Shutensa Information

Welcome to the combined world of Dreamland and Aquila Academy. We've made a new thread to make all the information easier to access. The old thread is located here.

Updates

30 Aug 2oo6 [ Aquila Academy ] - All residents of Aquila Academy -- please wrap up your current role play. There is a 90% chance that the world of Shutensa will be time jumped. This is a good time to get rid of unwanted characters, and start brainstorming new ones. More information will become available soon. With this time jump, children avatars who have been role played a lot will grow. Do not worry about your current students or avatars, as everything has been considered to work them into the time jump. Thank you.

Paths of the Shutensa . . .

Professions are fairly new to Dream Land. Jobs have three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Master. Jobs/Professions are called 'CRAFTs' or 'PATHs'. There are advanced classes for these paths beyond what is listed here. More information on those will be coming soon.

You cannot sell your Shutensa. If you don't want it anymore, it becomes the property of the shop to be dealt with as we see fit.

Rule VII

The guild is godly for keeping information. We highly advise everyone to donate 2500 to the guild and get a forum of your own. It is perfect for journals, roleplay, and notes.

Rule VIII

Leave if you have a problem the way this shop is run.

Rule IX

One player cannot have two avatars, unless this is cleared by the thread owners beforehand Generally, students only have one avatar.

Rule X

Upon failure of payment, be it gold, items, or a pet trade -- the avatar becomes invalid. We will take it away, and do with it as we see fit, which could include giving it to another person as we don't want to see hard work put to waste. We will never take away an avatar we gift unless you break rules.

Rule XI

Godmodding is a big no no! If the character is not yours, don't control it unless you have permission from the real owner of the character!

Rule XII

TERMS OF SERVICE!! Abide by Gaia TOS! Repeated offenses to this will result in your characters being expelled! The administration here does not want their thread and guild deleted because you are horny!

Rules are subject to change! Changes can happen at any time, and without announcement if neccessary.

Q: What is this about clothes? Weapons? Does my avatar come with clothes?

A: Normal avatars do not come with clothes. Their bodies generally have more designs on them (and no they do not feel naked running around without clothes). They can get quests for clothes and weapons when they reach their adult stage. There will also be times when items might just be available for purchase through one of the stores.

Q: What is the difference in a flatsale avatar as opposed to a custom auction avatar?

A: If it is a custom, naturally the owner will be able to choose nearly everything (assuming you don't overspecify in which case you give the artist to creative room to breath). If it is a flatsale, they are all precolored and without clothes. In some cases, the child stage of the flatsale shu will only be colored unique. Different hair designs might not show up until the adult stage because we take into consideration the class and personality of the player.

Q: Oh my god! 50k for a flatsale?! wtf?!

A: 50k is broken into two parts, one for each shop owner. And it covers the amount time it takes to color each Shu's child and adult forms (and any others that may come along -- like event forms and so on).

Q: What do the dorms look like?

A: The dorms are formatted sort of like a two bedroom apartment since the dorms are co-ed. There is a main common room in between the two bedrooms and a kitchen. Both bedrooms have a private bathroom.

Auctions are straightforward. Don't bid unless you have the items. The auction will always have the following information on its own thread. It will list a start and end time, a starting bid, and an autobid. There will be a link to the auction always put on the front page of this thread. Generally, we'll use Mid Lucky Gen to rate donation items and possibly a select few other items. Further information as to if you can co-own, will be listed in each individual auction thread.
