened them, he spotted those ears. What in the ... ? Well. It didn't matter, after all, he was weird himself, even though his own weren't quite that pointed. He finally did move then, sliding over and pulling the other into his arms to shake him slightly. "Hey, wake up. S'ok, you're dreaming."
At the feel of another body, he came awake with a gasp, "Wha?" Wide, frightened eyes fixed on the other, he was now scared out of his mind at what he might have said or done. "I...sorry...I..." He stuttered a moment, but...really couldn't find anything to say. Congratulations, Farlest...now he probably -really- thinks you're a freak.
"Shh. It's all right," he mumbled, not letting for a good moment or two. And when he did, it was with a certain reluctance to do so, though he tried to hide it.
He shivered at the loss of contact. "I...did I...I mean..." He didn't know quite how to pose the question. He had known this was a bad idea...staying...from point a...but he'd wanted to so very -badly-.
He crossed his legs, having figured by this point that he might be up a little while. "Did you what?" he asked patiently, watching the other. He hadn't wanted to let go either, but ... yea. He knew that such things just weren't normal, and especially not for monks.
He grimaced, "I...said strange things...didn't I?" He didn't move from his place, and appeared as though he were trying to make himself appear as small and non-threatening as he possibly could...another habit...one he'd taken on when he was afraid of being hurt.
"Not really. Not for someone that's dreaming, and scared," he said, before he really thought about what he was saying. He winced slightly, not having meant to be quite so blunt. "I mean ... er ... "
He looked up at him, proof of that fear shining in his eyes, "I'm sorry." Unspoken was probably something along the lines of an oft-added 'please don't hurt me'. He wasn't usually so vulnerable...he'd gotten independent enough that he didn't allow himself to be picked on or taunted like he had when he was growing up. "I...suppose I'm a bit...different..." That...was an understatement.
"For what?" he asked. "Everyone's different," he pointed out. "Some just ... more-so than others." He pushed his own hair back behind his ears, deliberately, and just looked at the other, one brow raised just slightly.
Some of that apprehension slid out of his eyes and expression, and he watched the other curiously, almost echoing the other's look. "I think I'm going to have to say you're the first person whose taken it quite like this...but..." He smiled faintly, "Looks like you've got your own reasons for that."
"Mmhmm. It's not just those either," he said, turning and pulling his shirt down a bit and hair to one side. Which allowed the top of those scales on his spine to show for a moment. "So don't worry about it."
His smile widened, "Well...guess I won't then..." He was rather tempted to touch those scales...and then...natural tendencies getting the best of him, did. "I never understood why such small differences could be such a big deal..."
He tensed slightly at that, but didn't move away. It just felt ... a bit strange, as no one had ever touched them before, aside from himself. "S'just the way people are, I guess," he replied, though he wasn't sure if the other wanted a reply or not.
He snorted softly, "Well, I never cared for it..." Those fingers finally retreated, after one more slight running of them down what he could see. "It...isn't as though I ever wanted to hurt any of them..." But somehow they all acted like he did.
He just nodded, not entirely sure what Farlest was talking about, but once again, he didn't pry. He knew that, having lived here his whole life, he could be considered a bit sheltered. But he had heard plenty of tales of the outside world, and a lot of it didn't sound pleasant. He yawned slightly. "Mm ... think you'd be ok if you went back to sleep now?"
"I...think so." He grinned sheepishly, "M'sorry for keeping you up...I know you're probably tired too." He didn't really think he'd be able to sleep easily now...but...he wasn't going to trouble the other with his personal burdens.
"Not your fault," he replied, smiling back and laying back down ... a bit closer to the other now. Once he was laying down, he blinked at the other, eyes almost glowing in the dim lighting. "Just remember. No one's going to hurt you here."
He nodded, "Yes...I'm...realizing that...and it's a nice feeling." Farlest was, in almost childish fashion (or would have been, had it been just a bit different), forming an attachment to the other. The first person who wouldn't scorn, hate, or hurt him for what he was...no matter that Ryu was different too...it still held the same value in his eyes.
He nodded back and closed his eyes, drifting off into his typical light sleep.

[-RP Log: Ryu, Farlest, Nirav, Tarak-]
SUMMONING!!!
Farlest had awoken early one morning, which said something for him as he usually slept till midmorning...if allowed. This time he took up the Shakujo that he'd been carting around...it mystified him...and until this point he'd been enjoying the company of Ryu so very much (probably more than was acceptable, should anyone have read his mind) that he'd forgotten to ask about the little 'problem' he had. So for a while the young man just sat...staring at the ornate staff as though he'd never seen it before.
He'd gotten into the habit of waking early, thanks to living at that temple, and so it wasn't too long before woke himself. He blinked slightly, stretching. "You're up early," he pointed out, pulling out his braid and combing fingers through his hair.
"Mmm..." He acknowledged the other, just barely, "Hey...I had a question for you...but I'm afraid I keep forgetting to ask it." His eyes never left that Shakujo in his hand. Ryu was...an easy distraction for Farlest. Not that he intended on ever revealing that.
He quit playing with his hair and regarded the other with a slight tilt of his head. "What is it?" He'd noticed where Farlest's gaze was, though, and suspected he might know the nature of the question.
"I've tried this summons...several times...but it doesn't seem to work for me..." Now he allowed his gaze to drift, and...like every time his eyes fell on Ryu...he couldn't help staring...just a little. "Know anything about this sort of thing?"
He blinked. "Why did you want to summon it?" he asked, first. He had more or less grown to trust Farlest, but there were people out there ... who would summon things from other realms for some very very strange reasons.
He smiled...but just a ghost of his usual expression, "At first I just was interested...curious...and...well...a part of me wants to be acknowledged as not entirely worthless..." He shook his head, "But...when it comes down to it...I need this more for my own protection and the protection of others."
He nodded slowly. "That makes sense ... especially with the type that one seems to indicate." He paused, then admitted, "I don't really know all that much ... but I do know a little bit. For these kinds of Shakujos, there are two types of beings they summon. Both are male, but one is more assertive and protective and the other is more submissive." And it was usually the ones that wanted to summon the submissives that you had to worry about using them wrongly.
He tilted his head, "So you're saying I have one of the more...dominant sorts?" That was the only word he could thing of at the moment...it probably didn't help that he'd been watching Ryu this entire time. His mind had tended to go...er...'downhill' more often of late. But the other had a point, that sort would be a fitting summon.
He nodded. "Yea. See how it's different from the one here? Ours is a submissive type." He nodded toward the Shakujo in the case across the room.
Farlest raised an eyebrow, "You ever summoned it before?" It seemed likely that Ryu had...or at least done something similar.
He smiled and shook his head. "Not me, but I've watched Miyugi-san do it. Supposedly, anyone can with the right steps and concentration." It was true that he'd been tempted to try it a few times though ...
Farlest grinned sheepishly, "Well...I...would like to learn how..." No...scratch that...he needed too. Of course, he knew it was only one in a series of steps that would mean that he would soon come to leave this place. Leave Ryu. Leave the first true acceptance he'd ever had. He couldn't expect to stay, couldn't allow himself to stay...not with...not with the way he was starting to feel...
He eyed the other, then noded after a moment. He also know what the other learning would mean. And he didn't really want him to go either. But well ... yea. "How have you been trying it?" he asked.
"Well...there's a basic outline in..." He dug around a moment and pulled the small scroll from his robes, offering it to the other, "...here...but it's a tiny bit sketchy...I don't know what I'm missing."
He eyed the scroll for a moment, frowning slighlty as he read. "Hm ... this's a different method, so I couldn't tell you." He looked up. "Do you think ... that if I tried it, with mine, and you watched ... you could pick it up? Assuming I can do it." He laughed softly.
Farlest chuckled in return, "I think so...I learn rather well by watching and even better by doing." He gestured grandly, "Let us try it, Ryu-sensei..." There was a teasing gleam in his eyes behind the overexaggerated seriousness.
He grinned at that. "Well, then my pupil ... watch as I carefully unlock this case ..." He paused dramatically. "As soon as I find the key." He darted from the room, laughing, and soon returning with said key.
He had to cover his mouth to keep himself from bursting with mirth...something akin to a giggle escaping despite his best intentions. "You might just need that..."
"Mmhmm," he replied, smiling. That sort of reaction was exactly what he'd been going for. He unlocked the case and pulled out the Shakujo it housed, taking it to the middle of the room. "Ok ... let's see if I remember how he did this..."
He stepped back, giving the other room, green eyes glinting in concentration. He -did- want to learn this...and though he seemed insincere at times, that wasn't at all the person beneath that facade. And he knew that Ryu knew it. Ryu just didn't know what other secrets were hidden behind that pretty face.
He closed his eyes for a moment, going completely still, as if waiting. Then he brought the Shakujo slowly up, then down sharply, making the rings chime against each other. And with that sound, he swept into a dance. It wasn't terribly complicated and he was making up quite a bit. But the basics were the same. The only music was those chimes and the sounds of his feet on the bare wood floor.
And Farlest didn't even have to work at watching...he was...entranced. Just...Ryu had a natural grace about him and when other thoughts concerning the other man and his lithe body came into Farlest's mind he was tempted to close his eyes...shoo such things away...but instead forced his eyes to concentrate on the actual schematics of the thing...though that wasn't half so lovely.
He wasn't even truly aware of that grace or the effect he was having on the other, simply concentrating on the dance and on what he wanted to do. Eventually, a sort of shimmer began in the air around him ... not quite mist, but not normal air either. He didn't falter at that, having been expecting it. Slowly, as he continued, the shimmering drew inward to a particular spot ... the center of his dance. And it wasn't too long after that that the shimmer became solid, and turned blue, like the ring on the Shakujo. At that point, he stopped abruptly and tossed the Shakujo down into it. There was a bright flash and then a small form appeared where the Shakujo had been.
That had utterly captivated him, and upon the peak of the dance...the actual summons itself, he stepped forward, trying to see better now precisely what these things called forth. "Mmm...I'd say it worked all right." He hardly noticed that his voice had gone a tad breathy.
He stood staring at the form on the floor. "Y-ea ..." he replied.
He sat up, rubbing at his head. "Ow ... you -do- know there are easier ways to do that, right?" Though he may be submissive, that didn't mean that he had no mind of his own.
Farlest muttered something along the lines of 'pardon the novices' before glancing back at Ryu. "Mmm...well, I think I have the basic concept at least..."
He nodded, and glanced down at the Asura. "Yea, sorry about that. I don't really know any other way." He started to back up, then paused. "Coming? Gotta get out of the way for Farlest to try with his. Oh ... I don't think I ever heard your name before." He knew he was babbling but well ... summoning turned out to be a rather heady experience.
He made a slight noise of exasperation, feeling sorry for whatever Asura would have to go through that next. "I'm Nirav," he offered, getting up and following after Ryu to one side of the room. He was completely at ease with his nude state, and looked around curiously. Sure, he'd been summoned here before by the older monk, but things always changed.
Farlest watched the two of them a moment before striding slowly to the center of the room...he paused, closing his eyes a moment before moving the Shakujo to much the same position Ryu had his...there was a similar sound...but this one was lower...mellow... And then he started to move...in this...some of the clumsiness that showed in his day to day activities seemed to evaporate...as if whatever else that had been in his bloodline was a dancer by nature. His moves were more...fluid...than Ryu's had been...and Farlest was soon moving all the faster...hair spilling behind him in a trail of midnight.
He had turned and now froze, watching. Damn ... he wondered if he'd looked something like that. He knew for a fact that Miyugi-san hadn't.
Nirav looked from one to the other and snickered quietly. Even if they were refusing to acknowledge anything, it was very plain to the Asura what was going on between them. He, after all, lived in a world where such things were the norm.
Soon a cloud of energy...or whatever it was...began to gather around him as well...only this was black...pitch black, shrouding him like a dark fog. And one could see nothing...so when Farlest finally stopped, none outside could tell, until the 'smoke' began to clear away...and standing next to the young summoner was a figure who stood taller than he...Farlest had been successful...just as Ryu had.
He eyed the two of them, then smiled. "Looks like yours worked too." He found that that smile came a bit harder now, though. Soon, Farlest would be ready to leave ...
He nodded, his own expression strained. He wasn't so exultant that he didn't know what this meant. "Yes..." Glancing up at his particular summons, he wondered when he would depart...
"I'm Tarak...and...I must admit I did not think that such a summoning could be achieved by two such as you..." His gaze flickered to the smaller Asura, not so haughty. He apparently had a disdain for non-Asura creatures.
He waved at the other Asura, just eyeing him for the moment.
He bristled slightly at that. "What does that mean, two such as us?"
Tarak smirked, "It must be the powerful blood that runs in you, then...for it most certainly wasn't your training or pitiful human side that allowed you to call us."
Farlest smacked his hand over his eyes, this wasn't going well, "What do you know about it anyway? Keep your mouth closed, will you?"
He laughed quietly, watching them all from where he had chosen to sit on the floor. He felt no need to stand, and it was just in his nature to feel more comfortable below everyone else's level. He didn't resent that fact either, just accepting it as part of life.
"No one asked either of you," he said pointedly, glaring down at his "own" summon.
Tarak, surprisingly, was obedient and shut up. Just looking at them both smugly despite the fact that he'd been denied speech.
Farlest glanced at Ryu...the unspoken issue of his departure really did need to be discussed...he should probably go...before it became harder for him to do so. "Well..." It was half a word, half a sigh...
He sighed as well, knowing very well what the other wasn't saying. "I suppose ... you'll be leaving soon, huh?" he asked after a moment.
He eyed Ryu, then shot a look at the other Asura, wondering if he saw it too. After all, it -was- quite obvious.
Tarak gave an exasperated look back to Nirav and shrugged helplessly. Humans were so very dense sometimes...it was as plain as day and they both were -completely- oblivious as to how the other felt...but even if they hadn't been, the Asura wondered if they'd act on it.
"Probably should..." He forced a grin, "As much as I hate to..." Though the statement was quite true...more true than it should be.
He nodded at that, glancing away for a moment, then back. He couldn't seriously expect him to stay here. And Miyugi-san would be back soon anyway. In just a couple of days ...

The one disadvantage to having the power to heal was not being able to use that power on himself. Not that it was reliable anyway. He blinked, slowly, staring at the ceiling above him. The floor was wet beneath him, with his own blood. And he knew there was far too much of it. Though he'd tried to stop him, the barbarian man with that wicked curved sword had proved too much for him. He blinked again, and it seemed to take longer this time to open his eyes again. There was pain, yes, and plenty of it ... but by this point it was distant, and fading. Just like he was. And the barbarian had taken Nirav. He felt a flash of regret for that, he was supposed to protect the temple and everything in it. But it didn't matter now. He was dying and he knew it ... and there was simply nothing to be done about it.
Farlest was on his way...almost reluctantly as he knew it would mean seeing Ryu again...and then having to say goodbye to him once more. But Sajan was quite pressing for a submissive Asura...it was apparent that this Dasharath meant a lot to him. It had surprised him outright that the Asuras didn't seem to see anything wrong with such relationships, in fact, it was the -norm- for them. He wouldn't say how much that...well, not really bothered him...but certainly was nagging at his mind. The other two were talking quietly to one another now...Sajan far more worridly than Tarak. Well...there was really nothing more Farlest could do...
He vaguely remembered one of those annoying popular sayings ... the one that said that when you died, your life flashed before your eyes. One corner of his lips moved slightly ... an attempt at a wry smile. The saying didn't appear to be true for him. Or at least not in entirity. For he could only remember clearly one part of his life at this point ... those few days when Farlest had been here. For once, he hadn't had to hide what he was, hadn't been ashamed of his strangeness. Oh well ... another thing he'd never have to worry about again. Though he did wish fleetingly that he could have seen the other again.
It seemed like he'd been traveling forever, especially with the two behind him talking ceaselessly...and just below a volume he could clearly hear...the entire time. Well, now he could see the temple. He wondered what Ryu was doing. The other had actually noticed him coming the first time...but Far didn't really expect a repeat of that. He walked up to the door, sandaled feet making quiet sounds, whilst the two summoned creatures made none at all. Well, might as well announce his presence, "Ryu?" He called for the other, as it was rude just to barge his way in, after all.
That door stood open just a crack, as if it had been carelessly left that way. Which wasn't at all typical of Ryu.
His eyes narrowed and he opened the door, so violently that it slammed against the far wall, "RYU!!!!" He was observant if nothing else, and his gaze darted about for some sign of the other.
Sajan and Tarak took the wise choice and stayed outside. These were human affairs. Sort of.
He was still 'there' just enough to hear that ... and recognize the voice. He couldn't call back though, so just lay where he was, toward the back of that main room, in a darker corner.
Walking all the way in, he started to look for him in earnest, "Ryu?" Sharp green eyes finally saw the shape of the other in that corner...and something in his chest clenched. He moved faster than he ever had in his life to get next to the other, "Oh gods, Ryu..." He knew in that moment more clearly than he had before what he'd been feeling these past few days. A tragic irony now...
He forced his eyes open and shifted his gaze to the other, though it was somewhat blurry by this point. That look said what he couldn't say in words ...
And he found that tears came to his own eyes, "Dammit...you aren't going to die on me..." Gentle, probing hands found their way to the other's wounds, and he explored the talent that most had simply not -allowed- him to use...as it was supposedly 'tainted'. But if his tainted powers could heal Ryu...it was worth it. [/color
He flinched just a bit at that touch, since it brought the pain back. It wasn't as if he -wanted- to die either, but ...
He pressed himself close, the more contact he had, the better, letting his power flow without restraint. He couldn't let Ryu die...he would not... He'd never forgive himself...
It wasn't long before he started to feel the effects of that power. And he wondered just how Farlest happened to have such a power ... but didn't question it. His eyes slid shut as breath came easier and wounds started to close.
Now that the danger was fading, Farlest's mind became almost vengeful, wondering who had done this...that seemed to invoke yet another flare of energy...and healed the majority of the damage...before he had to pull back, panting.
His eyes opened again and now he turned his head, slowly, to look more fully at the other. "Farlest ..." he whispered, voice still a bit raw-sounding. One hand twitched, then moved carefully, toward the other.
He leaned close again, but for a different purpose entirely, "Ryu..." His voice was full of relief...and something else. And he caught the other's hand in his own, holding it to his own chest. If the other wanted to smack him for it later he surely could...
"You came ..." he mumbled, as if he still couldn't quite believe that not only was he alive, but also that Farlest was -here-. His mind still hadn't gotten past those two facts, to think about anything else, such as going after the barbarian that took Nirav.
"Yes...and I've never been more grateful to do anything in my life..." He trembled...the other would have died...there was no way to avoid that prospect...Farlest would never have seen Ryu again. Not that he'd...really expected too again...but then he realized how much that idea bothered him.
He laughed quietly, then coughed slightly. "Me too ... me too." He was obviously still somewhat weak, even with the major damage healed. But his grip on Farlest's hand tightened as he continued, "Thanks. Guess I owe you my life now."
He smiled slightly, still trying to get over his scare, "I'm sure you'll find some way to pay me back..." came the light reply. He didn't want anything to happen to this man...that had...that had been too close.
He smiled back. "Probably ..." And only then did he remember. "Dammit ... Farlest, he took Nirav. The barbarian that did ... this."
His expression clouded, "What?" That didn't sound at all good...and judging by the shape Ryu had been in...he cursed current circumstances to hell...
" 'S what he wanted. I think he was waiting for me to be ... alone. Or something. He came in here and told me to hand him over. Then when I wouldn't ...." He trailed off, letting events speak for themselves.
"Damn..." He growled softly, "I'm going to kill him..." A hand drifted to Ryu's face almost of his own accord, "I'm sorry now that I didn't get here sooner..." He smiled weakly, "It was a very lucky happenstance that I'm here at all..."
"I'm going to help you," he replied, leaning into that touch without even thinking about it. "Seems luck is on my side ..."
Again without thought, he leaned forward, nose to nose with Ryu, "Surely...it's with both of us, I think..." But then...he could find no more to say...his own eyes fixed on the brilliant, beautiful, exotic eyes that the other posessed...and he seemed to be losing the ability to think clearly.
He blinked, staring back into the green depths in turn. Some of the things Nirav had said ... before ... came back to him then. And, well, at this point, did it really matter? He lifted his head just slightly, so their lips touched, but only for a moment.
When soft lips met his own, Farlest was undoubtedly surprised, but even as the other withdrew, he pursued, keeping that contact for a longer span of time. If this was sin...then let his soul be damned...
He blinked at that, but made no move to stop the other or pull farther away. He really didn't care at this point what other people might think. Nirav had been right, he loved Farlest. And it didn't matter that the other was male, that was only physical, after all.
And he kissed him...it wasn't as clumsy as it might have been...almost seeming to come naturally. He couldn't help himself...simple attraction had grown into love...no matter that the time-span had been a short one. Ryu being a man...well...people already hated Farlest...one more reason made no difference to him.
His free hand moved then, coming up to circle the other's shoulders, fingers working into that hair that was so like his own. He was glad now of the one or two 'lessons' he'd allowed Nirav to give him. He hadn't let it go farther than kissing and touching, and had protested the entire time, but well ... it was proving its worth now.
And now...Farlest truly couldn't think...all warnings erased from his mind...and just Ryu...filling all of his senses until he was nearly doubting reality. Hands gently kneaded the shoulders that they had come to rest upon, as he was half lying atop the other at this point.
He finally did have to move though, as he was running out of air. Though that move was only to turn his head to the side to half-gasp a breath. Then he was looking back at Farlest, eyes just a little wide.
He found he had to pant a bit too, as their gazes met again, "Ryu..." It was soft, and sounded like a caress...affectionate. His brain was just beginning to process what all this meant.
He smiled slowly, fingers still tangled in the other's hair. "Yea?"
"I...thought you'd hate me..." He admitted quietly, his own wonder at the returning of affections showing quite plainly in his voice and expression.
He blinked. "For what?" he asked, tone soft. "I started it."
"It...that's why I left...really...I...wouldn't have been able to hide how I felt forever..." He was almost tripping over his words...and they revealed how badly Farlest had really wanted to stay.
He smiled. "Then I really am glad that you came back," was the reply to that. "I didn't want you to go."
He all but beamed, "I can see that now..." Leaning in again, he brushed Ryu's lips with his own, "And I want to stay with you..."
He answered that with a widening of his own smile. "Good ... cause I don't think I'm going to let you leave again. At least, not unless I leave too."
Farlest grinned, almost childishly pleased, "I think we have an agreement on that." He slowly pushed himself up off his hands, "Ah...but...I suppose we have a few things to attend to at the moment..." Things far more unpleasant...
He nodded, and attempted to follow the other, to sit up. And winced slightly. Ok yes, he still hurt.
He slipped an arm around Ryu's waist, earnest gaze saying wordlessly that he would be support...all the other had to do was move and Farlest would help.
He smiled over at the other. "Thanks. I ... don't think I should be going anywhere major for a couple days though."
He nodded, "S'alright...I wasn't going to let you."
He leaned into the other, just enjoying the contact. "Hey ... why -are- you here anyway?"
He blinked, remembering, "Oh..." He grinned sheepishly. "Well, would you believe I found another Shakujo? With Tarak's help, mind you..."
He blinked. "Another one? You either are very lucky, or very unlucky."
He nodded, "Yeah...this one was one of the...submissive ones. I summoned him, but..." Farlest sighed, attempting to word this correctly, "Well, apparently he has...something in the way of a dominant that he belongs to...and he'd been poisoned, but because I summoned him he's here instead of there...and wants to go back." The young man looked rather embarassed, "And I don't know how to send him back."
"Huh ... " He thought about that for a minute. Belonged to a dominant? Nirav had mentioned ... something about that, he remembered. "Well ... problem there, is ... I know how to. But," he smiled wryly. "I don't think I could show you at the moment."
He winced, "Yes...I figured that would be the case." He rested his forehead against Ryu's temple a moment, "But...right now I'm just too glad you're going to be all right to worry overmuch about that."
He nodded and shifted a bit, arms coming up to go around the other, almost clinging. "I know what you mean ..."
He didn't mind being clung to, in fact, it was rather nice. "Mmm...so rest for you, though Sajan will be disappointed..." Kissing him with an innocence borne of inexperience, Farlest struggled to convey feelings he had not so long ago had to hide.
He leaned into that kiss with a quiet sound, being almost as inexperienced himself. But that didn't lessen the pleasure of it in any way ... if anything, it seemed to heighten the feelings running through him.
It sent a shiver all the way down his spine....gods...he had in no way known that positive emotions could be so intense. A low sound that just missed being a moan came from him as air became a necessity and he had to draw away. For once...words didn't seem necessary.
Just hearing that sound the other made caused something to curl warmly inside him and his smiled edged toward a smirk. He wasn't entirely sure what these feelings were but ... he wasn't arguing with them.
Lips that weren't quite sure what they were doing, but had the basic idea, ghosted down Ryu's jawline and then his neck. He had the sudden impulse to all but worship the other's body... with hands, lips and tongue...and oh so much more...just a flicker that was more instinct than real knowledge.
He gasped softly, going rigid as his fingers dug into the other's back just a bit. -That- was certainly different, even from what Nirav had done. But the difference could simply be because this time, he was perfectly willing.
He smiled against the other's skin, and lips were replaced by tongue, going back up that same line. Apparently the other liked that...well, more of a good thing certainly couldn't go amiss now could it?
He actually writhed slightly at that, making a little mewling noise. His head went back, giving the other more skin to work with.
((Use your imagination and if you want the rest of the log, poke me. XD ))

[-RP Log: Dasharath and Sajan-]
Number 4
"Mmm." His only reply was a kind of humming noise, more an acknowledgement than agreement. His eyes lidded just a bit, then opened again, blinking slowly.
"Dash?" Sajan studied the other's face a moment, wondering just how hurt the other had been... "Are you all right?" Now was one of those times when he wished for a healing power of sorts. That would be far more helpful to his point of view. But all he could heal was himself...and that by draining others.
His gaze focused on the other, a bit slower than usual. "I ..." he started to reply automatically that he was fine, and then stopped. "I don't know..." he admitted. Nothing really hurt anymore, in fact, he felt almost like he was floating. It wasn't really unpleasant ... just strange. And he was pretty sure it wasn't ... well, right.
He frowned slightly, brow furrowing in concern. The uke touched the other's face, as if attempting to discern what was wrong. "How do you feel...tell me?" Perhaps a description would aid in his discovery of the problem. He didn't think the other had a serious head wound or anything, but then, Sajan didn't have much experience there.
He echoed the other's expression, though without so much concern, and more confusion. "Just ... kind of distant," he mumbled. "An' tired." He wasn't sure how to describe it, since he'd never felt like this before. And it didn't help that whatever it was was making it hard to think. He was starting to wonder why it even mattered ...
Dammit...something was -wrong-. "Dash...stay with me...I...don't think you should let yourself sleep..." He was wracking his brain in an attempt at a logical explanation...and he was starting to get very very frightened. If it wasn't some sort of wound then...what?
He just blinked at the other, rapidly losing the ability to string thoughts together. But he knew that he didn't really want to sleep like this either. A part of him knew that, and held to that thought stubbornly.
"Dash..." He eyed the wounds that the other -did- have, wondering if perhaps there lay the answer... He saw though, that the other was trying to do as he had asked...and he was glad that the other Asura wasn't out of reason yet.
None of those wounds appeared to be very serious, though taken all together, they could explain why he was so tired. But not the rest of it. The slashes across his chest from that whip were swollen slightly, though, and a bit warmer to the touch.
There was a slight hiss as he inhaled sharply, "Dammit..." His brain was working lighting-quick now. Poison. It had to be. That filled him with a newfound loathing for their vanquished enemy...he'd come back in with that whip...and used it on Dash...instead of Sajan...but it had been meant for him. He growled softly, "Dash...you -have- to stay with me..."
"Tryin," he mumbled, the word half-slurred. He'd come to the conclusion, in the small part of his mind that could still think, that he didn't at all like this. He bit at his lip slightly, though even that pain was distant and it didn't really help much. "What ...?"
"I...think there was poison, Dash..." Perhaps that would give the other more incentive to stay in the land of waking...He had more than just a sneaking suspicion that losing consciousness would be a bad move on Dash's part...He found his own slender fingers curling tightly around the seme's hand.
His eyes widened just slightly, as that word did hit a nerve, so to speak. And his own hand moved, wrapping back around Sajan's, though his grip was quite a bit weaker.
He didn't know what to do, and was honestly at a loss...bringing Dash's hand up to his face, he brushed his lips across the knuckles. "M'going to talk to you...and...just listen to my voice and stay awake...please..."
He nodded, slowly, forcing himself to concentrate as much as possible on keeping his eyes open and focused on Sajan. It was true that he'd never really been poisoned before, himself ... but he'd heard about it. And he already knew that he didn't like the way it was making him feel.
It was strange the things one could say when one just needed to -talk-. Sajan spoke of everything...his younger years...stories he'd heard...his life in the forest before Dash had found him....all the things he could wrack his brain for...and he told them all to the seme...hoping that the poison would work its way from his system.
And he listened, still holding onto the uke's hand, almost clinging at times. Though a lot of what the other said floated right past him, he tried to pay attention and listen to everything ... even to think of questions to ask later. Anything to keep from slipping away into sleep. And slowly, it got a little easier to concentrate, and his gaze wasn't quite so distant as he watched the other.
He smiled, noting the change...the low point was apparently over... And that was when...for the first time in his life, but most certainly not the last, Sajan felt that tug...not quite a physical pulling, but something akin to it... "Dash...I..." And he made the grand mistake of blinking...and when he opened his eyes...all was darkness...and that was when the panic started to well within him...

[-RP Log: Zakai and Angeal-]
Number 1
Angeal awoke slowly, as he always did, one eye peeking open. Aw...stiff again... With a soft groan he forced his chilled body to a sitting position. Well...that's what he got for sleeping halway up a mountain with nothing but a couple of blankets. He glanced over at his sleeping protege...wondering what on earth had inspired him to take on a student. Angeal was a friendly enough sort, but he usually kept to himself...out of habit more than anything. But Zakai had reminded him a bit of himself...and that had made all the difference. He wondered precisely how the other felt about this quest. A shakujo. That was what was rumored to be kept in the shrine at the top of the mountain. Angeal would have gone after it years ago save for the fact that he considered the trip too laborious...and after all, how important was the summoning of an Asura, after all? Well...he'd never seen it done, Angeal had only done lesser summonings. But he knew how to do it...and now...well...he wanted Zakai to do what he'd never been able to. He poked the other...none to gently, "Morning's here!"
Zakai groaned and curled more in a ball. "Five more minutes.."
"Now is that any way to act?" he chuckled and smacked the other's hip with one palm. "Up you go, boy...we have to cover some distance today. If we set a good pace we can be there late today or early tomorrow. Now come on...one of us has to make breakfast and you -really- don't want it to be me."
He opened an eye. "Slave driver.." He slid up and stretched. He was naked, but.. hell.. who was really going to complain. He glared at Angeal and slipped his pants on. He padded outside and began to stoke the fire. He looked upwards towards the top of the mountain. He murmured and stood. Zakai began to fic his hair. He murmured and scratched his stomach. "What do you want, Angeal?"
He shrugged, "You of all people should know I'm not picky..." The dark-haired man leaned over and picked up his robe, being only in a pair of pants as he stoically refused to wear nothing but a robe. Slipping it on easily he eyed the other, "So tell me...how do you feel about this, really...as it was my idea?"
"I'm.. scared to be honest." He looked at Angeal. "What if something goes wrong..?"
He laughed softly, "There's not much that can, Zakai...what are you afraid of?"
"Summoning something we shouldn't." He walked to Angeal and eyed him. "And it isn't nice to make fun of someone that can easily best you.. sensei.."
He clicked his tongue at him and leaned back a bit, "Tsk...so you say, but you never have yet." Angeal raised an eyebrow, "If this thing is what I think it is...then the creature you summon won't be able to disobey your commands."
"So I could easily command him to best you?" He grinned and winked. He turned and went to cook. "Gruel it is.."
Angeal chuckled, "If he could...which is probable, though you'd have to be specific, I don't think I'd appreciate being scattered all over the landscape." Eyeing the other for a long moment, he finally continued, "I've studied about this for a long time...if you have any questions about what you're summoning, I'll be happy to answer, Zakai."
"What EXACTLY am I summoning that you don't wish to?"
"It's not that I don't wish to, Zakai...I just...well...I've settled down and I don't want or need something like that. Personally when I've got you at a level I'm satisfied with, I'll go back to living alone." He settled down crosslegged on the ground so that he could more comfortably do his 'telling'. "You're summoning an Asura. They're powerful beings from the Fourth Realm. Each has his own set of powers and abilities. As I understand there are two types of Asura. One is a more submissive sort...willing to obey commands and eager to please. The other, the more powerful ones, are the dominant in their own society...they...well...they're a little harder to bend to the summoner's will, but in the end, it's worth it."
He nodded and offered a bowl. He sat down with Angeal. "What happens with the Asura after it's summoned...?"
He took it and inclined his head, "Thanks." Around a mouthful he continued, "I'm not quite sure what you mean, Zakai."
"Let's say I summon this Asura... what happens with it..?"
"He is brought from his own realm to this one. He then is in service to you, and whether he be dominant or submissive, you will be his master. You -can- send him back to his own realm if you so choose, and then summon him again when you need to, but many often keep them here as companions and guardians, a display of their power as well. It's really up to you...and whether or not you actually care to be around the Asura you summon."
He nodded slowly. "We'll see once he's summoned." He grumbled and eyed the gruel. "I'll wait for meat.."
"Psshh...you're too picky..." Angeal hadn't wasted any time in digging in. "Besides, we need to get going soon."
"That's fine.. I'll wait."
"You sure?"
He nodded slowly. "I don't want rice gruel again.."
He sighed, "Fine then..." With a soft oof sound he stood. "Then let's get ready...don't have any time to waste..."
He nodded and stood up. He put out the fire and padded to the blankets. He slipped on his outer robe and tied it. He sighed softly. He was still worried.
"Hey..." He put a hand on Zakai's shoulder. "You really don't have to worry...even if something happens...I'll be there."
He nodded and smiled gently. "I trust you.." He stopped himself. He smiled weakly and offered Angeal a walking stick.
He took it and shook his head, "You really are something..." His look softened, "Hey...Zakai...you're the best student I've ever had...I don't think you need to trouble yourself about this so greatly...it shouldn't be a hard thing."
He blushed and smiled. "Are you really going to leave me..?"
He frowned slightly, "Does that bother you so much? That I might 'push you out into the world' all on your lonesome?"
He looked to the side. "Doesn't.. matter. Let's go..."
Angeal raised an eyebrow. Hmmm... He had known the other too long not to be able to read him fairly well. He clapped the other on the back, "Well...you're right.." Grabbing the bag he'd used to pack, he beckoned the other forward. "C'mon...we should make it tonight if we're diligent..."
"Yea... diligent..." He padded onwards. His eyes lidded and murmured.
"Zakai..." He stopped and eyed him, "What's the matter? And don't give me some excuse...I'm not a fool."
He ran his hands through his hair. Curse it all. Couldn't Zakai see that this was meant to -help- him? He didn't want the boy to have to depend on him any longer...it just wasn't healthy. Well...onward...

[-RP Log: Zakai, Sephiroth and Angeal-]
Number 2
Summoning!
Summoning!
Zakai had been silent the entire way. His face was set, angry even.. pained. He hadn't even looked at Angeal.
Because of the unusual silence, it seemed even longer than usual...the hours dragging by. It seemed strange to Angeal, as he'd become accustomed to hearing the other's voice...often. He was upset to. He hadn't seen it as abandoning Zakai...but he knew that's how the other was taking it. And that was precisely the opposite of what it was supposed to be. When they finally did reach the temple...it was a small place, apparently made for travelers and wayfairers....but though a thick layer of dust coated everything, the building was nice otherwise, with beautifully carved walls...some of which had been painted with natural dyes. "Well helloooo..." A smile lit his face for the first time that afternoon. He glanced over his shoulder at Zakai. "Listen to me..." His expression was serious again, "I won't leave until you want me to. I just...thought perhaps it might be better that way. You'll have to forgive me, Zakai...I value you highly and I simply don't want to see your life wasted." Well...coming here was a big step for them both...it's where they went from there...
"Don't give me that. You're feeling guilty now. I don't want your damn pity."
He growled softly, "You don't need my pity, Zakai..." He stepped inside the temple and immediately saw what they were looking for. A shakujo...and a fine one by the looks of it....a flame...dominant perhaps? He'd never seen one set with a stone like that before either.
He padded behind. He was silent, sullen. He looked down. He was the very image of dejection. Someone would of had to kick a lot of puppies to get that look.
"Zakai..." He said quietly, putting a hand on the other's shoulder, "I want you to act like the mature young man I know you can be...Yes, I feel guilty, but I have a right to. You mean far to much for me to simply shove you away..." He straightened, that was...all he was going to say on the matter, "So what do you think?" He nodded towards the object of their quest.
He murmured and lifted his head. It was still obvious he was upset. "It's beautiful."
"Well?" He gestured towards it. This was Zakai's quest in truth...
"What do I do?"
"Do you remember the dances I showed you for lesser summoning circles?"
He nodded. "The Geisha Tea Ceremony?"
Angeal gave him a mildly peeved look, "Ha ha...very funny...yes... that one..."
He nodded and looked to the side. "That's what I need to do?"
"Well...that...and this..." He dug around and pulled out a small parchment....words written...an incantation of sorts. "...works better if you sing it, by the way..."
He raised an eyebrow. "You just want to hear me sing."
He chuckled, "Caught. Your voice is ten times better than mine... But I have heard it does improve things."
"Only ten..?" He took the parchment and began to memorize it.
"Fine. More than that." He slid back, wanting to watch this...as it was...something he'd rather been looking forward to.
He blinked. "Do I take the staff and do my geisha thing?"
He nodded, "The shakujo is the key to the whole thing...let it lead your movements, not vice versa."
He nodded. He took the staff and twirled it once. He lidded his eyes and let the staff guide him. He murmured and began to sing the melody. It was rich, meaningful. The song seemed to get faster. Soon.. his movements were a whirl of color and the black of his hair.
He watched, mesmerized...he'd never seen Zakai get so totally into...well..anything. He'd known the other could be intense, but...Agreal was astounded. He most definitely had not been exaggerating when he said that the young man was the best student he'd ever had...not at all...there was innate talent there...
He paused in the middle of the space and shook the shakujo three times and tapped it to the ground. His hair.. had at some point.. come undone. It poofed about behind him. His eyes seem to almost.. glow.
And Angeal watched as a cloud of strange silver smoke swirled about his student...obscuring both he and the shakujo in his hand...magnificent...utterly magnificent...
And when the smoke did clear, there was heard a low chuckle...and standing in front of Zack there was a tall Asura...with dark skin, silver hair, brilliant green eyes, and a single, black wing. "Well...I suppose I should be calling you Master..." But his entire posture reeked a coldness and a superiority...but...well...he was beautiful...utterly so.
Zakai... blinked. "Master..?" He looked at Angeal.
Angeal nodded slowly, having had to shut his mouth as it had literally dropped upen, "That...is practically what you are to him at this point, Zakai..."
The Asura nodded, emerald eyes hard. Apparently he wasn't totally thrilled about the whole affair, but...there was something strange about him...as though...perhaps...he wasn't quite sane.
He looked at the Asura. "Don't call me master. I'm Zakai.. do you have a name?"
"Yes..." He said quietly, tilting his head so that silver hair obscured one eye.
"Sephiroth..."
