The intentions of this post are to explain to you my gaia history, reasons why I should be a donation receiver (as pety as my attempts to communicate this to you may come out as...), and, most of all, reasons why I am questing, ultimately.

My gaia term dates back to late March 2004. I'd just joined around about March 28th I believe it was. First and foremost, I was hesitant to join. But after the urge of one of my friends got to me, I decided to, and today I am glad I did. The name I was under at the time was habzygrl. Unfortunately I shudder at the thought of such a name, but hey.

My first few days of gaia consisted of posting in the welcome to gaia section. On my first day I spent time reading all of the stickies, lurking about, trying to learn what I could in my confused state. Soon came the day, about a week or so in, that I discovered Minishops, home of adorable adoptables, kind-hearted souls, and (for the somewhat most part) literate people.

The addiction of mine towards both gaia and minishops grew by the day. A little while later, in mid 04', I discovered breedables. Another place I came to enjoy, love, and benefit from; both mentally and otherwise. I gained friendship, expanded my vocabulary through roleplay, and expanded my knowledge as a whole. It's done a lot of good to me, and prevented me from wanting to quest so much, the focus allowing itself to translate into wishing for more 'pets' and/or to roleplay.

Ever since that time, I have never turned back. Since then I have dedicated myself to that forum, it being where I most occupy myself when on gaia, and I have grown into a GD lurker, PD (occasionally) poster, and in recent times, even an AT (somewhat) lurker/poster.

I have had my ups and downs during these times, taking an extensive break from gaia back in early 05' I believe. Or perhaps mid. Nonetheless, coming to gaia has been an experience I will never forget, an experience I have never regretted, one I WILL never regret, and one that I hope to continue on for years.

It has taken me a long time merely to gain what glimpse of status I have. I do not deem myself to be popular, nor do I deem myself to be almighty and OMGZLUUK@MEEEEIMSUUCUUULLLOL0L0L01L111!. -Ahem- Yes, imitating the stupid is just as degrading as actually being one. I apologize, but I feel it most proper to explain I'm not trying to brag with my first sentence.

Now... As I was saying, it's taken me a long time to get where I am. Sure, I could've very well donated during these times, but really... it never occured to me to do so. Especially since 1) My mom might not've approved at the time. and 2) I wanted to be sure I was fully and completely devoted to any place I was ready to donate to. Okay so maybe more 1 than 2, but you get the point I'm sure. xp

I have all but kicked myself in the a** a thousand times over now for having not grasped all of the wonderful donation items while I might could've. But one mustn't dwell on the past, and if I wait for the future, inflation could turn my last chance at this into the equivalent of seeking an 03' item, at which point I'd have no chance. Why do I wish for these items? Well, first of all, I have never -really- quested for anything. Even when I first joined gaia, I can't remember wanting to beg for gold. Sure, I came and lurked and watched the others, to get a feel of things for the future. But so unprepared was I, and thusly didn't feel the need to or want to. Furthermore, I'd like to think of myself as a nice person. Why that's a reason to donate to me is beyond me, but hey, some people love being nice to nice people, and I'm one of those some people, so why not take the chance that you are, too? :B Haha... But really, another reason is because in exactly two months from tonight, on March 27th, I will be celebrating my birthday. I will be 17 years of age, and just the day after that, I will be celebrating my 2nd gaiaversary.

It's quite unrealistic for me to believe I can achieve my goal by these dates, so of course I do not. Nevertheless, I do feel that, while many may see it as impossible, it is possible for me to achieve. My determination to have the rainbow-arrayed collection, along with hard work and dedication, I feel will in the end, hopefully, and with your help, prove successful towards my endeavors. So please, be so kind as to read further and, if you could spare a single G or two, donate? :B

My current item of questing is the following:. That's the January 04' letter, valued at 140,000G-150,500G. My reasons for attempting it first should be self explanatory, but are merely conclusive that I want to grasp it before inflation does, the evil bugger. :B

You're probably asking yourself why I'm starting my quest with so low an amount of funds. Well, I have just finished saving up 300K for a custom breedables pet, a shaoilin wolf. I have to wait for customs to open, but the other is my excess and completely going towards my quest. I started that quest with nothing and was able to achieve it. I feel as long as my heart is into the matter, I will do fine. If you are disagreeing to this, then that is fine. You are entitled to your opinion, and you are never required to post and/or donate. :3

I'm constantly switching my location about gaia, and constantly alternating in the activities I partake in. As a result, I've not as much time as I could have for bumping. Those of you that bump may receive a complementary gift from me, and, at random, those who bump may receive a small gift of either gold, or a hand-written thank you note, decorated all nice and such. :3

I will be creating adoptables in the extremely near future that will be given to donators upon a certain amount. Some will be animated, some won't be. ALL donators will receive a hand-written thank-you note, filled with love and appreciation. heart

The adoptables, once created, will be posted here, along with details of which donators will receive them. I do not think of/consider these to be products you are purchasing. Not in the least. Rather, I view them as thank-you notes from the heart. It's just my way of saying thank you for believeing in my endeavors, and helping me along in my way towards success.
