The egg started to shake a little. I thought it might be cold, so I took a couple of blankets and made a temporary nest for it. Tucking it in firmly and gently, I sat on the ground and stared at it

O rubbed the sleepyness from her eyes and looked at cookie's egg. It started to shake wildly. She saw a tiny whole form on the egg. And then it grew larger. And larger. And larger. And finally, she saw a small head poke out. "Cookie! You hatched!" I said, and hugged cookie tightly

I tossed cookie up in the air and caught her in my arms again. Then, a present box hit my head. "Oww..." I said, rubbing my head, then looked at the presentbox. "Whats this?" I asked to myself. Cookie bounced over to it and poked it?

"Whats a pet pet?" I asked to cookie. Cookie just shrugged and then bounced into my arms. Eventually, it closed its eyes and fell into a slumber. "Good night..." I tucked cookie into a little bed and turned off the lights.

I came back holding a large grocery bag with cookie on top of it. When we got home, cookie hopped off and I layed the bag in the kitchen. Cookie tried to dive into the bag, but I caught her. "No, no snacks yet." I said.
