~Lotto Information~

Total lotto money = 79 100g
1st prize = 40 000g
2nd prize = 20 000g
3rd prize = 5 000g
4th prize = 1 000g

~Miniprize: Person who bought most tickets gets 2 000g~
~Miniprize: Person with greatest average ticket price gets 1 000g~ (min 2 tickets total)
~Miniprize: Person with greatest ratio of odd:even tickets gets 1 000g~ (min 1 of each kind of ticket)
~Miniprize: Person with greatest ratio of even surprised dd tickets gets 1 000g~ (min 1 of each kind of ticket)
~Miniprize: Person with most tickets in a row gets 1000g~

Ticket cost = 1-400g (see post 3 for details)

~Rules~

1. Do not PM me to beg for gold/items, to buy tickets, to spam. Requests for affiliation can be done in either PMs or the thread, as long as it's proper affiliation and not a 'dump banner and run' advertisement. Ask all lotto-related questions in this thread, it's just easier that way.
2. Do not advertise in this thread.
3. Follow the TOS (duh).
4. Use decent grammar and spelling. I don't mind occasional typos and sometimes chatspeak as a joke, but do your best to type properly when communicating.
5. Do not ask for ticket rolls if you don't have enough money.
6. Do not throw a fit if you don't win or get a high ticket number. I'll be doing the rolls in this thread, so it's easy to see and fair for all.
7. Title the trade correctly! It just makes it that much easier for me to keep records. And it's not hard, dammit. Please? >_<
8. You cannot win more than one of the major prizes. However, you can win a major prize and any/all of the minor prizes.
9. I can add more rules as I think of them at any time. I'll usually be nice and warn people of changes in the thread. 3nodding

Bold rules get instant naughty-listing if broken. Italic rules get warnings or naughty-listing if serious enough. Others are general guidelines. (Exceptions may occur, depending on my mood and severity of rule-breaking. @__@ )

~How It Works~

So what can I win?
You can win 40 000g, 20 000g or 5 000g, depending on what place your ticket gets. You cannot win more than once in the same lotto, however.
There are also mini-prizes. You can win as many of those as possible, in addition to the main prizes.
What are my chances of winning?
There are 400 tickets, and you can buy as many tickets as you want. ^-^
Yay! How much do they cost?
This is the tricky bit. The tickets are numbered from 1 to 400 (duh) and cost the same amount as your number. This means if you buy ticket #35, you pay 35 gold for it. #76 costs 76 gold, and so on.

Please note! In this lotto, all tickets divisible by 40 are HALF PRICE! whee

Um, no. >_< The procedure is this:
1. You ask for a ticket.
2. I use Gaia's random number action to randomly select your ticket. (Yes, me. Not you. This ensures fairness for everyone.)
3. You pay for that ticket and I record it.

If you choose not to buy that ticket, you cannot buy any more tickets! This is to stop people from trying to get me to reroll lower numbers for them.
Wait, but what if there are 3 tickets left and you keep rolling numbers that have been taken?
I have a special system where I know how many tickets are left all the time, and which ticket is where on the list of those left. So I'll only ever be rolling out of the tickets that aren't taken.
What if I don't want my ticket any more?
I'm sorry, I will only refund tickets if I have to close the lotto for whatever reason. If that occurs, I promise to refund them in full.

How do I title the trade?
The title of your trade should be

Lotto 4 - ____ gold ticket payment

This helps me make sure you've got the right amount of gold in the trade, and provides easy verification that everyone has paid later if necessary.
How much time do I have to pay for the ticket?
I'd prefer if you paid within 24 hours. I will send you a reminder pm in 3 days if I haven't seen you in the thread and after a week I will cancel your reservation for that ticket.

How will you judge the lotto winners?
I will use the random number function once again in this thread to pick out the 3 winning tickets. 3nodding
