Destiny Of Dragons
Long ago in the lands of Perdula there lived six dragons, The Dragon of Water, The Dragon of Fire, The Dragon of Earth, The Dragon of Air, The Dragon of Light and The Dragon of Dark. The dragons were the protectors of Perdula, seen as the Gods who looked down upon the races of the planet. The people loved them and often had ceremonies and dances in honour of them.
But not everyone saw the dragons as protectors, some saw them as pests, rodents that took advantage of the people. They decided to take action and sought help with a Necromancer called Marcon.
Marcon was an evil man, who tortured poor souls and cast spells on those he felt like. He was banished from Perdula because of his cruel acts and hid himself deep in the mountains.
On hearing the plans of the people he jumped at the chance to help them destroy the dragons. Destroying the dragons would mean he could slip into power; the people would soon follow his ways.
Calling upon the forces of the undead Marcon led the army towards the Dragons. The dragons needed to stop Marcon but instead of trying to keep the peace war broke out between the two. The dragons and the undead were constantly battling. It seemed to go on for years.
If you thought the war was bad enough you were wrong, when the war seemed close to finishing, Marcon, his army and the dragons all disappeared. No one knew why and slowly the people gave up hope. What happened was a mystery to everyone.
With out the dragons people had no hope and slowly small quarrels between brothers and sisters were full blown fights with the neighbour. No one would believe the dragons had gone and blamed each other for the selfish ways. Slowly people began to live with out their gods and got on with their lives.
Around one hundred years later on the day that the dragons disappeared, six eggs appeared dotted around the land of Perdula. It so happens that these eggs were destined to be stumbled upon by six chosen people. These six don't yet know the responsibilities that they have yet to face.
But it wasn't only the eggs that appeared those many years later, Marcon did too.
