Hiya, welcome to my little almost-fantastic just-short-of-incredible art auction shop. I don't get a whole lot of free time to do commission drawings, but I made a little shop for the now and again I do one, because I like to keep all that sort of stuff together organized in one thread (I'm complusive that way.) I'll mostly be holding sporadic auctions which will vary depending on what I'm in the mood to do. The auctions will be for various types of avatar art or breedables lineart. Please pay attention to the details of the current auction to see what is currently being offered.
I usually hold my auctions for at least a couple days so people get a chance to see them and in case Gaia decides to be screwy for part of it. Heck, even if nothing is really going on, feel free to drop in and say hi or something. Its usually kinda quiet in here...
Where can you see some of my work? Well first off the best place is the good ol' Art Arena! I highly recommend you check out all the art I have posted there. I've also been through several minishops, not all of which are still open- the Little Fox Shoppe, the Kitsubi Community Shoppe, and Under the Kobaki Tree.

NOTICE: I'm looking for feedback on what people think of the thread now that I've remodeled it. Is there enough info, or is there *too* much? Do you like some of the sketches for lineart coming up?

Basic Rules:
General auction courtesy applies, I don't want any rudeness.
No PM bidding, all bids must be placed here. (I actually prefer you don't PM me period, my box is pretty full and I do read the posts here, so if you have a question or something post and I'll get back to you.)
Only bid if you seriously intend to follow through and actually have that amount.
No 'sniping', you must at least expressed interest 1/2 hour before the auction closes if you have not yet made a bid.
No editing of bid posts is allowed, you will be disqualified. If you want to update your bid make a new post.
Team bidding is okay if you guys can settle it amongst yourselves.
Winner is the last bid made at around auction close time with no further bids made 10 minutes after. This is also to prevent sniping. If another bid is made 10 minutes more must pass without futher bidding before the auction will close.

No other items are accepted without my approval, if you want to offer something else ask before using it in a bid (I generally put value at mid-range GEN price.) Sorry I'm not really interested in donator letters (other than very old ones), I already have extra recent letters and all the letter items since September 2003. I tend to prefer gold bids since I'm generally pretty low on gold. If you include items in your bid please add up your total value.

Breedables Lineart Auctions- More Information:
I've always like to draw an assortment of odd creatures, and thus I've come up with a lot of ideas for minishops (I like drawing a lot of things, from merfolk to mythological creatures to various combinations of regular animals or anthropomorphic humanoids.) I don't really have the free time to develop and run all my ideas, though I've run a couple minishops myself, so I decided maybe I could give them to someone else to make use of. So thus I decided to do lineart and idea/concept auctions to sell my very favorite designs. Honestly I think I'm better at drawing lineart than coloring anyway, so its fun for me to make it for other people to use. Lineart auctions will generally begin at 8000g, depending on the number of outlines provided. I'll generally do a minimum of 2-3 forms, possibly also variations for each gender. They will also have a fairly long duration so many people have a chance to view the art and decide if they want to make a shop around it.
I probably won't offer any open-commission lineart until I see how the stuff I make sells.

The auctions are for the outline artwork and idea only. You get the lineart, in .psd format (or whatever image type you want me to save it as), to use for the basis of a minishop. It will be in the original large size and the size I chose to make it for samples, so if you don't like the sizes I've picked you can change them. This lineart will then belong to you for your use, I of course will not use it nor give it to anyone else. You can color it as you wish, and set up the shop as you wish. YOU are responsible for coloring the lineart (or hiring and paying your own artists) and YOU are the one who runs the shop. The money you make from the shop is yours, the only thing you pay me is the final auction price. You charge what you want for the finished product. You're responsible for sales and shop operation. You are the one to make things like shop banners and tags for the creatures unless seperate arrangements are made.
I generally have a story idea behind what I create, which the winner can take or leave or alter as they like. You're also free to re-name the creatures if you come up with something better than what I call them.
I may (well, I'm sure I WILL) stop in and see how things are going and maybe offer ideas or suggestions (so I definately want a link when you have a thread up! heart ) Hopefully I can give a chance to someone who maybe isn't the greatest at drawing to run a fun shop. Please only bid if you seriously have the time to devote to running and maintaining a full minishop and are ready to get it running a decent amount of time after the auction.
I retain rights as the creator of the lineart and would like a line of credit in your shop. You can alter the lineart somewhat if you want to make variations. One final thing I ask- I'd like to get a pet of my own when the shop opens for free 3nodding Just one for me. It doesn't have to be a custom or anything, I actually generally like to just pick one I like best.

Shop Banners and Certificates/Tags:
I generally offer the option of making shop banners and/or tags for you. This is optional depending if you would rather do them yourself or if you want me to do them. I need to know a general size and color scheme for each. For banners I need to know which ones you need. For certificates I need to know what information you want included. Most basic tags include pet name, gender, growth stage (ie egg, juvenile, adult), etc. Other optional info can include the generation number, personality, shop or creature name, colorist name, etc. These are not pre-made, I make them only if requested so they can be made to fit what you'd like.
A tag will be an extra 550g and can include whatever information you want. A set of shop banners will be an extra 600g, including a title banner and section banners.

Males are on the left, females on the right. The males have small beards, while the females have longer manes and more fluff on their legs.

SPECIAL! Here is a sample of an adolescent male with nightmare wings and an adolescent female with angelic wings! These can be earned for all forms if the auction meets the requirements.

Here are some samples of animal and creature type artwork I've done. Most of it isn't finished lineart, its mostly sketches, but it still shows some of the types of things I've drawn and my style.

Above is just a quickie sketch I did of the forms when I first thought of them. There will be different poses for male and female, and I think a couple choices for adult stages. The elder, which would be a special late state, is not pictured.

Budlings lineart auction
Some cute little flower buds that grow into plant-like
fairy creatures. 2 genders, 4 stages of growth. Can be
used for moderate RP, breedable.
Sample (rough pencil sketches of first two stages. Last two stages not pictured yet since I don't have them finalized. I was thinking of using the row of buds as part of a shop banner.

Also, here is something I did similar to the budlings, but different, which I don't know if I'll pursue. I kinda got into a plant-people drawing mood sweatdrop

*Foxicorns lineart auction
Cute creatures that are like foxes and unicorns. (Yeah I can't seem to help drawing foxy creatures!) Not too much backstory, but they're cute. 4 stages, 2 genders. Intended to be breedable, probably could be used for roleplay too.

*Baa-bits lineart auction
Weird fey sheep... fluffy things with wings that grow
up out of odd twiggy nests. Don't ask me how they
survive since the little things don't actually seem to
fly. Only 3 stages of growth but many varieties in
both genders. Females have large ears, while males have horns. Each type has a different set of wings (bat, feather, butterfly, dragonfly, fairy, maybe more?) Probably only light RP if any, pretty
standard breeding. They're kind of intended for
someone who wants to make a lot since their life cycle
is pretty short.
Sample (most of these are pretty rough pencil drawings but they give you kind of an idea.

Anteater lineart auction
Some anteater-like creatures with little wings. Not
sure how many stages yet. I'm open to suggestions of what they "hatch" from, I don't want to do just an egg. Probably moderately RP-able
and breedable.

Kirin/Kilin creature lineart auction
Creatures styled after Asian folklore. They emerge from pretty
glowing lanterns. Probably 4 stages, 2 genders. These
could probably be heavily RP-ed and should be
breedable.

Merfolk lineart auction
Mermaid-like creatures with pretty fins who grow up
out of spiraled conch shells. Their egg is inserted in
the shell and they absorb its color. 4 stages of
growth, 2 genders. Probably could be heavily RP-ed and
breedable. I havn't seen to many sea-oriented
breedables so I think these could be a hit.

*Dark Musings- demons lineart auction
These are demons that get released from a book of dark
writings. The type of writing in the book deturmines
the demon (for instance, dark poetry, dark fiction,
dark secrets, etc.) They start as a book with a dark
aura around it, which is locked and has a keyhole in
front. Once the book is named by an owner, a key will
eventually appear. When the book is unlocked it
transforms into a demon who has a lock somewhere on
their body, so they can be locked again to return to
book form. The demons are pretty standard, humanoid
variations with horns, wings, and a devil tail. Only
the holder of the key has power over them. Probably
moderate RP potential. These will probably only have
2-3 stages but will be fairly detailed and a wide
variety. I don't know if you could set up breeding
since they tend to be genderless and arise from an
aura that gathers in a book rather than actual
reproduction. Maybe some kind of ceremony could
empower new books using the power from current demons?
Sample This is the demon drawing I did, which was for something unrelated, but inspired this idea. I'd redraw him somewhat to use for this.

If my lineart auctions do decently, I may consider doing a custom breedables lineart auction.
