Spam is advertising, quest posts, bumping, insane amounts of images, etc. Posting it gets you deleted/ignorelisted. Quoting it is irritating - don't do it.

We don't like moochers. If you want art, either draw someone first or start up a conversation and, sure enough, someone will draw you.
[>] DO NOT BE A DOUCHE
If you think someone's art sucks and want to tell them this? Don't be an a*****e. Constructive criticism is nice - not douchebaggery. Alternately, want somebody to draw you and nobody obliges? Tough s**t.
[>] DO NOT POST IMAGES LARGER THAN 500x500
If it's bigger than that, put a link or thumbnail with a link.
