Please note that these characters are RP-required. If you do not have the time or dedication to roleplay, please do not try for one. Also note that this shop will be full-literate, which means grammar and spelling do count. If your English is not so hot, please use a spell-checker.
This sale will be an RP-prompt flatsale. Please reply to the following prompt:
It's been a long, cold night...winter does tend to have that effect. As tired as you are, though, you can't help but reflect. One of the stories told this evening...it struck you so deeply. Made you remember so much...
When submitting your response, please include:
Your name
Character's name
Character's nationality
Which character you are trying out for (either 1 or 2)

1. No co-owning. These characters are RP-heavy and I just don't see how it would work with more than one owner.
2. Please post all entries in this thread.
3. Items will be accepted. Please post the items you are thinking of using and either Jyoti or Enhaya will tell you if they are accepted.
4. All Gaia and Lotus rules apply.
5. No extensions unless either Jyoti or Enhaya say so.
6. Payment plans may be worked out if you do not have enough gold.
7. Do not edit your entries after you submit them.
8. Only one entry per person.

You know those two examples on the front page? Are they the two characters being flatsaled or is it only a sample of what the artist can do and the winners will have to describe the appearance a bit?
The examples are just to show what the artist can do. If you win, your character will be completely original. For example, if you chose China, your character would be based around Chinese culture. You may make some suggestions as to what you would like to see in the appearance of your character, but ultimately the artist decides that. You will, however, have complete control over your character's personality, and that will be worked into the character design.
As I answer the prompt, will I be RPing as the character I want?

If we win, do we get to choose our artist? Or will it be random?
It is random. Or rather, Enhaya and I will decide which ones we want to do.

Hello everyone! We're very sorry to keep you waiting so long, but we finally have the results for Lotus' first flatsale!
Firstly, thank you to everyone who entered. It was so hard to choose just two entries, as all of them were very good.
Without further ado:
Asian-based- Aletea (MONGOLIA)
Western-based- Amiliane (SCOTLAND)
Also- After a bit of discussion, Jyoti and Enhaya think that in terms of sheer intensity of effort, sticky_berry really went all-out. If she so chooses, she can have an honorary, 1-stage character from Enhaya for 5k. This will in no way bar her from trying for a full, four-stage PC at any time in the future. heart
Again, thank you everyone! We're both very happy that this flatsale was such a success! We hope that you guys hang around the shop and participate in future events! We're going to let you know that there are more chances to get a Lotus character coming up very, very soon. There will be two auctions starting up in a few days!
