Welcome to Gaia! ::

I can hear what you're thinking,
All your doubts and fears,
And if you look in my eyes, in time you'll find,
The reason I'm here.

.::About the Thread::.

Toxicity is a shop dedicated to a unique type of breedable children, and is roleplaying intensive. Here you can own and control one of the Rosin, the citizens of Toxicity. The Rosin are required to be roleplayed in order to evolve into their next stages, and those that are not roleplayed will not progress. This thread is for general chat and discussion about the Rosin themselves. Roleplay will be performed in the guild, where journals and bios shall be set up for the conveniance of the staff and owners. Toxicity is set in modern day Gaia. This means that you can have your Rosin interact with your other characters and pets, but they must be introduced to them. Your Rosin cannot simply meet fifteen of your other pets and know them straight away, roleplay is required for any form of familiarity to be created and maintained. Magic does exist in this world but cannot be utilized by the Rosin, as they have no affinity for it.

1. How much are your pets going to be?

Flatsale Rosin will cost 20k, Custom Rosin are still being discussed

2. Can Rosins have pets?

Yes, in a fashion. If you are talking about animals like those found out at the forests, those would be hard. They are wild animals and are a bit scared of the city and it's residence. Now if you are talking about a breedable you got on Gaia, then again they would be like an animal that came from the wild. So unless your Rosin is given a pet from TNO or Sparks, then your Rosin will have to spend time and effort in RP to convince a wild animal to be a pet.

3. How much are Customs?

Customs will be auctions, and there for have no set price, although some may be raffled off or won through roleplay.

4. Can I be a guest artist?

Possibly, it will depend on timing and your skills. If you'd like to apply to be a guest artist, plese PM the form below to this account with the subject " Guest Artist" in the heading.

So the tale goes that there was a man, or should I say, something of a man, who had a great talent for death. He would leave his masterpieces all over the countryside but they were never signed, for this man chose to bear no name, and kept a great deal about him a mystery. It is only through a long period of casual observation that I even know as much as I do. This man, who I shall henceforth call the ?Nameless One?, possessed a certain array of talents, one of which was poisons. He would collect them, hundreds of them. Venoms, toxins, poisons, chemicals, he would collect and catalogue them all. He displayed a particular interest in their effects on the human form, and created antidotes. He adored his collection, for the Nameless One enjoyed have an advantage over most others, and these poisons helped him greatly. He would also consume them, all of them. He took smaller doses to start, for he wished to become immune to their effects.

The Nameless One used these and many magical devices to do his so-called ?work?, and these items were purchased from here, the Grey Tower. My former master, who was a great wizard, or as the Nameless One would put it, a ?stick waver?, created such magical items. My master worked wonders with arcane devices, and although he lived alone with my presence being the only exception, his tower contained animated servants of stone and metal. Constructs, he called them. It was I who would keep up with their maintenance. The Nameless One would come to my master, buying enchanted items and potions and leaving with both parties pleased.

One dark evening, I witnessed another transaction between the two. On that ill-fated night, my master would not offer the Nameless One what he desired. An argument ensued, and soon after, a battle. I'd seen many a nightmare in my time, but the Nameless One brought horrors to this world I cannot bear to mention, for fear my hair will become all the more grey. Thus my former master fell, under the black hand of the Nameless One, though he paid dearly. The battle was not one sided, and he had been caused grievous wounds. He could not stand on his own feet for long, and he staggered and fell into a pool. I'd seen this pool before, my former master used it often. One of its many purposes was to give life to his constructs.

The Nameless One awoke a long time later, finding his wounds were gone and he was alive. He rose to his feet and was surprised to find a child by the edge of the pool. I was not, for I had served as a witness to the creature being born from the Nameless One?s black blood as it rose out of the water. The Nameless One asked who it was, and the child didn't answer, so he placed his hand to the child's head. From what I could see, the Nameless One learned much from this action. The Nameless One looked at the now masterless tower, and the child at his feet. That's when he looked directly at me, almost through me with his green eyes, and I knew I had a new master now. He told me to gather the constructs, to choose the best crafted and send them to his room. I did as I was told, and I was never allowed to hear what was spoken to the drones of metal and stone.

They went to work, moving beyond the tower and began constructing a city, a large city, bringing in power and water. I am to do my tasks, as always, and as such am allowed to live. As the city grew, I watched more children being carried out of the room where the Nameless One remains to this day. The city is formed now, and the children have become its inhabitants. The Nameless One calls them the Rosin, which he claims means ?Born? in some language I care not to learn. He had me place a sign near the outside of the city. It reads ?Welcome to Toxicity?. Welcome, indeed.

The Rosin are creations formed from the poisoned blood of a donor and the waters of the Pool of Life. Each Rosin is unique, though they all fall into certain categories.

Types

Chemical Rosin

Chemical Rosin?s poisonous half is from a chemical of some kind, usually those that are industrially refined. These can be sprays, gases, liquids, metals and even some ores. Chemical Rosin's appearance develops more as they increase in age. At adult stages, Ore Rosin have small patches of their mineral on their skin in random areas. These often resemble small pieces of armor or jewelry. Metal Rosin are very similar, but with smoother, shinier pieces. Liquid Rosin at adult levels can possibly have an entire limb made of the their type of poisonous substance. Their skin is often wet, and has a slick sheen to it. Gaseous Rosin can have a mist that trails behind them, or floats like clouds about their arms and feet. They also tend to have misty or cloud-like hair. Adult Chemical Rosin can control their element within their body, increasing it to a point where they become the element itself. Metal and Ore become hard all over, while Liquid can turn into a moving puddle and Gaseous can turn into a mist. Only adults can control such high levels of skill. Children can only do so in the smallest of ways and with great effort, and teens only produce such effects if under stress or during extreme circumstances.

Plant Rosin

Plant Rosin have taken on the properties of a poisonous plant. Rosin of this nature enjoy the environment their vegetation thrives on. These Rosin usually have markings on their skin that resemble parts of their associated plant. These markings start out small and become more distinct with each stage of growth. Their hair is usually made of vines or leaves, and if the plant the Rosin takes after grows quickly, so to will their hair. Plant Rosin adults also sometimes sprout actual leaves from their body, and their legs can look like roots or vines. Plant Rosin are attuned to their specific plant, and adults of this type can influence such to grow rapidly in a suitable area. Teens again can only do so under duress or at a point of extreme emotion, while children might at best grow one plant with concentrated effort.

Animal Rosin

Animal Rosin are those with aspects of a poisonous creature, and only creatures that can produce on their own toxin or venom apply. These Rosin carry within them the traits and features of the animal that donated their venom. An example of this would be spider-like limbs growing from the back of a Rosin born of spider venom. Unlike the other two types of Rosin, Animal Rosin do not change that much over their stages of growth. Their animal parts will shift as their body does but will not be so dramatic. As with the spider, he may grow and gain an extra pair of spider eyes. Animal Rosin do not get every ability an animal does. Using the spider for our example again, they will not be able to make webs or have a 'spider sense'. The primal side of Animal Rosin mostly grants the Rosin their unique appearance. This results in enhancements that resemble the movement of their influential creature and some physical characteristics, such as a cobra's quickness. Children of this type will just be starting to learn about their physical attributes, and teens will still have some trouble. Adults of this type are familiar their extra limbs like any human is theirs.

Experimental Rosin RARE

Experimental Rosin are Rosin than have not only one of the above three types of poison in their system, but also an animal of sorts, usually non poisonous. This gives the Rosin an anthro like appearance as during creation, animal blood is mixed with the blood of The Nameless One.

Arcanian Rosin RARE

Arcanian Rosin are born from the poison of a magical or mythilogical creature. In the world of Toxicity, such creatures can and have existed, and their venom has become a part of The Namless One's collection. Arcanian Rosin are innately magical and can manifest strange abilities from reading minds to being able to produce small flames. They take on characteristics of the creature they were born from, from wings to horns and tails.

Additional Information

Poison

Each Rosin's blood contains the poison from which it was created and as such they are immune to their own 'brand' of poison. The way a poison is introduced into another being is dependant on the type of Rosin. Chemical Rosin radiate their poison outward in a sort of aura, and so close contact is enough for another being to be affected. Plant Rosin may have a poisonous touch if their plant type, such as poison ivy, needs only that to give off it's effect. Otherwise, the blood of a Plant Rosin is where their poison lays and contact with that is sufficient for its effects to work. Animal Rosin need to apply the same process to introduce venom into others as their animal does. This is usually through bites, stings, spitting and the like. Every Rosin has the ability to keep their poison at bay, so touching a Chemical Rosin or a Plant Rosin is not harmful unless they wish it to be. There is one exception to this governing of control, and that is the blood of the Plant Rosin. This will always be poisonous. No matter what poison the Rosin is created from, the symptoms they inflict on others happen immediately. The longer the duration of exposure, the more drastic the effects of the poison will be. This can never be fatal or permanent, as it is the Nameless One's blood that the Rosin carry, and therefore they cannot die from toxins.

How the Rosin's poisons work in the world is that each causes symptoms unique to the individual that secreted it, and will have a list of conditions concerning how they affect a human or Rosin body. There are three stages of severity for each poison, the scope of which being determined by the amount and length of exposure. These have been delegated into three categories, those of initial exposure, medium exposure, and high exposure. Through hostile contact or injection, such as a bite or contact with Plant Rosin blood, the symptoms of the initial stage will come into effect upon the victim immediately. Medium exposure symptoms occur when a victim is continually exposed to a poison for fifteen seconds or more. High exposure, which has the most extreme symptoms, occurs when exposed to a poison for thirty seconds or more. This means an Animal Rosin must bite, sting, or however they inflict their venom, for at least thirty seconds to reach the highest levels of exposure. Plant Rosin achieve the same by maintaining contact of their blood on a victim and Chemical Rosin must radiate or press their prey with a part of their skin. Rosin, as stated before, are immune any fatal effects when any sort of toxin is concerned, and recover quickly from all others. Initial exposure takes the average Rosin about a day to normalize from, two for medium, and three for high.

Needs

Every Rosin has the same basic needs as a human being. They need to eat, drink, sleep, and breath air. Chemical Rosin can basically do anything humans can do, such as go swimming or fly a kite. Gaseous Chemical Rosin can be blown about in gas form by the air, and Metal Chemical Rosin can be subject to magnetism. Animal Rosin that are nocturnal will stay up late and sleep later in the day. Aquatic and Amphibious Rosin must spend at least a few hours a day in water, and are capable of being in both salt and fresh water with out harm. Plant Rosin require about an hour total a day to stick their feet in the soil, or alternatively eat the snacks provided by the Gardener construct. Such habits provide the unique nutrients that Plant Rosin need to thrive.

Toxicity is the name given to the city the Nameless One had built on the lands surround the Grey Tower. Every building is crafted by the constructs of the keep, which make for both efficient and tireless workers. Each building is crafted from worked stone and filled with the necessary requirements for its function. The lands are giant grasslands surrounded by forests and nestled against a mountainside. There is only one road that leads in and out of the city, but two paths to walk into the forest through the walls that surround the city.

Currency

Well? basically there is none, so... What do they pay for things with? Well, Rosin do not, for everything they need is free. So what is to stop them from taking everything? The laws of the land limit what each Rosin can own.

User Image

Carved into the black onyx obelisk at the south end of the city are the laws the Nameless One has given to the Rosin to follow:

The Law of Consumption

All shall take only what is necessary, and that shall be provided by the constructs. Anything more will hereafter be known as a sign of greed. Greed is not welcome within Toxicity's walls. Rosin will be allowed the following items:

Females:

7 outfits and/or dresses
2 costumes
7 pairs of underwear
7 pairs of sleepwear
7 pairs of socks
7 pairs of shoes
7 pieces of jewelry and/or accessories
2 pieces of lingerie for adults
7 CDs
7 books
2 perfumes
7 electrical appliances
10 pieces of furniture
3 pieces of entertainment
1 complete make up set
5 towels
3 changes of linen
1 stationary set ( includes pens, pencils, journal, etc)
1 set of art supplies ( paints, pencils, crayons, paper, etc)

Males:

7 outfits and/or suits
2 costumes
7 pairs of underwear
7 pairs of sleepwear
7 pairs of socks
7 pairs of shoes
7 pieces of jewelry and/or accessories
7 CD?s
7 books
2 aftershave and/or cologne
7 electrical appliances
10 pieces of furniture
3 pieces of entertainment
5 towels
3 changes of linen
1 stationary set ( includes pens, pencils, journal, etc)
1 set of art supplies ( paints, pencils, crayons, paper, etc)

All other consumption is monitored and enforced by the Goods and Services constructs. You may exchange your belongings for others, but never more than the regulated totals. Do not over consume your products, as these are adequate amounts of food and items.

Law of Influence

Visitors may enter the city, and are to come and go as they please. Objects brought from outside the city must be reported to my chosen representative (OOC: this would be Sparks). Visitors may discuss subjects originating from outside the city, but nothing that would influence the decisions of the Rosin.

Law of Leaving

Rosin may leave the city, but must return within a week of their departure, reporting anything they bring back to my chosen representative. Before leaving you must place your hand upon the obelisk and state your destination. Those who fail to do so will be reprimanded. Rosin may enter the forest, but stick to the path. Rosin are never to go to the mountain, enter the Grey Tower, or enter the Industrial Complex.

Law of Destruction

Rosin are not to cause the city or any of its inhabitants harm. Constructs can be interacted with, but never turned from their assigned tasks. Rosin are not to deface, litter, or destroy any part of the city. This includes all of the items other Rosin own. Causing harm to another Rosin will be met with punishment. Causing death to another will be your undoing. Also note, if you cause anyone to break this law by verbal abuse, mental abuse, or by doing to him or her what he or she wish not to be done, then the victim shall be excluded from this law. The law shall still be valid for the guilty individual, and if they break this law for retaliation, they will be punished.

Follow these laws and your lives shall be plentiful. Purposely break them, and you will face punishment.

I will always be watching.

The Banned List

There is a sign in front of the city, set a goodly distance from the entrance to explain a list of items not allowed in the city. It was placed there to reduce the risk of Rosin knowing about them, and the Nameless One wishes to keep it that way. It reads:

"Visitors to Toxicity,

Please note that if you own or are carrying any of the following items into the city, that you must report them to my chosen representative before you do so. Failure will result in confiscation of the items, shortly followed by the destruction of the items. You will then be banished from entering the city. Items on the list will remain in the custody of my chosen representative until your departure.

Any item with a religious significance, books of war, books of violence, books of unsocial behavior, books of magic, phones, pagers, electronic organizers, data pads, tablets, computers, laptops, game consoles, hand held games, ipods, MP3 players, music with lyrics, televisions, DVD and video equipment, video cameras, photography equipment, newspapers and other forms of media similar, brand name clothes, brand name food and products, drugs, medication, currency, identification, motorized vehicles, hi-tech toys, and/or more than seven pieces of jewelry worn at any given time as well as any form of weapon.

Do not try to hide any of the above, as I will know."

The Grey Tower

This is the large stone tower that stands in the middle of the city, overshadowing the town like a colossus. The Nameless One resides in the tower's highest chamber, and is rumored to never talk to anyone but one lone construct. All the windows have been bricked up and sealed, and the only way into the tower is through ?The Door". The Door is actually an oddly shaped construct that fits in the archway entrance like a plug. There are few events that will get it to move, one being when Sparks will enter or leave, or a grievously injured Rosin is brought to its attention. In the latter case, The Door will pick up the Rosin and he will turn on the spot. There are no hospitals in Toxicity. It seems that the Nameless One alone deals with problems of that nature.

The Development House

When a child is born, it is taken to a house in the northeastern part of the city, near the industrial area. This is a wide two-story home that has many bedrooms. Each child is given a bedroom to live in and a few things to keep their interest. Sparks and the ?Nanny Construct", a larger than most construct with four arms and a pink apron, take care of the children?s needs such as food and safety, as well as some learning. Sparks is always toiling in his workshop in the basement, but often keeps an eye on the children.

The Houses

When a child is old enough to take care of itself (i.e., it becomes a teenager), it is moved into its own home. Each home is a small two-story building with all the necessities to live comfortably. Some of the features include: A bathroom, toilet, kitchen with running water, a bed, and a cooking area with a fridge. The houses have electrical power brought in by the power plant in the industrial area. The houses are located at the northern most part of the city, near the mountain.

The Local

The Local is a nickname for a small grouped bunch of facilities, located in the middle of the housing area. It has in it the following:

A large pool with diving platforms
A heated hot tub and sauna
A gym (Note: there are no punching bags or any equipment that could be used for combat training)
A Laundromat (No coins needed)
A general store
A hang out

The pool has a construct standing by on duty at all times, it?s only functions being to watch for victims of drowning and pull them out. The store also has a construct on duty. It is there to stop over consumption of goods, to point out where items are, and to stock the shelves. The hang out is basically a large room with chairs and sofas, coffee tables, a jukebox, and a pool table.

The Mall

The northwest portion of the city belongs to a giant two-story building that is the mall. The mall is a grouping of stores and eateries. These include:

Male and female clothing outlets: These both have all styles and sizes to suit both sexes. A construct is on duty and is able to make alterations on the spot to the clothes to help adjust fittings, such as for holes in the back of clothing for tails or extra limbs.

A shoe store: Shoes for any style or size, made to fit on the spot.

A lingerie and undergarment store: Both sexes shop here for their undergarments, though those of the lingerie style are only in sizes for adults.

A bathing suit/beachwear store: A store for both sexes to get swimwear and products such as sun block, towels, etc.

An electrical goods store: This houses most appliances for a household, such as toasters, microwaves, hair dryers, etc. Things that are not sold are televisions, radios, mp3 players, computers and the like.

A furniture store: A store that produces furniture, even custom made types

A music store: A store that stock piles CDs, but it is all only instrumental with no lyrics what so ever

A recreation store: This is where Rosin get things they desire to help with their hobbies. Art supplies, sports equipment, board games, puzzles, skateboards, bikes, and skates. Things of this nature are found here

A jewelry store: To get their bling-bling on, Rosin go here. It?s also the place to be pierced if you want to, but limited to seven piercings total, and only on the ears, nose, tongue, eyebrows and belly button

A personal product store: Things such as products for female problems, soaps, cleansers, beauty products, shavers, cologne, brushes, shampoos and condoms. These are all found here.

A candy store: A store that sells sugary delights

An ice-cream pallor: 64 different flavors of frozen numiness

A caf麠A place to sit and have some tea and cake

Three Restaurants: There are three types of dining experience. First is a snack bar, it serves burgers and fries and foods of that sort. Second is a dine-in international cuisine type of place; it serves pizzas, tacos, noodles, curry, and still more dishes of that sort. Lastly is an actual restaurant, a formal dining experience where there is a dress code required of formal wear only. This one has a construct in a tuxedo to open and close the door for patrons, making sure that they meet with the standards.

Each store and restaurant is run by constructs, so they are open 24/7. The mall also houses a fountain and garden at its center and seating areas are all over for those who wish to rest. There are stairs that go between the second and first floor. If your Rosin happens to order a lot or something large, there are constructs that deliver the items to their home and then return.

The Library

This is a large gothic inspired building with stone steps leading up to the entrance. Inside are categorized shelves upon shelves of books on nearly every subject. Subjects that are not covered are religion or any sort of belief system, magic, over graphically violent or explicit subjects, and war. Rosin may borrow return any book they wish, as long as they bring them back within a week's time. This building sits on the western side of the city.

Dance Club and Bar

In the southwestern corner of the city are two buildings that are connected. The first one houses a club that a four armed construct named DJ Rock will play and mix music to dance in. The club has changing lights over a dance floor and a bar. The bar serves no alcohol, instead only juice cocktails, water, and sodas, so anyone may enter there. The second building is a well made bar or pub that does serve alcohol. The bar is attended by a construct bigger than the others. It will stop serving your Rosin if they?ve had enough, keeping them from getting 'passed out drunk'. There are also some pool tables in the pub.

Industrial Area

At the far eastern side of the city is the industrial area. This is basically one giant building that is the home of the constructs. Those that are not attending stores or such are keeping the city maintained, and do so in shifts. The building is one large square rock with two chimneystacks. This only pumps out steam, so there is no risk of pollution. If anything becomes broken, this is where it goes to get repaired.

Botanical Gardens

This huge dome in the southeastern corner houses a huge selection of plant life. Plant Rosin likely will find themselves feeling very much at home in this place. The gardens are somewhat humid from the water and heat that come in. It is taken care of by the Gardener construct, and is well looked after. This is the only building in the city not constructed out of stone, but rather glass and steel.

Parks

There is a lot of well-groomed plant life around the city, but there are parks as well. One sits by the housing district, and another is more like a playground just outside the Development house. Yet another is by the Library, and the biggest one is between the Grey Tower and the entrance. The largest park has a fountain, a hedge maze, several park benches, a skate park with a half pipe, many a grill, and a large black onyx obelisk in the middle. Upon the obelisk is where the Laws are written.

The Lake

Just outside of the eastern wall is a large lake that feeds a small river running down the forest. It itself is fed by a waterfall that runs from the mountains. It is cool and fresh, and even freezes in winter. In the middle of the lake is a construct that acts very much like the Pool construct, his head just sitting above the surface of the water.

The Forests

East and West of the city walls are lush with oak trees and wild life. There are paths that lead out of the city and go a full circle in the forests. This gives the Rosin ample chance to walk and explore. Animals frequent the forests but keep their distance from the city most of the time.

The Mountain

North of the city stands a huge red rock mountain. The top seems to go on for ever and looks fairly stable. Rosin are told to never venture there and any that draw close to it get a feeling of doom and dread wash over them. The Nameless One has stated this place to be a no go zone, but his reasons as to why are unknown.
User Image

These are descriptions of the people that your Rosin will meet or know about in Toxicity.

"The Nameless One"

Only a few constructs and Sparks know about the individual that resides in the Grey tower. The original Rosin was the only one to lay eyes on him out of the Rosin, and cannot remember even what he looks like. The Nameless One created the Rosin and Toxicity. He has given the Rosin all they need, and all they are required to do is obey the rules. It is rumored that he is aware of all that goes on within Toxicity, but none know how such a thing is possible.

RP Note: Don?t expect to see him much unless something dramatic happens, or a Rosin does something bad.

"Sparks Metalgrinder"

Sparks is an old engineer that has technically been in the city longer than the Nameless One. He is a tinker gnome, a race of gnomes that base their culture around developing and building inventions and feats of engineering. He has a very humble but pleasant demeanour. He helped construct and design the city, so he knows every part of it. He's very short, about three feet tall, and is always wearing overalls, a tool belt and goggles. He lives in the Development house in the basement, and helps raise the newborn Rosin while working on who knows what. Sparks is often dirty from grease and oil, and his hair is unkempt with a huge patch of grey hair on top, both which he doesn't like to talk about.

User Image

RP Note: You will have no control of his actions, so only if he shows up will you get to interact with him. He'll be around fairly often, however, given his involvement in the beginning stages of each Rosin's life.

"The Constructs"

Nanny, DJ Rock, Bar Construct

Librarian Constuct, Gradener Construct, Tuxedo Construct

These beings are everywhere, and are the labourers of Toxicity. The are like thick solid statues of metal and stone. They perform their assigned duties till each task is done. They are all of one mind bar one, ?The First?, so if one construct knows an event, they all do. Even though they have no discernable anatomy, they happen to look like muscular men, so are often mistakenly addressed as ?He?s?. They do not speak, sleep, eat, drink or breath, and are not effected by the poisons of the Rosin. Although tireless, most of these are slow, and are emotionless. There are many in number, and vary in size and shape. However, some seem to have developed unique personality quirks.

This construct is entirely made of a black metal, and looks different from the rest. It appears more human like and is rather slender. This is the construct the stands at the door of the Nameless One?s room and takes the newborn Rosin to the Development house. Sparks highly respects this construct, and has even slipped and called it 'Master First' more than once.

"The Door"

This is by far the largest and widest construct of the lot. It guards, or more like blocks, the archway that leads into into the Grey Tower. It moves on two occasions; when ?The First? brings baby Rosin out, and in a medical emergency.

"Nanny Construct"

This gentle giant helps take care of the children at the Development house and is, it seems, the only construct capable of speech. Though able to talk, Nanny mostly is capable of one or two word sentences that are drawn out slowly with a sound like rusty metal in its speech. It wears a pink apron to give it a friendlier appeal, and has four arms to deal with heating milk and soft foods, as well as to deal with the children if need be. Its task is to keep the children happy and healthy and does so well, even interacting with the children.

"Pool Construct"

The vigilant life guard at the pool. It will always watch the pool and hot tub, and will never move or leave unless there is someone drowning.

"Lake Construct"

Like a brother to the Pool construct, this guardian has a very similar role for the lake.

"Store Construct"

These will keep stock up to date and interact with customers. They also make sure the Rosin obey the Law of Consumption. They are also the cooks at restaurants and seem to do so well.

"Tuxedo Construct"

One of these watches the entrance to the fine dining restaurant, keeping a strict dress code. Another inside serves as a waiter, offering menus and taking orders. They are so named these for the fact they are dressed in black tuxedos, with a white shirt and black bow tie.

"Librarian Construct"

This one actually spends time reading quietly at the desk. The only construct known that can read, it spends the rest of its time cataloguing the books. It knows who has each book, where they are and what they are about. Rosin need only to ask and it will show them.

"DJ Rock"

This four armed construct wears a backwards cap and a set of headphones. It is often seen moving a bit to the music and never stops DJing. It is quite open to taking requests, and often mixes things up with a style of its own.

"Bar Construct"

This huge construct runs the service of alcohol consumption at the bar. Firstly, it will not serve anyone but adults, and will often drag outside those that are too young. It follows the Law of Consumption, and decides when enough is enough. It almost seems willing to fight.

"Gardener Construct"

Another gentle soul in the guise of a machine. This construct cares for the plants in the botanical gardens. It cares for them daily, and is always moving around to water or feed them. It also seems to like the company of Plant Rosin and may offer a treat to them in the form of a pellet-like snack that for Plant Rosin makes them feel very energetic.

RP Note: Since there are so many constructs, when interacting with them during roleplay you will decide their actions unless they are being roleplayed by one of the store managers. Constructs do not speak. They usually just shake or nod their head when they interact with players. Ones like The Door or Pool Construct do not even really listen to players, and simply do their job. Constructs are not indestructible, but being made of metal and steel they are quite tough. If you intend to destroy one they will fight back, especially Bar Construct. Nanny, Gardener, Bar, Library, Tuxedo and DJ Constructs are more human in nature than the others, and these will avoid having themselves defaced or toyed with. The other constructs you could go so far as to scribble on or spraypaint as long as you did not hinder their tasks. Any construct attacked will fight back, and will use enough force to detain the Rosin responsible and take them to Sparks. Constructs are slow, but they hit like trucks, only ever using enough force to detain troublesome Rosin. Fight them long enough and they gather more of them and begin to get better at fighting that particular Rosin.

The Rosin begin life as children and gradually evolve into older forms of humanoids. Each evolution for all Rosin consists of them getting extremely tired and sleeping for a twenty four hour period. The physical changes happen while they sleep, and usually are not painful. When they awaken, they retain all the memories of their previous stage, but have taken on the attitude and maturity of their new stage of evolution. They will also open up knowledge in their minds with each stage as if years of learning and expirience had flooded their mind at once.

Child

Rosin start off as a child of around five to eight years old. Although a newly created creature, they carry with them the average assembly of knowledge for their age group. Rosin at this time have aspects of their poisons present, but usually smaller in detail.

User Image

Teen

Ah, the wonder years. This is a time for hormones to thrive and wreck havoc. Teen Rosin are within the ages of twelve to sixteen years, and the changes of puberty are not the only things. A teen's aspects take on greater characteristics of their poison, and control of their functions becomes easier.

Adult

The Rosin has now blossomed into a fully grown adult! Having made the jump into the age group of between twenty and thirty, they are ready for deeper relationships, higher responsibilities, and the higher control of their special gifts allowed to their more mature minds and bodies. It is also possible for adult Rosin to be able to bear children. Rosin are not really related, so relationships between them are possible

Growth Requirements

Rosin require roleplaying to grow, it's simple enough, do not RP them, they will not grow. Rosin must fill these requirements before growing each stage.

Child stage: Starting point

Teen stage: 3 months of time passing, 3-4 completed RP's, 1 personal journal entry, 1 event attendance or at least another 2 completed RP's instead

Adult stage: Another 3 months of time passing, another 3-4 completed RP's, 1 personal journal entry, 1 event attendance or at least another 2 completed RP's instead

A completed RP means that it comes to a noticable ending, and also an RP is not considered 3-4 posts. We are looking to see some effort, not just "Jane sat on a log... the end"

If you are elidgable for a growth, please PM the shop mule and let me know. Some rosin are already taken care of, but I'm as of yet unsure of who needs to be grown. Please keep in mind that the artists have lives and I consider them all my friends, so as much as you whine, the can only go so fast and i won't bug them on your behalf.
