Hello all! And welcome to the Cosmic Butterflies Quest Thread! I am Takarra_Nikko, one of your two hostesses. We are currently questing for the prizes for an impressive art contest. So this is technically phase one of our quest.

As of this moment we are questing for a two complete sets of 2004 Donation Letters.

Greetings all! I'm Acel, your second hostess, and here are the rules for our little thread.

1. Be polite. I hate rude people. I'll have to beat you with a candy cane if you're rude.

2. Use correct grammar, punctuation and, as much as you can, spelling. I'm an English major and netspeak is a major pet peeve. I'll sic my mink on you. Careful, she may be rabid.

3. Don't PM us unless we know you or you have permission. I'll sic my Coco on you. He may also be rabid.

4. Don't beg. We are -questing-. I'll sic my Kiki on you, and I KNOW she's rabid.

5. This is a quest thread, not a place to advertise. We'd be more than happy to swap banners and post yours in our links post, but otherwise, keep the advertising to your sig.

6. Remember, this is a part of Gaia too. Don't think that our secluded corner is excluded from the TOS. I'll sic the mods on you. (I have a report button and I'm not afraid to use it!)

7. I hate stupid people. Anyone posting here that is just plain, inexcusably, mindlessly dumb will have my entire menagerie, Tak and her pitchfork, and myself sicced on them. Just call me the rabid coonie.

8. Have fun. We're not as scary as we seem. Or at least, I'm not. Tak at 7 AM isn't pretty.... biggrin Anyway, feel free to chat, and please participate in our bishi bumping program!

This is where we monitor the progress of our cosmic quest! As you know, we're questing for a complete 2004 letter set (possibly two).

And we have.. *drum roll*

Also collected thus far for the art contest prizes are:

We're actually doing pretty good. But the letters left are big ones.

Luckily for the art starved masses, Tak is a brilliant artist and has opened a temporary shop to help raise money for this quest. Her prices are as fabulous as the art, so check her out--here.

You read that correctly, ladies and gents! This is a little contest we're starting to keep things fun. Tak and I are big fans of pretty things...and pretty boys. So in your bumps, post pictures of attractive males (preferably of the anime persuasion). No photographs, please. We're looking for art only.

The art does not have to be yours, but if you can remember where you got it, please cite the original creator. It's only fair. Also note our definition of "bishonen" isn't the strict technical definition requiring they be borderline androgenous--anyone attractive will do. 3nodding (Expect to see a lot of DBZ art courtesies of Takarra and myself. heart )

At some point, possibly when the quest is over, possibly at periodic points during the quest, we will hold votes for the sexiest bishi bump, and the poster of the winning bump will recieve an as yet undecided prize. (Tak and I will, of course, not be eligible to win.) This post will also serve as a directory for currently posted bishi bumps.

Just don't even get yourself here. We don't like blacklisting people, but we will. And as you saw in the rules, Acel has a horde of rabid or possibly rabid plushies.
