Full Name: Kheviel Nightfeather
Nicknames: Khev, Nightfeather, Black
Race: Elven
Age: Couple centuries
Hair: Light Brown, almost tawny sometimes
Eyes: Golden Hazel
Complexion: Light
Markings: Scars, 3 - right side waist, 4 inches in, curving from side to front; left chest to abdomen, 7 inches approx., across the heart; back, diagonal from right shoulder to lower left back at waist level.

Personality: Honorable to the innocent, kills only those who have earned death for actions or in true self-defense. Abhors maltreatment of the innocent - kills those who murder or otherwise bring harm and pain upon those undeserving. Sarcastic, witty, sharp of mind and wit and tounge. Self-sufficient, slightly prideful, a touch of arrogance to throw off the opposition, but often humble when not throwing up a facade. his ethics may seem odd to some, but he justifies every action and every death - he will not kill without good cause and reason, though he may harm them greatly if they are deserving by wronging innocents or society. Occasionally protective of others, and often times giving. Faces danger and problems head-on, even if a little fooishly in doing so. Does not back down, and does not run away.

Short Bio: Kheviel came from another world some time back - he refuses to let on in details as he finds them irrelevent. It was there he originally learned his craft of killing, yet held to his ethics of killing even then. He still does now, even though he is paid to kill, he will refuse any contract upon an innocent soul. Course, they are by his determinatins, but he is not petty or cruel - one must makea severe infraction of law in order to bring down his blade [or cause some serious sisue for an innocent such as a child]. He is defensive of himself, pefering to remain an enigma to most, and put on an act to decieve and keep others wary - a part of how he's stayed alive even with severe odds of competitions and clans who all want him dead. While not exactly the best, he is effective, clean, and quick about his work when paid; his personal wrath againxst those who wrong people is terrible, and in his eyes, justice being served. Still, he will not torture - merely make a fitting death punishment to match the crime.

He has refused to join a number of top assassination clans and organizations, including refusing by killing the offerer when they attacked him [on orders to kill any who refused] and has earned some emnity. Thanks to his own training, he has covred his tracks thus far, but the past and present are weaving a tricky web which may just curtail his plans on living a lot longer.

He has some worries about the afterlife - less about getting the 'good life' there, but a slight fear of damnation. He doesn't believe what he does is wrong, however some condemn him. He would rather not exist, then be damned for actions he sees as justifyably right - sending the damned to their rightful place as soon as possible for crimes.

Kheviel was born in another world other then gaia, some hundreds of years back that he's lost track of. His mother was a priestess fo Gaea, and his father a Ranger in the service of Gaea, the Earht mother, protecting the forests and nature. Both were quite opinionated in their beliefs, and reared the children in their footsteps. Kheviel, however, grew dispassionate, to the point that he sought any option other then to follow Gaea - only to protest and resist his parents, and a craving for something different.

He fled his home, leaving the life he knew, and lived on the streets for two weeks before he was picked up by an Assassin after he killed a man effectively and with little remorse - this killing had actually been performed becaus the man had harmed a lady, but the Assassin knew not of this, only that Kheviel was effective, if a little untrained. An offer was made to join the assassins, and Kheviel took it, also taking up worship of a god of Destruction as well. His training gave him much, although he still maintained a certain levle of professionalism, and another level of only taking certain jobs - only those which the killing was justified for a wrong committed to an innocent.

After much fo this life, an incident came up - a fluke of nature that happened in the company of a ood friend and priestess named Sarentia, which flung the two of them out of the world they knew into Gaia. Being the only two caught in this 'storm' they were left rpetty much to fend for themselves in this new land. Thankfully, they had landed among like-kind - elves and half-elves. They blended in and adapted quickly, drawing closer to one another then before ad eventually becoming greatly involved in a romantic relationship.

Kheviel was freelancing his skills to get them both by - and because of his ability, and turning down several guilds, trouble started. He also here picked up his rival, Hairya Everdark, a reckless yet effective assassin for hire under one of the strongest guilds in residence in Gaia. A game fo dangerous tag began between them, and Kheviel tried his best to protect those dear to him, but failed one after the next as Hairya slowly picked them down, taking great pleasure in killing Sarentia right before Kheviel and ehr were to be wed.

From that point he led a mostly solitary life, until the day he met Mintaka by chance over the same target...

Timeline of events.

* Kheviel gains a job, from some mysterious person, to take out his 'rival' and most hated person. Payment is the stone for Xuan Yi - which kheviel ahs no idea about.
* After awhile, Kheviel comes home to find his target having invaded his house. After a rough fight, which leaves Khev with an injured leg, he kills him, and Xuan Yi's stone fuses to Kheviel, also deflecting a fatal blow.
* Kheviel spends time recouperating from his injuries. After awhile Min comes knocking -- and this is when they discover he is a host.
* Kheviel and Min grow much closer, despite the fact that both know they will not be around for 'much longer'; this discourages neither.
* Kheviel runs into Aislin, and through helping her back, meets Kishara. Xuan makes himself more known now in the face of chaos and trouble, and because of Kishara's rpesence. After a somewhat terse event, he goes to clean up. After this, Kishara talks to him - and Xuan Yi, by extent.
* Khev helps dispose of the body of a man killed by Alex, and swears to protect her should anyone try to harm her. Also, more conversation with Aislin, including discovering what go she is host to.
* Calico morphs, and Kheviel discovered her downstairs. He now has phsyical evidence of what will come, and must accept losing Min, and that he will suffer similar in the future. This rattles him, even though he does not openly admit it. It begins to make reality some fears he has.
* Kheviel runs into Aislinn and learns a bit more about 'the afterlife' and Nergal's feelings on things regarding what he's done. It puts some fears to rest, but doesn't make anything easier in the long run of 'fate'.
* Kheviel and Xuan meet Crispin, another Dragon king host. Xuan takes a short control of Kheviel's body, which leads to a heated argument between host and dragon after Crispin is gone and Kheviel walks home. The two come to a tenative agreement on how to handle things.
