Do you find Gaia's dull blue sidebars very dreary?

Would you much rather have something different to look at?

I'm not talking about anything too complicated here, just a small choice of patterns/ colours would be nice, many forum sites give you the option to choose your prefered look, it would be very much appreciated if we could have that choice here too.
I really dislike the blue, it makes the forum pages look squashed and mean, the Valentine's background, whilst admittedly a bit girly and not one the boys would choose, was much easier on the eye, i for one would love to have the option of using that beautiful background every day 3nodding
And the pale blue, winged Anniversary Ball background was just great!
