I believe it destroys your grammar.

Status: Guild entitled The Anti-Text Talk Guild has been bought. I had invited everyone with positive feedback into the guild! Only to find out that guild invites were not working. If you would like to join please submit a literate request!

Yes it does. Go read some of my sister's essays. I have to proofread them all the time. she puts meh instead of me and mi instead of my. She leaves out vowels all the time. And all you do is see her on aim talking like that.

Well thats you. Most people after a while of using text talk, forget what they are writing and wind up using it. My sister and all of her friends actually say lol and lylas out loud. what is lylas?????? Why can't you just type the whole thing? Afraid to excersize your fingers?

then you must be a special case, I think that what new different languages people come up with on the internet should stay on the internet...Because sooner or later generations of kids will be in their english class writing essays just like angelmae's sister, probably worse:

So, I lyke wnt 2 this room and I sawd this 1 dood, and he lyke said,"See spot run." thn Im lyke "Nu C Spt Rn lol"

Its usefull sometimes like when you liek send texts and liek when you are chatting to someone and you have to say something quickly....

I think the only time its ok to use text talk is when texting on your cell phone. It just takes to long to write out anything or and... i just use n e thing and n for those.

"putting in your two cents" is an American expression meaning "put in your own thoughts or feelings"
