The chances of something falling out of the sky and landing on your head are very, very slim -- unless, of course, a bird was directly aiming defecate on your head.

So it makes sense that when a glob of jelly -- a sort of jelly that is oddly appetizing in its jiggly shininess -- lands on your head, it does so for a reason. Well, that or a bird that relieves itself in jelly form just, er, relieved itself in jelly form on your head.

However, if you look past its deceptive, appetizing, and shiny exterior and manage to keep from eating it long enough, the glob of jelly, in fact, grows to become a hypnotically cute kitten-type thingy.

These kitties, upon forming themselves into said kitties, align themselves with one of the four seasons: autumn, winter, spring, or summer. While they are VERY happy to have finally found a friend that did not eat them whilst they arrived on this plain in jelly form, oftentimes their season alignment will affect their moods slightly.

As such, the kitties gain personalities that are quite different from one another. An autumn kitten tends to have small bouts of depression if left alone for too long, and a summer kitten often has quite a short temper. But regardless of all that, they are all quite happy and would love nothing more than to be with their newfound friends.

Their reasons for coming down to befriend humans are still unknown, as the kittens seem to be reluctant to reveal them. They are telepathic creatures, but as they are very happy most of the time, it's rather hard to get them to tell you anything more important than, "Wowwww, that was fun! Yaaaaaay!" or "Oh no, you're going to miss your plane!" or, more commonly, "Meeheeheeheeheehee!" However, the first kitten to successfully arrive on Earth and not get eaten, Tsumirei's own Minamoo, let slip a bit of their mission in the form, "Heeheeheehee, gonna save you! Meeheeheeheehee!" and so on and so forth.

And thus, here are the Clouded Kittens. Well, if you can stand not to eat them.

These flying kitten-like creatures are what many call the Seasonal kittens. Each kitten is born in a specific season, each season holding unique powers and benefits. Seasonal Kittens also have unique traits depending on what season they were born in, many of these traits depending on the climate.

Starting Stage: JELLY. - The kitten has fallen into the palm of your hands! What season have they aligned themselves with? Treat the jelly with great care ; it can influence their personality. If you swallow it, you'll have an allergic reaction, and in any way possible, the jelly will pop out again. If it doesn't pop out on rare occassions...well...we'll let you deal with that on your own...

Fall / Autumn - Autumn kittens are very emotional. They are very sensitive and take metaphors literally. If you do not spend time talking to it and loving it, it might just get a little depressed.

Winter - Winter kittens are cheerful kittens. They smile a lot, but don't get absorbed into the over-excited feeling. If you do not spend time with it, it'll turn cold and chilly and lose its smile.

Spring - Spring kittens are the hyper and overly-excited kittens! They smile all the time and will play around with kittens anyday. If you do not spend time with them, their personality turns to a very dull personality.

Summer - Summer kittens are not over-excited but they never get depressed. Maybe it's the fiery weather that keeps them going. But beware- they have short tempers, and when they blow the fuse, you better run!

Flatsales are the easiest way to obtain kittens.
Flatsale Rules
1. You must wait for Clouded Kitten to post "GO" in big letters. It can be any color, except for white.
2. You must use the form when ordering! It MUST be posted after GO. Any forms posted before will be ignored.
3. Don't edit your posts unless given permission!
4. There will be no reservations ; yet having a friend buy one for you is fine
5. First come, first serve. Don't pout, get mad, etc. because you didn't get one.
6. Each kitten is 1,000 gold [ 1k ] each! // You must have the money ready! If you don't, you'll be banned.
7. Send all trades to Clouded Kitten.
- Please do not discourage people in "adopting" kittens. <3
- One kitten per flatsale please!

Auctions
Auctions are used specially for cosplay kittens, rare kittens, etc. Starting Bids will always be 1000 gold [ 1k ], and Minimum Increment will always be 1000 gold [ 1k ]!
Auction Rules
1. NO RETRACTING BIDS!
2. There is an anti-snipe rule! Be prepared.
3. Trade must be sent within 24 hours of the auction's end. [ Send trades to Clouded Kitten ]
4. Do not discourage people to bid.

Raffles
Raffles are used especially for uncommon kittens, offspring, etc. Raffles are very rare! The most common type of sale is a flatsale. So don't count on raffles...Tickets are always 100g, and there is a maximum of 50 tickets. You may buy for a friend.
1. 100 gold per ticket.
2. Max. of 50 tickets ; even if you already have 50 and your friend wants to buy more.
3. Send trade to this mule, with the title "Clouded Kitten Raffle, # of tickets". Change # of tickets to the number of tickets you are buying.
4. Have fun with raffles! Don't discourage people to purchase tickets.

Custom kittens...are custom! You choose tail color, eye color, body color, everything! It can't be cosplay though, cosplays are auction only! Though Original Characters are okay. :3
Anyway, when ordering a custom, you have to be as specific as possible! If you don't, the computer-science engineering major of an artist, will get too confused, and she'll quit. So be specific, for goodness sake, if you want it done as soon as possible.

Breeding can be between Male+ Male, Female +Female, or Male+Female. If it is Male+Male, Female+Female, infertile kittens will be produced, which means that they cannot breed.

If Male+Female...
You must have RPed these two kittens together, showing some love, confessing their love, etc. If not, then you can't breed I mean, it's just wrong forcing two kittens to breed against their will...
When you have done that, there will be a breeding fee of 500 gold per owner. When everything is confirmed, you are on your way to having kittens! After 2-5 days, the female will give birth to 1-3 kittens. When that has happened, each owner must decide which they will keep. You must compromise amongst each other! We will not pick for you. Any unwanted jellies will be auctioned or [ rarely ] raffled off, and you do not get any profit. Unless we feel nice, of course.

When you have met the above requirements and breeding is open, please post in the thread stating which 2 kittens you would like to breed. Please also post their owners. :3
